Summary: Came quickly to clear a sewer line clog - that was pretty good. I was told "the cast iron is rusted through - you need full dig up and replacement for 24k", which wasn't true. Maybe get them to clear a clog in an emergency, but do a lot of homework before contracting a large scope of work with this group. Details: The first tech came quickly, and was professional. They weren't able to clear the clog from the cleanout in the yard, and wouldn't snake through the toilet. They pulled the toilet to clear it - I don't know if that was necessary, or a lack of skill, or an opportunity to upcharge. "Flushable" wipes got caught on the rough interior cast iron, and caused a backup. Fit-It-24-7 came and cleared the clog, and sent a second tech to do a scope, with the water OFF. Both techs said "Look at the high areas (yellow in the attached pic) where the cast iron is 'trenched'. The high sides are the pipe, and the in the section with the muddy water, that's where it's completely rusted through, and leaking sewage." A different group came to do an estimate. They scoped with the water RUNNING. "The water is clear, and you can see to the bottom and see the cast iron. What looks like a 'trench' is just decades of built up residue/oils. The pipe is beneath that (see green circle in my pic) There's no leak, but I recommend a rotary chain to resurface the cast iron, to remove rough areas that snag wipes." This was either a) an unethical attempt to charge for services not required, or b) a breathtaking lack of effort to determine what was needed, before proposing a HUGE project. If I had gone forward with the repair, I would have gotten lawyers involved after seeing that the cast iron was plenty thick. read more

Kelly replaced the coupler and keep hit water flowing for pennies on the dollar. 3 different "fixit" guys came out and tried to group sale me on a new line, new hot water heater, replacement electrical box and furnace for 60k dollars. Someone just showed up at my house. I said No, then they send me a $0 invoice. WTF???

After nine years as a loyal customer, I feel completely let down and taken advantage of by 24 Fix It. The company installed my furnace and air-conditioning system nine years ago, and until this year, I had been very satisfied with the equipment and service. That trust disappeared when my AC stopped cooling properly. Over seven days, 24 Fix It sent three technicians to my home. All three said the outdoor unit's fan motor was bad. The third technician also claimed there was a leak in the evaporator coil. I was charged $824 for a leak test that appeared to take only about five minutes, then quoted approximately $5,500 for the repair. A salesperson was later sent to my home and quoted me $18,000 for an entirely new AC system. Feeling pressured and uncertain, I contacted another company for a second opinion. That second company confirmed the fan motor was bad and found that the system was low on refrigerant. They repaired the problem for a fraction of what 24 Fix It had quoted. My AC is now working properly, and my house is cold again--without replacing the evaporator coil or purchasing an $18,000 system. What made this experience even more frustrating was the lack of follow-through from customer service. A representative called to ask how everything went, and I explained the entire situation. I requested a refund of the $824 leak-test charge because the evaporator coil was apparently not leaking as their technician had claimed. She promised to investigate and have someone contact me. No one ever called me back. As a longtime customer, I expected honesty, competent service, and basic accountability. Where do I start. Time window. 24-7 didn't show up or call and or let us know 24-7 is not coming. Two days now we have had to take off work to be at our house for 24-7's service. First Day, window 8am-12pm. 8 hours later (arrival time 8pm), 24-7 tech only took 8 minutes to look and determine what was wrong and that charged us $850 dollars, and our A/C Still doesn't work. Called and two weeks later 24-7 can come back out. Today Monday 7-27-2026 window 12pm -2pm .. 24-7 NO CALL NO SHOW. Hour later we call 24-7 to find out that the tech is off and 24-7 is not going to send anybody. "We can back out tomorrow" "No i took today off for this." So if it's the tech not being able to fix and do the things 24-7 says they offer in there ADs, or if its 24-7 not even showing up, or that 24-7 doesn't have the curtesy to letting you know that 24-7 isn't even going to show up! read more

Used this company to do semi annual HVAC inspections. Last year 24/7 installed a new hot water heater that couldn't pass inspection because the exhaust conduit didn't meet code. Today our plumber is repairing the heater because the "technician" failed to install a line from the drip pan to the floor drain. Moreover, these crooks tried to sell me a furnace to replace my perfectly functioning furnace with a new furnace. I have had my furnace and duct work examined by two experienced and honest contractors who both said the furnace was fine and did not need to be replace. Appointment that was between 10-2 moved to 8-9am by 24/7 this morning, requiring me to change my client appt. They never arrived. Called at 9:10 and was told 'Oh they are only 10 min late and are "close", When asked how close, they could not say. If I am 10+ min late to my client appt, and have not called to advise them (which 24/7 did not do), it shows a complete lack of respect for the client. Fix it 24/7 is a joke. First time made an appointment for a "deep clean and tune up" my window of arrival was 8:00am-12:00pm they FINALLY showed up at 8:00pm that night. Christian was here for less than 15 minutes and "diagnosed" a leak somewhere. They charged us $850 to fix it. Come to find out they didn't even clean the coils or anything. And my AC still wasn't fixed. We took it upon ourselves to do the job Fix it didn't do, and clean the coils. They were caked with debris. My husband sliced his finger open while trying to get it back together and to top it off, it still wasn't working right. So I call for them to fix this, I set up ANOTHER appointment and was promised a 10:00-2:00 window. I called at 2:30 because I had not heard anything. Their response "I'm sorry, we don't have an available tech today but I can get you in tomorrow" i took today off for them to no calls, no show and they didn't even have the decency to call and let me know? I am supposedly a member of their Club so that I get yearly checkups and cleanings for HVAC . I was scheduled for today , and have been scheduled for months. I get a text and a call last night and this morning stating they had to cancel and need to reschedule. The problem is it's the beginning of June and they want to schedule me for my AC service at the end of August . The excuse I was given was that there are so many emergencies and people don't have air conditioning at all . What a load of crap . It hasn't been that hot for any amount of days but apparently they are predicting emergencies for all of June all of July and all of August . He told me this happens every year . So why would they schedule me in June if they are planning on a bunch of emergencies for 3 months every day . Something Fishy is going on . I don't need an AC check , cleaning, tune up at the end of summer . That's why they scheduled me in june. Now I'm just mad and I guess I have to have an emergency in order to get anything done which they are contracted to do. My sewer line was cleaned and and then had a camera inspection. Martin cleaned the line and did a good job. He answered my questions and explained what he was doing. Then Josh who is an experienced plumber came and did the camera scope. Josh had an iPad for me to personally watch the camera scope. Martin had done an excellent job cleaning the line so the camera scope showed the whole line. A good camera scope needs a very clean line. I was a residential real estate broker for over 30 years and watched over 150 sewer inspections with my clients. I am very comfortable in saying I thought the two sewer employees were very experienced and knew what they were doing. The price for the sewer clean and camera scope was very reasonable at $120. I paid $102 as I am part of a member program. I plan to use them again. read more

My furnace was not turning on so we decided to call fix it 24/7 and needless to say it was not a good experience whatsoever. To start off, our scheduled window for someone to look at our furnace was 1pm till 5pm. He didn't end up showing up till 4:40, and let us know that if we wanted the service we would have to pay extra for going over the allotted time even though he was the one to arrive so late. Secondly, the diagnosis he gave would cost around $1500, which was way out of my price range. I decided to get a second opinion from another company and they ended up telling me that there was no need for that $1500 repair at all, and gave me a proper diagnosis of my furnace with no charge. Fix-it 24/7 charged us $150 for him to be late and be here for less than 10 minutes. All in all, I definitely do not recommend them if you are looking for honest and helpful. read more

Had a gas leak. Gas shut off. We waited from 6:00 in the morning till to about 6:00 an night. We were told a service man would be calling the entire day. Many times by a AI operator. When they showed up the repair man was great, but it cost us $1500. to tighten up about five pipe couplings in four feet of pipe, and put on two new flex couplings. About three hours work. So here's the deal. These guys will come out VERY quick when you need them. The techs know their stuff, are all licensed, drug tested, etc, etc. They have really good guarantees, and will handle things like registering warranties for you (but then you are locked into using them for warranty work). The problem is, despite claiming to have competitive rates, they are easily double that of other licenced contractors in the area. They charge you for all visits, even if it's just an estimate. They also have a membership plan they offer to bring those costs down a but, but even with member pricing, you'll end up paying more than you would. For big jobs, they offer financing, but be VERY wary of this, as even with an 800+ credit score, you'll be put into something with a 13% APR. I got involved with all of this when I needed my HVAC system replaced. I knew it was gonna be a financial hit, so I sucked it up, and I am happy with the work that was done. But a few weeks later i called them out again to so a simple replacement on a broken frost-free (essentially just involves sweating a single connection) and even as a member of their green plan, they were going to charge me $630. (I had Garvin's Sewer Service do the exact same job a few years ago for closer to $200). I worked with High Five Plumbing when I was remodelling a bathroom and updating a tankless water heater. They have almost the same setup, with quick response times, a membership discount plan, accredited plumbers, etc, and they were MUCH more reasonably priced. The big difference with Fix It 24/7 is they do have larger crews for big jobs, and can tackle them faster than other companies I have worked with. If you need quality AND speed, perhaps it's worth the cost. If it's a smaller job, and/or you have more time, I'd strongly suggest shopping around. So far, I've found Garvin's to be the most affordable for smaller/routine jobs like fixing a faucet, or rooting a sewer line, and High Five was great at coming back to follow up with small issues that popped up in my remodel project. read more

So when I googled the average cost to install a new lighter starter w/parts and it came back between $150 - $300, and member discount was $327, it got me scratching my head, had I not been a member I would have been charged $436. If you are planning on hiring fix-it 24/7; you should read this review 1st & then make the decision that is best for you.   In a nutshell, I paid an outrageous $2500 to have a shower/tub valve ($200 in total parts) installed that took about four hours in Jan '24.  I'm out of state & had to get the job done ASAP for my 88-year old mom; so I went with 24/7 on the web's high reviews.  I called the customer service & the plumber arrived that afternoon.  The plumber gave me an estimate of $2400.  I was shocked. But he said that was the standard cost for this job and the cost included a warranty and he could do the job right then. He didn't break down the estimate. By this time the water was off to the house and mom was not doing good (very stressed) so I approved the estimate.  The plumber replaced the shower/tub valve in short order, turned on the water and sent us the bill.  Note, you can only see the invoice AFTER you pay.  The invoice was very simple, but note there is no warranty information whatsoever.  Turns out, they don't provide a written warranty, not even a short statement on the invoice. Job charges: 1.Trip charge:  $39.00 2.Tub and shower:  $1871.00 3.Remodel plate:  $153.00 4.P314 limited access: $432.00 5.Sales taxes:  $0.00 6.Total of $2495.00 Their website states under plumbing they charge a transparent flat-rate pricing, by the job & no hourly rate; so I assumed that the $1871 for the total parts, labor, etc for the tub/shower kit installed.  I didn't know what was the $432 limited access charge.  I called their customer service section and asked for a detailed explanation of the bill.  The service rep explained the $1871 was indeed the parts, labor, and warranty for the installation but didn't know what was the $432 limited access charge. She put me on hold and after a long pause told me no-one there at that moment knew what that charge was for and that the plumbing manager would call me.    No call back that day, so by the end of the next day I called back. It took a minute, but I finally got to talk to the Carlos, a manager, and we went over the bill.  He immediately told me the service rep(s) were wrong regarding what they told me concerning the bill and that they just answer phones but don't know the billing.  Wow, that was surprising.  They seemed confident in their answers which happened to match the "we charge by the job and not by the hour fee statement" on their website.  Carlos explained that $1871 is just for the purchase of the tub and shower faucet and a 24/7 response for one year warranty on that part.  The delta faucet installed cost $98 on Amazon, $120 at Home Depot and $191 on the Delta website.   He explained that I purchased the $120 faucet set from them for $1871 because they provide it with a one year warranty. Their claim of transparent pricing went out the window.  No where did they tell me that I would pay over 15 times the cost of the plumbing component for this part plus warranty.  Carlos went on to say that the p321 limited access cost of $432 was the labor cost.  Again, so much for their website stating they charge a flat rate.  I am not sure why the bill just didn't say labor and why the customer service folks who see bills daily didn't know that.  (Each rep I spoke with had the bill pulled up in front of them.) Carlos freely admitted that they are an expensive company but said their 24/7 customer service is worth the premium cost. Carlos also stated they do not provide a written warranty but he could email something if I wanted.  Carlos admitted I was correct in each of my complaints, followed by reiterating that they are expensive, but their warranty makes it worth it.   I think the warranty cost should be a separate line item up front and the customer should decide if they are willing to pay for that cost. To jack up the cost of a plumbing part by 15 times and not tell the customer is a foul in my opinion.  Paying $1871 for a less than $200 part with $1671 of that amount for an unwritten warranty needs to be spelled out when giving the initial estimate. The day after the install, we had to call 24/7 back for a problem that would be under warranty. We called and got an answering service that said the call was being forwarded to an appropriate craftsman and they would call us back. Well no call backs and it took a week to get a plumber back out. But now it's a different plumber. Once he discovered it was a warranty issue, he said it's not his problem as he was going to tell the dispatcher to get the original plumber out and he left. No callback from anyone and after calling customer service a few days later they said the service call got misplaced. So much for 24/7 service. By this time we had to call another plumbing company and they came right out and fixed the problem. We did send the bill to 24/7 and they paid for it. We asked for money back on the warranty, but they said since it wasn't written they weren't gonna give us reimbursement for it. read more

So basically you just have to waste days of your life waiting for no one to even consider the time they are taking away from you to sit around for a 4hr window each day then to blow you off and just redo the 4 hrs window the next day just to blow you off again. I do not recommend them unless you work from home and have hours to days to give to them. Horrible customer service and follow through. never use again and had to make a new appointment with a different company to get my service done. cause my time does matter!!!!!!! read more

In April of 2023, we had Fix-it 24/7 come out to do preventative maintenance on our 3 year old furnace. The tech was great and friendly. In October of 2023, our furnace was not working. We called Fix-it 24/7 and they came out the next day. The tech was in our basement for 5 minutes and told us that the gas was turned off. He then charged us $194. My husband called several times and never got a return call. The gas was obviously turned off by the tech in April and I don't think we should have been charged for their mistake. read more

As I checked in multiple times I was told "I was next", During my final call I was told it was my fault because I booked incorrectly(I did not). She said "we really aim to get to all appointments but that is just not possible". Can you imagine if this backwards logic was used in any other field? What if your surgeon said "sorry we didn't get to your surgery today! We aim to get everyone but that's not possible". So disrespectful of peoples lives!
