I agreed, though this meant another lengthy wait and dealing with pick-up and drop-off again. The second time, the rugs were dry upon return, but still smelled strongly of urine--now mixed with an overpowering fragrance from the cleaning solution that was so intense it caused headaches in my household. I asked to speak with a manager, and Rob informed me they don't offer refunds, but could clean the rugs again. At this point, the rugs had already been gone for over two months, and I had no confidence a third cleaning would fix the issue. I declined and asked again for a refund due to their failure to meet the original guarantee. Rob said he'd look into making an exception and follow up with me. That was over two weeks ago, and I haven't heard back. The rugs have now been in my home for several weeks, and they still smell like urine covered by heavy fragrance. The agreed upon day/time came and went, and he was a no-show and with no contact. I called and got his voice mail, and no returned call. That really sucks. I hope he's ok, but I'm obviously extremely frustrated after doing all the work to move everything around from 4 rooms, and set up my cats in a place where they are safe and out of the way. This has obviously been a really bad experience, very unlike last year. Time to find a new carpet cleaning company.

I have to disagree completely with Jay M…read more I fell on my stairs carrying an open measuring cup of two cups of vegetable oil. It went everywhere. I had to wash my eyes out. Once I gained my composure, I started calling carpet cleaners at about 7PM conscious that vegetable oil goes rancid so it needed to be removed and quickly before it soaks in even to the underflooring and even beneath it where it will be impossible to clean and will eventually smell poorly. Bill is in Sherwood. He came running right away and got straight to work. He did the whole staircase. Bill custom mixes his clearing solution to the need. For me, extra-strength degreasers. This was no easy job. He worked almost two hours on one stairway. But he got all of the oil out, no stain, no odor, and no feeling of oil left at all. I'm confident that all of the oil is out and there will be no long-term issues. Now, Westside Carpet Pros' magnet is on my fridge for any future cleaning or emergencies.
