I had Fix It Quick plumbing come out and hook up a new sink and garbage disposal back in October of 2023 when I got new countertops and a new sink. It was $800 which I thought was a lot for a two hours job but I wanted to get it done and finished. It was a young guy who came out and he was showing his brother how to do plumbing. He hooked up the garbage disposal and the sink and the drain pipe. Nine months later it was leaking, in August of 2024. I forgot who originally did the work and called up Fix it Quick again after looking up plumbers on Yelp and they said it would be $950 to replace the tail pipe and P Trap and put everything back together. I then looked through my old emails and found that they had originally done the work. I called them back and told the woman there that they did the original work in October of '23 and to at least give me a discount if not fix it for free because it shouldn't be leaking 9 months later. The woman said she would have somebody call me back. Nobody ever called me. I called another company and the guy came out. He saw that the washer on the drain pipe to the P-trap was damaged and that was why it was leaking. He put in a new washer for free. He told me it was a super easy fix. These guys were planning to gouge me for $950. I won't ever use them again. Now I will remember the name Fix It Quick and never use them again. read more
