I went to Flamin Wok on June 10, 2026, with my dad after he saw the restaurant on TikTok and wanted to give it a try. I'll admit, I was a little hesitant at first. The overall vibe can feel a bit intimidating when you first walk in, and it's not somewhere I'd recommend if you're looking to dine in. The space is very small with limited seating, so it's definitely better suited for takeout. That said, a Jamaican-Chinese fusion restaurant immediately caught our attention, and once we got our food, any doubts I had disappeared. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned. I'm honestly surprised by some of the reviews I've seen because our experience was the complete opposite. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice, and my dad had the oxtails with rice and peas. Both meals were delicious, and the lemonade was a great addition. The food was not that good. Stood on line for 40 minutes to finally order. Line was out the door . Ordered the oxtail lo mein . Chilli wings was tough as nails. The oxtails were not tasty at all and neither was the lo mein. Yes they give a lot of food for $48.88 cents. It's edible but it was not my cup of tea. I'm glad I tried it , ..I hate to waste food. I've been hearing about this place for a long time and while trying to find someplace for lunch, I stumbled upon it. When you walk inside, you are overwhelmed by an assortment of food dishes, and inside of the store smells amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful lady at the front counter. Explained what they had and what everyone likes to order. I ordered jerk chicken Rasta pasta to go. The order was $12 and the food was actually very good. The pasta was not mushy and sauce is very flavorful. I will definitely come here again and try some more things that they have. read more

This came up as a recommendation via social media and we just had to try this fusion restaurant. The entire experience can be described as chaotic. There's technically a menu but it's inaccurate. No one knows what's on the menu, what are the sides, what's available, it's all a mystery. Customers end up spending 10min ordering because there's no set menu. The wait time was excessive, even when ordering ahead. And despite being labeled as fusion, there wasn't much Chinese influence beyond the lo mein. As for the food, the flavor just wasn't there. We tried the jerk wings, oxtails with rice & peas, shrimp, sweet and sour chicken with a side of jerk fried rice, and Rasta pasta. Lots of potential but unfortunately, they miss the mark. I've had this spot bookmarked for a while and finally got to give it a try! Stopped by on a Friday evening and it was packed with a line out of the door. A good sign, considering the temperature was below freezing with the wind. When you first walk in, it smells amazing and you can see some of the dishes behind the glass. There is no seating at all, so if you don't live or have a place to go nearby, be prepared to eat in your car. lol There is no official menu that I could find online or in the store, so we had to wing it. We tried to listen to other people's orders to get an idea of what we wanted to try. We ordered the oxtail lo mein and some fried rice. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The oxtail was so tender that the ancestors would be proud. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and packed with vegetables. We didn't order any beverages because we had water, but there are a lot of options in the refrigerator to the right when you walk in. The restaurant is small and chaotic, but the staff is friendly and vibrant. It does take about 10 minutes to get your order but they moved through the long line pretty quickly. How disappointed I was. The food was horrible HORRIBLE!!!!!! The oxtail, what little of it I got, had no flavor no taste all bones ~ nothing else. The woman that was helping me, or let me take that back, she was NOT helping ME, She was flirting with some guy that was ordering, told me that the oxtail lo mein would take 10 minutes. I decided to order from this place after seeing it every where on social media. Those reviews couldn't have been more fake. Ordered the Oxtail, curry goat with rice and peas and jerk chicken lo mein. I was not at all pleased with my food. I ordered pineapple fried rice but the rice tasted like the Goya yellow rice in the box. I ordered rasta pasta with chicken. I was given one thin strip of chicken and the pasta tasted like it was covered with BBQ sauce. Very unhappy with my first/only experience here. read more
