Steak and fried noddles with garlic and teriyaki sauce so delicious

My friends and I came here yesterday after work. It's one of our favorite places to eat. The food is always the same and good eats for the prices I can't lie. The staff is nice and always greeting. The ambiance is cool and nice nobody bothers you. Stop by to eat your eat on.

I always walk out more than satisfied. The seafood options are pretty good! It's a great affordable way to get in a seafood fix! They also have a full hibachi bar where you pick out ingredients and they cook it right in front of you. It's included in the buffet price.

I wish there were more places like this in the city. Unlimited food (including unlimited desert!) and it's all delicious! There are so many options to choose from, including a sushi bar, and a hibachi grill. They have a ton of seating and it's always busy, but the service is always excellent

Very good food and variety. The price outstanding. I believe the food is in another level because the Bronx court is in the next blo k which means a lot of people go there

I came here yesterday to eat before the Yankee game. I was very excited because I love buffets, but I have to say I was disappointed. Pro's: the dessert was delicious and had many options. The ice cream selections were from Hershey's & blue bunny. Many good options. There was also an assortment of cookies such as rainbow cookies & some sort of coconut cookie. The service was also great! Waitress was very attentive with our drink order and taking the plates away. Con's: the food was honestly not good. The Mac and cheese looked so delicious but it was extremely watered down I didn't taste any cheese what so ever!!!! The general tso chicken was not good it was all crunchy with no meat on the inside. The French fries felt undercooked and no salt or seasoning and very soggy. The only thing I ate that was decent was the chicken nuggets, vegetable lo mein, & dumplings.

Second time being here and I loved it! I had fruit for desert because I'm not a big fan of sweets so fruit is the farthest I go! Definitely wasn't a let down. The service was fine and the ambiance was busy but not busy where you didn't have room to walk around or wait long to get something to eat. The only thing I didn't like was one of the servers (people who give you refills for your drinks) to ask for a tip. She even asked me in Spanish which I thought was rude so I told her that it's rude to ask and walked away. As a customer it's my decision to tip the server. Although that did happen I still enjoy eating there and will be going again.

Sit in a party room with my family away from the food.

This place is full of discrimination, I am a deaf customer and I have a 8 year old service dog who never had a issue in any restaurant, airport, or in any public places. They assign our seat all the way in the back away from the social area where they had plenty seating in the front. I asked them why are we here, they said "we don't want your dog to scare the customer away." My family have to go all the way to the front just to get food and sit all the way in the back, this is ridiculous. Their food is nasty, food are cold, their counter top are dirty, poor customer service, poor waiter never check if we want refills. I deserve better.

    Bunch of food. Lol

I can't speak for the meat. But the seafood was not as fresh as i would thought. Crabs seemed dirty, the fish didn't taste fresh. The sushi wasn't exciting, I don't think I will be checking it out for a second time. Live, love, and laugh - SHA

The food was very Mehhhh...... Came here on a Friday night with my daughter, my friend and her daughter. Wish I would've took a picture of the prices... There are different prices for mon-Friday, Saturday and lunchtime. ONE THING FOR CERTAIN is they are going to make sure you paid even after you paid lol they ask for your receipt and place it at your table.... I would only go back if every other food option is not available.

The vibe is chill, relaxed, and very neighborhood-friendly. Even when it's busy, it never feels overwhelming, and they're usually very accommodating with walk-ins. The service is also some of the best I've experienced in Harlem. My go-to is the roasted duck, which is consistently excellent. It's cooked medium to medium-rare and comes with mango, onions, vegetables, and greens. Easily one of my favorite dishes in the neighborhood. The drinks are great too. I recently had the Nas, their take on a Manhattan, and it was incredibly smooth--one of the best whiskey cocktails I've had in a while. Overall, 10/10. A hidden gem on Lenox between 119th and 120th and definitely one of the best spots in Harlem.

We both had Brussel Sprouts, good, but the bites without the sauce did taste like bland Brussel sprouts. I had the lamb ribs, very good. They do warn you before that the ribs have a bit of fat on them, I think in the context of NY restaurant week I'm happy to pay it but as a solo entree, the amount of fat vs meat would have annoyed me. My friend had the duck, she enjoyed it. But it is very much salad with a side of duck, I believe she had 6 pieces of duck (pictured) and then a mango, arugula and onion salad. Dessert was very good, but I do hope those are not the usual portion sizes and maybe they just served smaller for NY restaurant week. Which I really didn't mind as I was full from the entree and sprouts. Servers were really nice, this place seems to have its regulars and a nice garden sitting area towards the back. Would overall recommend

We started with drinks. She ordered the passion fruit margarita and I went with the tamarind mango margarita. We were told the margaritas are made with a wine based cocktail instead of tequila or mezcal since the restaurant only serves beer and wine. We've never had margaritas made with wine before, which should have been our first clue to skip the cocktails. Unfortunately we were feeling adventurous and neither of us ended up enjoying our drinks. Mine lacked any hint of tamarind, had a subtle mango flavor, and tasted more like a mocktail. My friend said hers tasted like a tart beverage. We ordered the codfish fritters to start and they were a delicious appetizer. We shared the jerk chicken and pancakes and the plantain crusted crab cakes for our entrees. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Unfortunately the jerk chicken was a huge letdown. We were expecting authentic Jamaican flavors. As someone who grew up eating jerk chicken and has enjoyed the real thing in Jamaica numerous times, this wasn't it! I was also surprised to be served a chicken cutlet instead of an actual breast, thigh, or wing portion of chicken. We did not enjoy the chicken. The crab cakes were well done and topped with a stale tasting chip. The fried plantains that accompanied the dish were mushy. We did not enjoy this dish either. My friend ordered the housemade chocolate chip bread pudding, which she said had everything under the sun on it. She enjoyed it, but said it didn't taste like any bread pudding she had ever tasted. Overall, the restaurant's concept is cool, but not well executed. The service was good minus the delayed water glass refills. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a huge disappointment!

The pork chop arrived dry, which is hard to forgive on a cut that should be the kitchen's pride. The steak was competently cooked but unremarkable -- no real seasoning, no char to speak of, nothing that set it apart from a passable home-cooked version. For a restaurant at this price point, the kitchen should be delivering more. I'd happily come back for cocktails at the bar -- the n and the staff deserve that. Allow me to set the scene. I had a great dinner with a friend on a Saturday night near by and decided to finally pop into Cordial to see what they had for dessert. The chocolate fondue was great and the poached pear was okay, we ended up sending it back because it wasn't what we expected, no biggie tho shit happens. Upon looking around that's when we noticed one of the chefs making a disgusting mistake. He was wearing the same gloves he used to wash dirty dishes to prepare foods we and the entire restaurant ate. Not only that but he was also eating the fruits he cut with those same gloves! Did I eat the germs off someone else's plate while he was washing the dishes? Probably! It's really a shame and a disgrace to this beautiful restaurant. To top it all off the server was also taking shots on the job and seemed to get more hammered with each shot. My friend and I were looking for a place for dessert and drinks, so we stumbled into the Cordial. I ordered the prosecco, and we tried the chocolate fondue and a pear dessert. The bartender took our order; he told us that the chocolate fondue came with seasonal fruits, which he told us came with bananas, strawberries, and apples. When he gave us the desserts, the fruits on the plate were nothing, he told us. It had mango, apple, and figs (my friend is allergic to mango), so she was only able to eat only the 5 little apple pieces that were on the plate, and the figs were very mushy. The pear dessert was not so great. So I asked the bartender if he could exchange the pear dessert for more fruits for the chocolate fondue. Again, it was random different fruits; the second round of fruits was figs, oranges, and grapefruit. Cordial is small, so you can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen. With that being said, you can see one of the chefs washing dishes with gloves on and then proceeding to eat a mango with the same glove and then preparing the meals he cleaned dishes and ate with. It was so unsanitary. I just got disgusted and disappointed quickly after watching him. The sad part is that I and my friend were super happy to find a chill place to go and hang out near where we reside, but unfortunately I'm not sure I'll go back.

This is to say there is no rice like FIELDTRIP rice: soft, sturdy, sweet, savory, herby, attaches to sauce and protein and vegetables when you want it to, remains on its own when you simply want to enjoy it by itself. The plantains and greens that accompany are ridonkulous icing on the salmon sundae. If you aren't a fan of Brussels sprouts, you likely have good reasons. And, you owe it to yourself to order Crispy Brussels. Besides being cooked so they are toothsome, textured, and still sweet, they're quartered or sixthed, which makes them easier to enjoy and perfect carriers for the crispy bits that top them. I love oxtail. To enjoy this rarely served beef element in a perfectly wrapped and fried egg roll added to my adoration. After bite one, I literally unwrapped my half to see how the shredded meat was coexisting. No saucing was necessary, though the Avocado Cilantro and New Jack Sticky BBQ (both of which were enjoyed by me via spoon) would have enhanced the roll most righteously. Lastly, when you dine in or take away from FIELDTRIP, you need Nana's Bread. It is what you might enjoy if a freshly made flour tortilla, naan, pita, and focaccia met, joined, and were put through a presser. I would dip and dredge Nana's Bread in everything. Your next meal needs to come from FIELDTRIP. Period.

You can see that this restaurant is a staple to the community. My shrimp bowl I thought was delicious although it could have used a bit more rice to soak up the curry that was in the bowl. Our crab pockets were really good too. This restaurant is definitely a hit and I will recommend this particular one. I will be back! Shoutout to my server who helped me that day I don't know how to pronounce her full name but it had Anna in it. She gave what every restaurant should give. Five star service with a pleasant attitude. Two Thumbs Up! Happy Yelping!

The cornbread was fantastic and the spread on it too. The fried catfish with black eyed peas was just ok. It was tasty! But maybe I had my expectations too high. Really tasty spot. Outdoor seating was nice. Jazz inside. Friendly waiter.

She attempted to take a drink order for a group of ten without writing it down. She had to ask people their drink order a couple of times. Other than than she did a good job. We ordered from the special Harlem Week menu, which was a three course meal. The Deviled Egg appetizer with cornbread was delicious. The Sweet Potato Coconut Soup was good (I'm not a coconut fan). I had the catfish over black eyed peas plate. The catfish was good but I was disappointed to learn they didn't have any tartar sauce. The live entertainment, Amaya Knoelle and the Residency Band were very entertaining and they put on a great show! I would return here whenever I'm visiting NYC.
