Not worth the money. Food isn't very good. I don't mind paying more if food is good, but it's just not worth it here.

The atmosphere was great. The smoked double old fashioned was cool, and I'm not a whiskey drinker. I had the garlic bread, which was lovely and also ordered the Frutti di Mare. The sauce was good, the mussels and few shrimp were nice. The lobster was tough and the salmon was non-existent (literally). It may have well been called Linguini pasta with Calamari. The waiter was super helpful and attentive. It was a Wednesday, so maybe it was just a mid-week moment. I'd give it a second chance, but I'd try something else. read more

Very classy. Excellent food and service. Chef Ramsey would approve. Very comfortable seating. It has all the style and swank of a jazz club fit for Frank Sinatra. There's a wine review room inside a glass room. A stage for live jazz artists. They have a higher level seating area with couches . The lower level has the tables and long bar. The food was excellent and the service was very good. However, we made reservations to eat at a nice restaurant- not a haunted house. The decor for Halloween was over the top, disturbing and not appreciated when planning on taking special guests to an "upscale" restaurant for a nice meal. Everyone around was given bread with oil. I was not offered, then I requested she said she forgot. Then they finally brought my food i think there were only 3 raviolis for 23 dollars. Seams a little steep for 3 raviolis. After i was all done with my food the bartender says she forgot the bread but it will be another 10 minutes because the ran out. Don't even bother. Overall I would give this restaurant a 8.2 out of 10. The food was good. The appetizers were good, the tomatoes were a little bit too big, and there could've been more cheese for a more fresh taste. The lobster bisque was excellent. The bread was okay. I thought the rack of lamb was excellent, It had a great flavor, it could have been cooked a little less, one of the best rack of lambs I've tried. The desserts were good. Key lime martini was a little too sweet. Service was super slow but the live music was great! The environment was super cool! The server gave us options to try mine was the best out of the four I ate all mine and it was good but the wife and in laws just didn't quite hit the spot that day. Never have I felt so badly betrayed by a good Yelp score. The first clue should have been the entirely empty parking lot (except us and one other car) for lunch on Saturday just after noon. We were lured into a false sense of security with a delicious old fashion and mussel appetizer. The facade lasted as far as the soup course (French onion soup which was great but the bread on top was crazy soggy, and the lobster bisque which was just plain great) which overall was pretty good. But then the curtain dropped when they brought out the main courses. Both the seafood paella and the fruti di mare were awful and we ended up not eating much of it. I sent mine back after a few bites (did eat the lobster part of it) because the foul tasting clams tainted the entire dish (anything that was below the rice line tasted atrocious). The shrimp that was on top tasted ok but that clams seriously ruined everything. I was not offered to have my entree comped however I was given a free desert (which makes it a 35 dollar soggy watery tiramisu). After spitting out the first 3-4 bites my gf understandably also was reticent to eat her food (her meal also had clams). She ended up just having it tossed after picking at it a while but was too polite to send it back. Maybe we just got unlucky with our seafood that day, but when you pay 170 dollars you expect better than to fear food poisoning, I have never had a worse meal that cost so much and will regret it for months. I guess it's too much to expect decent seafood in Odessa (the exception being red oak's fish tacos and the new crab places myb). Additionally we were charged higher than the price listed on the menu by a dollar on several different items so be careful they aren't overcharging you as well (we didn't notice till after leaving). Avoid at all costs, a shiny veneer cant hide the overpriced failings of west Texas seafood. You might have a different experience if you get the lamb or something but be careful with seafood because it's really hit or miss. And when it misses, it misses HARD!! The one caveat was that the service was excellent, however seeing as we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant it becomes less commendable. We will never be back here, the very fact that no one bothered to taste the paella before it went out means there's a lack of quality control which clearly everyone else must have already known judging by the empty parking lot. read more

After seeing customers pictures and reading their reviews. My girlfriend and I decided to try flair taverna. The place has a nice setting. It was comfortable sitting there. The waitresses were excellent. They made sure we had everything we needed. We had ordered a house salad with our entrees. The salads were fresh and tasted very good. I thought since they served good salads. The entrees would be much better. I was very wrong!! My girlfriend ordered a pizza with a crispy crust. I ordered the seafood paella. Her pizza was somewhat enjoyable. The crust was still very soft when my girlfriend asked for it to be crispier. The the meats were subpar. Still, it was somewhat enjoyable. My dish looked nothing like the picture on their webpage. The rice was over cooked and bland. The lobster tail was very small and rubbery. The calamari was also rubbery. The clams and mussels were rubbery too. It was all over cooked. There was no flavor to the dish. This is my only suggestion. Hire cooks who take pride in the food they prepare. Because as for now, there's no way we're going back. The three stars are for the service and the salads. Which we should of only ordered. read more

Incredible restaurant. Everything ordered was cooked perfectly. We had the crab cakes, french onion soup, filet mignon, ribeye, bread pudding, and creme brûlée. They could not have done a better job with any of it. Worth the money. Filet was hands down the best cooked steak I have ever had in the permian basin. I love this restaurant so much, best one in Odessa in my personal opinion. I've tried a fair amount of dishes here now and am rarely disappointed. The ribeye is always incredible along with the very filling French onion soup, least favorite thing I've tried was the chicken al limone. The menu is diverse and the service is always great. I believe Keisha has helped me here twice and she is always so upbeat and helpful. Lastly, I would suggest ordering the carpaccio, something worth trying that you probably can't find anywhere else in the area. read more
