After what…read moreI would call a terrible experience with an orthodontis in town, Dr Seaman helped me with an ongoing issue I had with a permanent retainer. He spoke to me face to face and listened to my concerns and gave me a number of options. I recommend going here for any dental work, he is skilled in it. The only bad part is that he didn't listen to me at my follow up appointment. I told him multiple times that I didn't want a retainer and wouldn't wear one- however he still included a retainer in my quote. He has fear service, but could go the extra mile by listening to his client- if you can't remember write it down!

Kyle Hobson and his crew are very efficient, friendly, easy to relate to and with. Sometimes, they seem almost psychic. They knew what was on my mind many times over the years, usually before I knew what services I both needed and wanted. At my age (advanced as is), I had yellowing, severely worn teeth. I was referred to this clinic to provide semiannual cleanings and any special services as the clinic requested and justified. I expressed my hope that my teeth could be replaced with something whiter and longer that what God had left in my mouth, if for no other reason than to allow for my cheeks to stop being chewed by my stubby teeth! One day, Dr. Hobson called me at home and asked if I would come in on Saturday to start the replacement process. "Sure!" I said. That is a bait and switch.. I should have called by the office. I had built up a trust with my usual person That is bad business, in my opinion. 2. I had two side by side crown replaced by Dr. C. He ran into trouble when he could not remove a tiny piece of cement from between the crown. He probed and probed. I bled and bled. I would probably still be in the chair had not the retired/prior owner dentist stopped in the room and suggested something that instantly worked. My gums ached for days. I do question Dr. C's high prices when he is just starting out.

I recently had a routine cleaning & received a bill showing I was charged the out-of-network rate, while I was informed this office is in-network with my insurance. When I reached out to the office to ask about the bill, I was initially told that I should be in-network, that they would look into this for me & would get back to me later that day. By the end of the following day, I hadn't heard anything back, so I called them again. They just told me what we already knew, which was that insurance only covered 60% of the bill (the out-of-network rate). At this point, I looked up my benefits on my insurance's website just to be sure they hadn't changed. My research confirmed my coverage for that appointment should have been 100%. I even called my insurance company, who also confirmed that the visit should have been covered 100% but was billed improperly. I called again & talked to someone else, who agreed that it was weird that the bill wasn't covered & that they would reach out to the manager & get back to me. Nearly 1 week later & I never heard back from anyone. Instead, I got another message stating that I still had an overdue bill. So, I reached out a fourth time to ask if someone was looking into the bill like I was told. I received a message back stating, again, that my insurance only covered 60% of my bill. Which, as mentioned, we'd already established. At this point, I was quite frustrated as I didn't seem to be making any progress with the bill or getting through to anybody, so I went in-person to the office to try to talk to someone in billing or a manager (which I had to take time out of my work day to do since I work full time). The manager was not available when I went in, so I asked them to at least send her a message for me along with a break down of my insurance benefits (which I printed out for them). I am still waiting to hear back. I work in the medical field, so I understand that things can take time, especially with billing issues and insurance. I also know a lot about insurance at this point and understand that sometimes claims are mistakenly billed or processed improperly. What's frustrating to me is the lack of communication and unwillingness to look further into things for me, especially when I had reached out to the office four different times. Instead of trying to understand what the problem was, it was mostly just met with the same phrase over and over: "Your insurance covered 60%." Instead of this office advocating for me, I've had to go way out of my way to advocate for myself. I believe it's important to advocate for your patients, and that just has not been my experience with this office. I can't imagine what this situation would be like for another patient who hasn't worked with insurance, who may not understand fully what their insurance benefits are and who may not know how to advocate for themselves. Hopefully this office is able to help me out with this situation, though I'm not inclined to return for more appointments in the future. Certainly not worth the headache or wasted time.
