My family loves this unassuming spot, and I might not have tried it otherwise were it not for their recommendations. Happy to say I'm glad we did. We ordered ahead for take out and only waited a few minutes after paying at the register. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While waiting in this clean, no frills, rectangular space, I appreciated the wall of pizza trays by the inches offered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Order from personal pan size to XL (traditional 8 slice pie), so if you have less fans of a certain topping, get the smaller size. No leftovers. Service was friendly and accommodating. I asked for garlic powder and they gave me a buttery garlic sauce; I forget garlic powder isn't common at pizza joints outside NYC. When we unboxed, the pizzas were perfectly cooked, not burnt anywhere, cheese had a great pull, and toppings were packed on. The doughy base was quite good and perfectly chewy. Very satisfying and well worth a visit.

Walked in around 12:30 pm on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted promptly but were the only customers in the place. Simple seating, very plain, New York pizza joint feel. We ordered the cheese bread and the two comments from my wife when they brought it out was, "That looks good AND that smells good". It was hot, had good flavor and the bread was cooked enough to have a toasty firmness but still be soft and gooey. Served with a side of dipping marinara, the contrast of the hot bread and cool marinara was delicious (4.5 stars). We ordered a medium stuffed crust pizza, half margarita pizza, half meat lovers. Took about 10 minutes to be served. It looked great but the two pizzas created a very different experience depending on what you ate. The margarita pizza had no marinara sauce that was visible or that you could taste. Diced tomatoes and basil with lots of cheese actually tasted bland and didn't pair well with the crust we ordered. The pizza dough was excellent but we can't recommend the margarita based on our experience (1.5 stars). The meat lovers produced an entirely different result. The flavor was great, it had marinara sauce and the meat toppings blended perfectly with the stuffed crust. Hot and fresh, this was a pizza worth ordering. The crust was delicious and based on our experience with the cheese bread we think they know how to make and cook a good pizza dough. (4.5 stars). I'd recommend this pizza place just not the margarita pizza. They have Italian dishes and calzones as well which we will try if we come again. Overall 3.5 stars but I Yelp doesn't let me do have star reviews so I gave it 3.

This place is small so it looks like they do more take out and delivery than anything. We tried the fried shrimp which wasn't bad tasting and they paired it with their in house marinara sauce. The shrimp were crispy and served up piping hot. Couldn't be mad at that. The medium pizza was a really good size for my wife and I. If I had to say anything that didn't let me give them a 5 it would be their can drink selection and that there's no sriracha. It wasn't a bad experience the staff was pleasant and it really looked like a family owned business/mom and pop shop. Like the owners actual younger adolescent children were working the register and the much older adults working the oven. The dough was fluffy and had a good crunch to it, the cheese was stringy, we didn't get to taste the sauce so much with the pizza which was a little bit of a let down but overall the pizza was good. It wasn't burnt, cooked perfectly, and it was filling. 8/10 would recommend.

My new favorite pizza place. We ordered a personal pizza with chicken, bacon, mushrooms, and spinach, mozzarella sticks, and chicken pasta, which included garlic bread. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. Absolutely delicious! The pizza was baked to perfection and it had generous portions of meat and vegetables. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Excellent movie in the background (The Mummy). The staff was very pleasant, courteous, and friendly. Definitely coming back!

We ordered through GrubHub for pickup, and it all went pretty smoothly. With a name like 'Famous Pizza', we had to try it at least once. Being gastronomically adventurous, we also went with the Gyro Meat Pizza. The pizzas can be made with a 4 different crust options - only the stuff crust option is extra cost. We went with the thick crust with one pizza and regular crust with the other. I guess the thick crust is the better option if you're hungry, but overall the regular crust seems better and less doughy. As for the taste overall, the pizzas are decent. We actually enjoyed the Gyro Meat Pizza more than the Famous Pizza. We would rate this place a 3.5, but let's round it up.

Favorite pizza place ever! I order here frequently, both takeout and delivery. Service is fast and ordering online is easy. The pizza is fresh and so flavorful. I love the 10 inch personal pies. The lemon pepper wings are 1000% it! Very well deserved 5 stars.

Sooo this was my first time here a few days ago......I will most certainly be back! The flavors of their sauce, cheese and pepperoni are in my opinion one of the best I've had around. I was initially going to knock a point off for the crust, but that was my doing by requesting it. So no harm done! The cheese bread were to die for! Garlicky, cheesy and buttery.....then the side marinara sauce gave it that one, two kick in the mouth piece! Next time I'm going for a thin crust because I know I won't be disappointed!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Surprisingly a great little hole in the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sauce is perfectly delicious. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my Husband and Son ordered a pizza. We shared everything and enjoyed everything. Weve always loved the food here. HOWEVER, it's Sunday today and last night we tried to order a delivery. We had no idea they were closed until our order did not arrive after an hour! You see... they TOOK our order. They just weren't delivering them until Sunday!!! First of all being closed on Saturday??? How much business are they missing??? Then it's not a lot of trouble to deliver those orders on Sunday????? No, this is a BAD idea!!!! Ridiculous!! Of course if we are only ones unhappy I guess they can go on doing it and be fine. Just don't try to order on Saturday! Ridiculous!!! We may never order from there again!! And we always loved this place for YEARS!!! We deserve a free meal!! We recently moved to the area and decided to try a new place. This pizza shop has become one of my families favorite. We love the Mozzarella and Alfredo sauce pizza. Only thing is I wish this came as an option instead of having to take everything off of the Chicken Alfredo like pizza. The delivery guys are always super nice which is rare. I've been here about 3 times now (I think) and it has not disappointed. The items here are nicely priced and there's a nice Yelp check-in offer to enjoy. The last time I came, I ordered a pizza roll and I just might order that going forward. It's literally a pizza rolled into a stick for just $3 or so. The time before that, we ordered a muffalatta and it was HUGE! They fortunately serve it to you split, so it was the perfect division between me and my boyfriend. Whatever you order here, you won't regret. I recommend this place if you are wanting pizza and wanting to support local. Each time I've come, they've been fast too. read more

ased on my experience and in my opinion. Ordered veggie and Gyro pizzas and cheese sticks online; on a lark ordered wings ($7.99 for 10 pc) at the time of pick up. Latter was highly endorsed by the person at the store. Returned home and tasted the wings; was utterly disappointed! Wings were deep fried with the skin on and the Mango Habanero sauce was smeared at the bottom. Wings had no flavor and dipping them in the sparse sauce made no difference. Called the store to provide feedback; the person who answered /had recommended the wings was nice and apologetic. However no offer to compensate or substitute for the disappoint read more

YUM I ordered a small pizza which was a good size I had left overs to take home ! It was yummy . Fried mushrooms were good and my mom's meatballs and spaghetti was delicious!! I also had the wings medium that was good as well. The habanero ranch was so hot lol I liked it . Service was good especially bc there's only a few tables mainly a takeout place and they were really attentive and sweet . The prices are also hard to beat ! read more

To be honest, when this showed up on my Uber eats, I thought it was a different pizza joint I wanted to try.. after I made my order and took a shower. I realized, this want the place I wanted to order from. Soooooooooo, now I'm worried. When the food arrived, and I opened the box, I pleasantly surprised the pie looked as good as it did and it tasted even better. During this winter storm my boyfriend and I contemplated walking to Flamin' Stone for their wings. We ultimately didn't walk, but today the sun is out and we needed gasoline. We ordered a lunch special Philly cheesesteaks (w/o mushrooms), a lunch special Chicken Parmesan Sub, and 15 Cayenne Lemon Pepper Wings. Flamin' Stone has some of the best wings I've had in the Houston area and never disappoints. This was the first time trying their subs and the bread was soft and good texture. For the price, fries, and a soda the lunch special can't be beat! Next time we will definitely try their muffuletta and their pasta. Go get a hot lunch or dinner during these cold times. read more

I won't leave a bad review here because my family LITERALLY orders atleast weekly from here as their stuffed crust pizza is my daughter's favorite. I like all of their pasta! Tonight was a unique experience and hopefully a one off. Our seafood pasta had hardly any sauce and the Fettuccine Alfredo was 1/4 of the usual amount. The food was still great! Mediocre at best. Not a place to sit down with the family and eat. They really need to upgrade their sausage, it looked and tasted super processed . Very bland. read more

I've only ever ordered delivery from this location but the food is awesome and very reasonably priced. They always deliver quickly and piping hot. I've tried both their pizza and their pasta and have always been satisfied with the taste and the portion size. read more

The restaurant is small with only tables and maybe 4-5 seats at the small bar. We arrived about 15 minutes before our 6:45pm reservation and had to wait due to no available tables, but that was not a showstopper. The noise level was moderate throughout our stay such that one could easily carry on a conversation with table mates without having to scream. Almost all patrons were nicely dressed. Since this is a Michelin acknowledged restaurant two years in a row, we were expecting uniqueness and we were not disappointed. That said, food was very good, but I would not rate it as spectacular. The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.
