I just left the car wash, got home and noticed an area where the paint had come off my door. It's maybe an inch long/wide but very noticeable. It definitely was not there before my car wash today. My car is in pristine condition so the paint didn't just fall off. I called and talked to the manager who told me there was nothing they could do. I've been going to this car wash for years but will not go there again. She didn't even offer a free car wash to make up for it (not that it would've made up for them doing that to my car), but it would've been a nice gesture. read more

Very disappointing. Car washed and dried (partially) but there were smear marks on the interior windows, and when I opened the trunk, a bunch of water dripped down and when it dried there was a dirty residue left behind. However, by far the worst mistake was THEY CLEARED OUT THE MEMORY SETTINGS ON MY SEATS. Who does that? I'm fairly short and it always irks me when car washes or car repair people move the seat when they get in the car. However, I made sure my latest car had memory positions so I could save my settings and restore them at the push of a button. Somehow the folks at Embassy Car Wash cleared them out so I had to reset them, an exercise that takes a lot of fine tuning and which I was unprepared for, given that I had to be at a professional engagement soon after the car wash and didn't have time. So I read the reviews and thought ok I will give this place a try. Well let's just say my 3 year old could have done a better job. I came home and finished what was suppose to happen there. Also as I was getting in my car to leave the guy walked over like I was going to give him a tip glad I didn't after I seen the job they did. By here is a tip to the owner/ general manager. I came here yesterday paid a lot of money but they still didn't clean inside the car enough . I am here at this moment their rushing everything because they close in 1 hour first paid a lot for my second car second few people to rush and clean my car . Not the greatest service, cashier gave me the biggest attitude and gave me a funny look because I payed the 20$ carwash with singles ( i work at a restaurant ) guess next time ill take my money somewhere else . You get for what you pay. I got a mailer coupon so I thought I'll give it a try and purchased the Deluxe package for 10$ (reg. Is 20$) This is what I got. the automated machine needs maintenance. Soap is not completely washed, car comes out completely wet which I thought it was ok because they will manually take care of it. they spent less than 3 minutes drying the car using dirty towels which left streaks on my windows. Avoid at all costs, they damaged my vehicle. Purchased their premium platinum wash and was terribly disappointed. I do not have high expectations when it comes to a car wash: I expect a clean exterior, clean windows/mirrors, and a vacuumed interior. Embassy used dirty rags to clean my windows. There was a cloudy film (likely dirt mixed with soap and liquid wax) on all my windows. On the inside, my black headliners now have a ton of light blue lint from the old towel that the employee used to perform an interior wipe down. Tons of dust and dirt on the ground due to lackluster vacuuming. Lastly, and most bothersome, is that an ac vent clip was broken due to an attendant applying way too pressure to the AC vents during the wipe down. This was my new car's first wash which makes this all the more frustrating. read more

This is probably the best place to get a car wash in the NOVA area. I love how you get exactly what you expect. I've been to some places where you have to pay extra for a vacuum or for your car to be dried off...WTH! Embassy offers a great deal! First time: the service was good and the car was clean Second time: the left yellow streaks on the inside of the car from the yellow towels they used Third time: they did a terrible job drying and one of the girls gave me a dirty look the entire time i was standing outside waiting for them to dry my car. My theory: because my car has special/distinguishing features, they probably remember me and always watch me to see whether or not i tipped and based on the second experience, so no i didn't tip the third time. so they probably could care less for my car nor for me. read more

Around 3 weeks back I had a platinum wash service done from the Sterling location. I visited around 9 am in the morning. Platinum wash is most premium wash they offer. There is staff who hand cleans the car once the car goes through the drive through area. After the wash I observed some oil spots on the windshield. I was in hurry to get back working hence I had to leave the place. Later I tried to clean the windshield up myself and it was terrible, it took me about 20 mins to clean it up because it wouldnt come off. Also, there were some more places in the car such as cupholder area the dashboard etc. Later same day I reported that on the website and I got a call from them asking for what had happened (There was a lady who called me the same day and I passed over the details to her and she said she would investigate it what had happened and I would get email for it. She also mentioned she will drop me a gift card to compensate it). I haven't heard back anything on that so far. Its been 3 weeks or so. I thought that I should give it a chance and not post a negative review until then but neither did I hear back nor did i receive any gift card as communicated by the lady. Finally I am posting this review after waiting for 3 weeks. One thing that I observed at the car wash station - The staff is in too much of hurry finishing the car wash. This definitely doesn't help. The hand dry doesn't take more than a minute to clean up which could be the prime reason why I had faced this issue. read more

I paid the "platinum" wash for 22.50 and here is what I got: 1) water spots on my hood because they didn't dry it well 2) a dashboard with the same spots because they did not clean them 3) Spots on the driver window because they did not clean them as well 4) The tires and wheels were just as dirty because I did not clean them 5) And a few spots on the front grill of my car were not clean because they did not them. Really terrible. Took my truck in with some left over dirt from a landscaping project in the bed. Made sure to let them know. Paid extra for the best wash, etc. it came out with 3" of muddy water in the bed and the back bumper covered in caked mud. They didn't even attempt. Truly bad service. SCRATCHED MY RIM. Most horrible car wash for their premium prices especially when I saw that they scratched my rim. This is a brand new car with less than 500 miles on it. Manager (Beth) told me the car wash doesn't do that and offered no resolution. Will never go there again and advise you not to either. read more

Subpar. 40 bucks (then tip) for the works and to clean the inside. Came out ok. I was hesitant to try this place due to prior reviews but figured why not. I'm very particular about my car and even "dirty" it's practically in brand new shape. Wasn't super happy to still see dust and crumbs near the stick shift. Interior wipe down was ok (I think I could have done better). Exterior looked ok but I then dried it off further. I've been very loyal to Dr. Wash in Chantilly. I tried this as it's less of a headache to get too however for the same exact price I'll keep visiting Dr. wash. They literally take 45 minutes to do what this shop did in 15. Again, just ok. But for 45.00 total I expect a bit more than just ok. If you are in a time crunch then go here if not then head over to Dr. Wash. read more

Water spots on hood, they didnt dry Spots on window and some dust, they use one towl fo all cars and dry everything with the same towl. I would be careful about this car wash. The last time I had my car washed there, the front driver's side wheel had grease on it when it exited the wash. On removing the grease I the noticed the wheel was scratched. Also the rear driver's side was scratched. A very expensive car wash. Oh yes, and the time before that their brushes somehow managed to dislodge and completely pull out the rear bumper plug insert. They managed to find it and put it back into to the bumper...but then wanted expected a tip. I am looking for a new car wash. read more

I began using Embassy in Fairfax when Vienna Car Wash changed ownership and the customer service across the series of owners following that original ownership change proved inconsistent. Since switching, I've always paid for Embassy's Platinum wash and received an outstanding job! Since late summer of 2015 however, I've consistently had my car was given back to me with neither tire-shine nor wheels wiped dry, and my car was still wet in several places as well. I pointed-out the problem several times until this last visit when I sought out a manager and asked why I must keep reminding and waiting the additional time to receive my paid services. The wash manager informed me that if I want my wheels wiped -- whether or not tire-shine is included in my wash, and regardless of the fact that I had paid for the most expensive $28 wash -- then it is my responsibility to request wheel drying on the outside. I refuse to take-on the responsibility of needing to request that my vehicle be wiped completely dry after purchasing Embassy's $30 after taxes wash...and especially after they left me with a customer experience as if the entire situation was my fault. Have not returned since, and will likely not try any other Embassy location given they all likely have the same policy. read more

If I could rate this car wash a zero, I would. Yesterday, I had a thirty dollar wash and the results were terrible. The wash was 5 stars but the drying and wiping down the inside was a zero. I spoke to the management and she corrected the the outside issue, but once I got in the car, I noticed the inside was not finished or was never touched. As a customer, I should not have to go through the aggravation of highlighting mistakes. The problem, no QA/QC of the work being performed. This is my second iteration of issues with this car wash. I was super excited for about a week or two to bring my car here after looking at the website and seeing what they offer. I decided to go with the deluxe wash. I went around 11Am and it was kinda busy I was there for about 20 minutes. I was not impressed. My car was hardly vacuumed..didn't even touch the trunk and it was full of sand so I wanted it clean. The car wash itself was good MINUS the back of the car. My trunk, license plate area, window were still dirty. I mainly got the deluxe wash so my tires would get cleaned. I was disappointed bc my tires weren't clean at all...I could take my finger to them and pick up black. When I got in my vehicle, the floor mats and petals were soaking wet making it hard for me to drive. Why pay 20$ when I can go to a normal car was for 5$ and vacuum for $1 and wipe down my own tires...not worth the money. Now I have to go back pay MORE money to clean my car the right way. read more

I give this Embassy Autowash one star only because that is the lowest mark on Yelp. I think the attached photos of my 2014 BMW 320i are self explanatory. I paid for the Super Wash service on Monday, 18 Dec. In addition to doing a poor cleaning job, they broke off the driver side floor edge plastic cover. I reported the incident to the casher who directed a lady name Rosa to assist. After filling out the damage claim form, she informed me that the manager would contact me the next day. It is now the evening of 21 Dec... still waiting for that phone call to apologize and offer remedy for the damage. read more

Ok...so the sides of the car and the hood look clean, but the roof was still filthy after the first wash (we purchased the most expensive wash-$28) we asked them to send it back in, pointing out that the roof was still really dirty.
