I wouldn't trust them with a simple oil change. I have taken my car to this mechanic multiple times as I live less than a 5 minute drive away from them. My brakes went out on the car so I came to them, like I usually do. They told me that I can buy the part myself and pay for the labor or have them order the part + labor. I decided to order the part myself because it was almost half the price. I made sure that I ordered the correct part, looked up the make, model, VIN #. It came and when he installed it, my car did work but as soon as the speed exceeded 45mph the steering wheel would aggressively shake and would not go any faster. I could not even drive to work on John Mosby. So of course, I took it back to them. They told me that the part was incorrect and I should have gotten it with them. They told me I would need to pay for labor again if I were to order the part with them. Not having any other option and needing a car for my daily life, I agreed and paid for them to order the part + the labor (again). I've gone back and forth with them so many times, each time they said they "fixed my car" the problem persisted. They were becoming upset that I jAlthough the shaking did improve a bit, it was still there. And it wasn't light shaking, i'm talking hard jolts from side to side while driving. I went to 3 other mechanics, they said whatever they did to my car was completely incorrect and uncalled for. On top of that, it was time for my emissions to be renewed and Gum Spring Auto said that I would need to spend around $1000 for it to pass since it couldn't without fixing it. Finally I got some common sense and took the L and went to another mechanic. I took my car to Stone Springs auto and it passed without anything needing to be fixed. They said all I needed was my check engine light to not be on, which it wasn't. These people have no idea what they are doing. I wouldn't trust them with an oil change. Don't come here unless you want to waste your time and money. I have no idea how this business is still running.

My vehicle failed inspection here, so I took it to an independent licensed mechanic and completed the recommended repairs. When I returned to Jock's Exxon for re-inspection, the vehicle failed again. Later that same day, I took the same vehicle--without any additional repairs--to a different Virginia-licensed inspection station, where it passed a full safety inspection. This review reflects only my personal experience and opinion, but I found the inspection results at this location to be inconsistent. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if your vehicle fails inspection here.

So 18 bucks to run through the machine and slap some tire shine on. It does allow you to drive around to the inside and they do have towels and very good vacuums to do the rest of the work yourself. If I knew that I had to dry my car off myself I would have just washed it at home in the driveway since that's half the job. They have some memberships here that I need to look into that involve unlimited washes but maybe if you don't have a place to wash your car it's a great deal for you but I'll either be going to the train station or just do it myself.

They have many vacuum stations with high-power suction vacuums, a variety of spray cleaners, clean cloths for customers to use, and a floor mat cleaning station. It's also very clean, with friendly staff constantly maintaining the supplies, and good music playing overhead.

Station Auto Wash Express was fantastic today. The woman in front of me was having issues getting on the rollers but staff, including the GM, were patient with her and then apologized to me for the delay. The cheapest wash ($14) did a really, really, really good job on my car, which was filthy. The interior vacuums are self done, but I actually preferred that as allowed me to focus on what I wanted to. The vacuum was strong, they give you free cleaning sprays and microfiber clothes that were damp. On top of that, I broke the back windshield wiper on my car while cleaning it and called over a staff member. He wasn't able to fix it (again, it was entirely my fault) but he called another employee on the radio who he said was a car guy and that person fixed it quickly and with a smile. So reasonable price, fantastic/friendly/helpful staff and a super clean car. What every car wash should strive to be.
