This are so rude....we had a party of 9.... Birthday dinner. They didn't seat us for 30 mins and we had babies too. Then, we open a bottle of juice and it had something floating in it. When I asked to have another one they argued with me that it cost $2 and wasn't going to give us another one. I told her I will not have our baby drinking this, they rudely handed me another one. Then they stood watching us to hurry us up to get out. Food was dry and the crap meat tasted weird also. Don't want to go there again. Another time we had 50 people for a family reunion our friend organized, he is older and doesn't use a computer so I am telling this .... He was talking to them and he stumbled almost fell, they all started laughing instead of helping. He is an older man... he was so upset he canceled the reservations on the spot. People think they are so nice, oh how nice they charged only half price cause a 2 yr old didn't eat. Ummmm the sign says 2 yr olds eat free. Would not come back again. I want to be fair: The food was okay and they do have a lot of options. The place is big so there is enough room for big parties. Our waitress was also very nice. But the front desk was awful!!!!! The lady at the front desk treated us so badly that ruined the entire dinning experience. I went with my family. My baby got really fuzzy and he started to cry while I was still working on my ice cream. I didn't want to disturb other people around us so we quickly put him back to his stroller and went to the front desk. While my family was paying at the front desk, I was trying to finish my ice cream. The front lady stopped me and said that I am not allowed to eat the ice cream outside of the restaurant. I was a little surprised when she said that because we never had any issue with this when we eat at Golden Corral. And once a staff even suggested us to grab an ice cream to go. But I do respect that different restaurants may have different policies. And I explained to her that we were in a rush to get out because my baby was very fuzzy and I felt bad to waste food and that's why I was eating it while walking out. Then she said I was acting very rude to eat the ice cream while walking. So I apologized several times and said that I could leave the ice cream there or step back and finish it in the restaurant. And she said it is okay for just this time. I felt really bad at the moment because I was never being accused of acting rude before and I felt very sorry to cause any trouble to other people. But then we saw another family walked out right after us and they were all eating ice creams, but the front lady didn't say anything to them. I felt that I was being treated unfairly. I didn't understand why the rule only applies to me. And I was also unhappy that this whole conversation made us staying much longer there and my baby cried so badly when we got back to our car. I know that this is probably a rare case and I regretted eating that ice cream while walking. But I felt that this is not the correct way to treat your customer. I don't think we will come back to this place again. One accusation and insult is enough for me, and too pricy for half of an ice cream. I went once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times I had a wonderful experience. Both times this was my only meal for the day, and it was certainly more than enough! Ok. A Chinese buffet that I actually liked? I know, what is wrong with me! But, this placed nailed it. The (cooked, I wouldn't try raw here) sushi was tasty, the muscles and clams were all flavorful. A very large cockroach was scurrying under our table. when we told the waitress, she came over and stomped on it and then dragging it with her foot across the floor, ( leaving guts and a leg) gathered another one that looked dead. Food before that was tasteless, meat was hard and the hibachi dish looked awful with the beef looking grey, the egg was large over cooked fried egg pieces. Wow! I usually avoid the actual buffet items at these types of restaurants, and just look forward to the hibachi. But everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The desert bar had your standard oriental buffet selections, and then some that went above and beyond! And the sushi! This is not your typical oriental buffet basic selection. They weren't labeled well, so I don't know what ones I was eating, but they look and taste out of this world. My only complaint was that allergens weren't really labeled, so that makes it hard when you're trying to confirm what is safe for kids with allergies. New buffet in town. Was excited to try it! They need some bigger, flashier signs, because it's not as visible from the highway as you'd think. This is managed by the same man from the previously closed 7th North Street Buffet in Liverpool. Restaurant isn't wide, but extends farther back into the plaza than you'd think. Tables are a good distance apart, so you're not eating on top of each other. They have a large party room off to the left side towards the front and bathrooms in the back. I like that they have more sushi options with raw fish, a hibachi grill, and packaged ice cream treats vs. a soft serve machine and/or big tubs of hard ice cream that you always question the cleanliness of. The amount of food/buffet stations seems to be similar to other buffets in the area. Their food is ok, nothing spectacular. However it did give me some stomach troubles later in the day. This place was one of the best buffets that I ever visited. Everything was fresh&tasty. They cook your meat depending on your choice and appetite. It was pretty clean, they have lots of choices for every body. The only problem was the host guy's and one of the waitresses' attitude when we wanted to choose another table than they showed us. There were four of us gathering in the open area before you get to be seated. We told the owner that there will be 6 or 7 of us, we want to wait for a few more to come. I would say this is one of the better Chinese buffet in Syracuse! It just opened not long ago and I must say, they have it going. I like the fact that they have sushi and Mongolian grill and cute ice cream cups and bars! Like actual ice cream bars! I don't think I'll ever go back here. All the front of the house people were awful. I went with a party of eight, they kept saying everyone has to be there and we all were. We talked to four different people, they all kept saying when your whole party is here we'll seat you. I went to the hibatci station, the guy took a break with out putting a sign up, when he came back he over cooked my lo mein to the point that it was hard. It also took a while before we were given any kind of silverware, we had all gone and gotten food and were just sitting at the table waiting to see if we'd get any. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 children and the owner seated us in two separate booth tables then couldn't understand when we asked to be seated at a bigger table so we could all sit together. Just this weekend. I went to flaming grill, which used to be in the old dollar foods grocery store. And I have to say the hype is nothing but corrupt. I can see maybe people love the ambience so much that they don't even think about the food. The manager is nothing but stone cold and the waiting staff, including one particular waitress was rude and rushed us to pay for the meal when we weren't done eating. In terms of Chinese Buffets in the area this one definitely deserves 5 stars! Nice decor, huge party room, spacious dining area and many food options. They have both sushi and hibachi stations. We went on a Sunday and it was packed! We never felt like it was too crowded though because it's very spacious. They were constantly putting out fresh food ranging from chicken to seafood and everything in between. I was blown away with the diversity and quality of the food. Everything I tried was very good! We are big seafood fans so we loved that they had small and large clams, crawfish, shrimp, calamari, scallops, crab legs, mussels and even raw oysters (though I love them I was not brave enough to try). Their sushi was some of the best Chinese buffet sushi I've ever seen and he was constantly making more. My husband tried the hibachi and he said it was very good. My daughter said "their food is the best!". They have many fresh fruit and green salad options, as well as many desserts. Their ice cream was all packaged so you didn't have to worry about a messy ice cream bar. They had cups of various flavors and ice cream bars.
