Yamasho is such a wonderful sushi restaurant, they have both the hibachi side and the cozy dining booth side so you have the option between where you can eat. I love their sushi, so many options! Especially their vegetarian sushi section, they have so many nice flavors working together.

Its been a while since I was here... So I was excited to go to celebrate a friend's birthday. I've eaten there but never had hibachi. They are friendly and accommodating, allowing us to bring in a cake. ( With no "upcharge or "fee") The hibachi chef was doing his "thing" and it's always so fun to watch. The onion ring of fire always freaks me out a little, lol, but I love when people try to catch the food in their mouths. The hibachi soup was flavorful and the salad had that delicious, sweet ginger dressing on it. Some of us ordered sushi as well as a hibachi dinner. The sushi was very fresh and made a nice appetizer before our meal. I got the noodles specifically to bring home, but didn't realize it had a small "extra " charge. The shrimp I ordered was a nice size portion, I could have used more vegetables but overall it was very good. The shrimp were a little"overcooked " but that's the nature of hibachi cooking for 10 people while putting on a show. The restaurant was busy but the service was very good.

Always a great time here. I went for two birthdays and once just to dine in without the hibachi experience. Everything is always tasty. The service is always friendly and attentive. The servers were quick with refills on drinks, and taking away dishes so the table wasn't crowded. It is nice and clean inside with plenty of seating and then of course the hibachi side. The chef put on a great show and included the kiddos.

This was our first time here for hibachi for a birthday. The place we usually go to we heard went down hill, so decided to try this place out. It was a nice setup as you walk in, there were regular tables and then the hibachi on the other side. We were seated and waited on quickly, the chef was wonderful and entertaining. My little one loved it. The food and drinks were delicious. I loved the ginger sauce that came with the hibachi dinner. I didn't care for the other white sauce. I'm not usually a martini person but I love lychee that was strong drink lol and the lychee flavor definitely stood out. There was plenty of food, I took leftovers home.

So delicious. One of my favorite places to order takeout from. The sushi is always fresh and full of flavor. Quick service and always packed well.

We went on a Friday night so it was a little busy . If you'd like them to cook at Hibachi table side you request at Check in station. The restaurant has very nice size booths and table a on one room and all Hibachi tables in other . We 4 were led to a large table that sat 12. A family sat in other seats across from us with cook hibachi in center. Our chef came to the table and oh what fun!! He put sesame oil on grill and the flames went higher! Beautiful . He entertained us for sure. He explained every step. Some ordered shrimp . Some tofu. Some steak. He cut up fresh veggies and stir fried. The noodles were also stir fried as was the rice . The presentation was fantastic! Some had sushi rolls that were so delish and eye appealing . There were so many choices! And then the deserts!! Most oriental places do not have the choices ! I had a cheese cake that had hard baked sides and every one else had cake bombs that had layers of choc and cake!! The prices were more than reasonable! Everything was delicious! We can't wait to go back!!!

I love this spot. I've ordered takout before but I dined in today and everything was 10 out of 10! I was impressed. Even the ambiance is top notch for the restraurant being in a strip mall. I ordered the spicy kani salad and the American dream roll which is kani, mango, avocado and salmon. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The service was SUPERB. The girls are so sweet and friendly. Definitely come here and eat some sushi!

We brought our kids here for the first time. We had a nice lunch after visiting the zoo 5 min away. Their sushi was very fresh and tasty. We ordered yellowtail and scallion, salmon and avocado, and a Rainbow Roll. The fried rice was perfectly seasoned and enough for another meal. We also shared a chocolate lava cake and mango mochi ice cream desserts. We had a nice visit with good food. Service was fairly quick.

My family usually goes to the same sushi restaurants when we go out but wanted to try something new this time. We saw that Yamasho got really good reviews so had dinner there. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is split in half, one side has the bar and dining room tables. The other side is hibachi. The bar area was also split in half. One side for drinks and the other side was for the sushi chefs. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered a few apps to share. The broiled squid was definitely very strong in flavor. My mom liked it but I thought it was too fishy for me. The kids loved the shrimp tempura although I wish there was more than 2 shrimp. Chicken wings were crispy. We got edamame on the house which were very fresh compared to other places. For the sushi, we ordered a bunch or rolls. Although they were all different rolls, they taste pretty similar. My fav was the kiss of fire while my son loved the spider roll. My mom had the hibachi which she said was good, filet was tender. My son liked his bento box. For dessert, we tried the xango cheese cake. The outside was a crispy with a cinnamon sugar coating which was delicious but I wasn't a big fan of the cheesecake filling which was surprising because I love cheesecake. It came with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. The tempura ice cream was good but I wish the outside was crispy. The tempura was very light though. Prices were reasonable and service was good. Overall a good experience.

Interior is cute, quiet and clean. They have karaoke downstairs. The tempura was good, light and fresh. The fried chicken wings - cheese were disappointing. I have ordered this type of chicken wing from other restaurants in the past and it is always a cheese type of powder the coats it. This was cheese melted on top, not even a sauce or powder,, and that does make a difference for the dish as it had no flavor. I have seen cheese melted on top of spicy wings before but this also was not that. It was disappointing especially for the price ($24.99). Overcooked and dry.

Glad I stayed. Despite its name, the sushi was so-so. Think of this place as a Korean restaurant. Almost all of the patrons were speaking Korean. The beef bibimbop in a stone bowl was great. The stone bowl was unusual in that it was very flat which created a better , I'm not sure what the right word in Korean is, crispy rice layer (what they call soccarrat with paella). There is a parking lot nearby as well as some street parking, but it's something to keep in mind before your visit. I believe they offer an all-you-can-eat special for around $27.99 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays many menu items are half off. I visited on a Thursday and took full advantage of the half-off specials. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and as other guests left, I ended up being the only person in the restaurant. Honestly, it made for a great experience. The music was a fun mix of house music and R&B, and I found myself dancing in my seat while enjoying my meal. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. They checked on me when needed but also gave me space to relax and enjoy my food. The cook also came over and talked with me for a while and made some suggestions on what he thought I would like. Amazing ! Because everything was half off, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! I ordered several different items and was completely full by my second plate. Most dishes come as small plates with two to four pieces, making it easy to try a variety of items. One of the coolest parts of the experience was the conveyor belt system. Once your food is prepared, it's sent down the conveyor belt to your seat. Since I was the only customer there, it was easy to know which dishes were mine. I'd be interested to see how it works during busier hours. I honestly can't remember everything I ordered, but I enjoyed almost all of it. My least favorite item was the sweet potato roll--it wasn't bad, just not my personal favorite. Everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth trying. Overall, I had a really good time and will definitely be back, especially on a half-off day. Great food, great music, and a fun dining experience. The fun thing is that on this particular Saturday, it was half-price Sushi which is a very affordable time to go! The sushi rolls and appetizer items come down on colored plates on a conveyer belt. You don't have much time to review the info sheet so figure out what things are before it passes you by, and you do have to eat it if you touch the plate. It's kind of a fun game to play! We enjoyed a nice lunch with fresh sushi created by the sushi chefs behind the counter, of course. It's a peaceful place to go when there's only few people in there. But, I could see it being loud if there were a packed house in there. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I ever had, but it's fun for the novelty of it for sure.

It's small but when I go I can always find a table. We like the hot tea, the milk tea, and the miso soup is very good. And the takeout is great too. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because in the last year or so I've noticed some popular rolls and dishes like chirashi and California rolls have been prepared ahead of time. They're very cold, right out of the fridge, like sushi from Wegmans. I'm sure they were made that day, and I get they're trying to save some time, especially for the labor-intensive chirashi, but you can't taste it as well when it's cold like that. So I recommend sticking with some of the special rolls. We had a couple of the new ones today after they revamped their menu and they were very good.
