I had dinner here with a large group for a friend's surprise birthday event. This place was quite large and decorated festively. We were seated in a semi private back room with a few other groups. The buffet had an extensive variety of seafood, sushi, fried foods, veggies, Chinese dishes, salad, soups, fruit, desserts, including ice cream and popsicles. I really enjoyed the steamed crab, shrimp, BBQ ribs, and grilled fish. The Crab was delightfully tender. Shrimp was nice and juicy. BBQ Ribs were succulent and well seasoned. There were a few items that were not good, such as the Egg Tart and Fried Calamari, which was rubbery and bland. There was also Hibachi grill, where you choose the ingredients and it is cooked in front of you. I selected noodles, egg, broccoli, shrimp, crab, steak, carrots, and more, paired with teriyaki garlic sauce. The meats and veggies were cooked perfectly, but there was too much teriyaki, making the dish too sweet. Desserts included fresh fruits, mini cakes, sugary donuts, tasty tarts, sweet ice cream, yummy ice pops, fudge bars, and more. Service was good. I've been here enough times to be able to give a solid review. The consistency in the taste of the food is consistent. Always delicious, & they replenish the trays fast, as needed. The food options are extensive. I've never gotten ill from eating in this place. The seafood is the star of the show! The seasoning is top notch! Instead of going to a seafood place to spend hundreds you can spend the entry and get all the seafood you want unless you want lobster lol it's worth the price The service is friendly and attentive, I don't have to chase after a waiter to refill my drink or remove my plates. They always come around to check on you. I recommend you bring cash if you want to tip, the bill is paid in the front before entering. They should consider cleaning the bathroom ever so often during service hours, because it can get pretty gross and I avoid it all cost. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the area this place is located in and the people that come here. I try to avoid coming here too late where it's more prone to getting more people. There has never been an issue or conflict before (surprisingly) until my last visit where females started arguing. It was brief and did not escalate but still a ghetto mess and I was not surprised. The difference is that this time I was seated in the middle where the area is more crowded towards the entrance. Usually I get seated towards the hibachi station and there has never been an issue there, and it isn't as crowded. I'll stick to that side next time. Also, I'm a sushi lover but I'm not a fan of their sushi. I don't like cold rice or cold sushi.. it makes sense why they have it plated on all cooler setting but it doesn't taste too good to me. Be careful when you do a to go order and pay with a debit or credit card, they will tip themselves 20% of the order without your permission. I went to get my own food, i did not sit to eat. The service here is very nice and efficient. For that I give three and a half stars. The tables are comfortable. The food is ok, mostly greasy fried and stir fried and sugary options or covered with cheese if you like all those things and limited vegetable options but they do have seaweed salad, one vegetable dish, one chicken teriyaki that isn't sweet, a shrimp with chili oil which is lighter, a hibachi grill and sushi and dessert bar with fruit and many options. The sushi was not fresh, it had been sitting for a long time. I don't know why I expect good sushi at an all you can eat Chinese buffet but it should at least be fresh. The buffet itself is bad just. They claim to have good seafood it was horrible. The hibachi grill was okay but the steak was way over cooked and they take a while to get fresh things out! The bathroom was gross no soap or paper towels. it was not what I expected but I guess that's what you get for that price. Oh also puked in the lot. Second time being here and I loved it! I had fruit for desert because I'm not a big fan of sweets so fruit is the farthest I go! Definitely wasn't a let down. The service was fine and the ambiance was busy but not busy where you didn't have room to walk around or wait long to get something to eat. The only thing I didn't like was one of the servers (people who give you refills for your drinks) to ask for a tip. She even asked me in Spanish which I thought was rude so I told her that it's rude to ask and walked away. As a customer it's my decision to tip the server. This place is full of discrimination, I am a deaf customer and I have a 8 year old service dog who never had a issue in any restaurant, airport, or in any public places. They assign our seat all the way in the back away from the social area where they had plenty seating in the front. I asked them why are we here, they said "we don't want your dog to scare the customer away." My family have to go all the way to the front just to get food and sit all the way in the back, this is ridiculous. Their food is nasty, food are cold, their counter top are dirty, poor customer service, poor waiter never check if we want refills. I deserve better. read more

Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is a solid buffet that has a variety of foods. My daughter turned 13, she hasn't been the best citizen lately but she still got a family dinner as a consolation prize. (I know, I'm a soft dad smh) At first, I thought it was a standard buffet, but when I did a real examination after my first plate of chicken wings, general tso's chicken veggie fried rice and some sushi rolls, they have the hibachi grill on demand in the back! This comes with the price of the buffet! I should have brought a bottle of champagne with me, this touch had me excited. I picked my protein, steak and chicken combo, gave the chef a lot of onions and loaded up on veggies, went spicy and garlic sauce (they also have teriyaki and another flavor I can't remember) dropped a top in the jar, then went back to my table and got busyyyyy. Now the quality of the food isn't gather the foodies level, but it is pretty decent for the price, like slightly above average, something you'd find in one of those by the pound delis in midtown Manhattan that's always packed. That's a reminder to review the next one of those I visit. Usually go to Jersey for Chinese buffet but since most closed down during the pandemic i was willing to try this one with very low expectations. Tried the noodles, rice, fried shrimp/ meat section and they all yummy & fresh. The fried dishes doesnt have that old oil taste which is a good thing. Dessert- cakes & cookies selection was hit & miss but they have store brand icecream, popsicle, icecream bar you can get from their freezer section. They also have a good selection of hot food & sushi. Did'nt try the sushi maybe i will on my second visit! Servive is good. place is busy but the waitresses are cheerful & prompt to refill. The place is spacious enough to allow 6 feet between tables & the staff wears mask at all time. But they dont check for a valid covid vaccination card, which i feel they should do for the safety of their patrons. The only turn off about this place is their bathroom!!! It's not maintained or cleaned regularly! Nobody bothers to check it because i used it 2 hrs into the opening and its already a Mess! So this review is long overdue I've come here a few times this year and I gotta tell you this is one of my favorite buffets in NYC. Food: 8/10 -They have such a huge variety of food from sushi, pizza, shrimp Alfredo which blew my mind, a bunch of fried foods including my favorite fried crab legs BRUH! Amazing! ADDICTIVE AS WELL...Warning it will have you going back for more seasoned well and tasty. -The food is usually fresh and replaced quickly. They also have a hibachi bar which you can pick your own additions that include the protein shrimp, chicken, steak AMAZING as well as sauces like teriyaki, garlic, soy sauce and I forget the other these are my go to's. -I like to end of my meal with something hot so I go with the wonton soup base then add fresh fried or steamed dumplings....the dumplings in the soup I had the first time was so soggy it threw me off. So I made it work for me. Service: 9/10 -The workers are very hard working and pretty laidback, I have no complaints Ambiance: 9/10 -Huge galaxy kind of themed restaurant, on busy days you will hear happy birthday play like twenty times lol. They have an event room and it looks like people always enjoy their birthdays or celebrations there. I want to be fair so I'm going to update my review one more time, chalking up the last experience to going on a holiday when maybe it was a one-off experience. I ended up coming back (thanks to my brother and his friend), and thought everything was good - all the standard food (chicken and broccoli, sushi, some seafood dishes, fried fish, etc) were solid and had a wide variety (besides no snow crab legs). The staff in general aren't the friendliest but check the boxes. There was a pretty decent line when we first came in but it moved pretty quickly. In general not very good quality ingredients, prepared in large quantities. Not seasoned particularly well. Highlights. Hot and sour soup was hot and sour. Some type of chicken in a skewer. That was pretty good. I tried the hibachi. The man behind the counter was game. That is to say he did his best but the meat wasn't very tasty. I can't blame him for trying. The place was clean. I've eaten at this Hibachi Grill Buffet several times, usually on week days for lunch. Today was the first time I've eaten here on Sunday. First off the food is good for a buffet. Not great but good. If you are hungry and in the mood for Chinese / Sushi it can't be beat but it's definitely buffet quality. As I said today was my first time here on a Sunday and it will probably be my last time on a Sunday. The line was out the door and there was no crowd control going on at all. At first I thought there were two lines but soon it went to one line but once you got in the door it was just a bunch of people and no clue where the line was. I got behind two people who said they were in line but soon realized we were all just standing behind a group waiting to be seated. Stanchions to clearly indicate where lines should be would be helpful. Plus I saw several groups cut the line. The cost on Sundays is $16.99 and I went mainly to see if the menu changed drastically due to the higher price. The answer is no. 90% of the food was the same as on the weekday buffet which is $11.99. The main difference appears to be more seafood ( hard shell crabs, Steamed seafood boil) but other than that I didn't see much of a difference between the two. Drinks are not included and a soda is $2 plus tax. The staff are nice and pretty good about keeping your drink refilled and removing empty plates. Made a visit yesterday after catching a flick. Was shocked to see the C health inspector rating on the door. I was hesitant at first, but I haven't eaten in 6 hours, so I ignored it. The food didn't taste as it were cooked well example the stuffed shrimp or the skewers. Some of the fried options tasted as if it was fried it old oil. My usual go to, the sushi tasted bland. Not sure if the hibachi station was open, there was usually a line, so I cannot say on that. I couldn't really muster up past 2 plates. Food was OK, not bad but not great. The only complaint I have was that everything, other than the plate itself was plastic ... forks, spoon and knife. The drinks (soda) was given in a Styrofoam cup. I get it, covid and all but kind of hard to use these utensils for food that would require a little more muscle. In addition, not sure if this location was affected by this past storm but it did have a moldy type of smell in the area I sat in.
