Good food, good meal deals. Only thing I hate is that all Flanigan's restaurants charge a 10% fee on to go orders. Why? It doesn't go to the staff. It goes to the company. Why should I have to pay $9 extra on my $90 order I'm picking up to go? And this isn't since Covid. This they've been doing for years before that. The policy used to be if you ordered a soda or drink to go for about $3 they wouldn't charge you the 10% fee. Not anymore. Now they charge it regardless. Very unfair and a ripoff in my opinion. I hope someone with the company reads us and realizes how stupid this policy is to the consumer. If the person at the counter preparing my order, does a great job and I wanna tip them a couple of dollars that's a different and that goes to the person that's working to put my order together. But when I'm getting charged nine dollars and a $90 order I don't wanna spend another three or four dollars tipping someone it's a huge percentage of my order. This place is great! The food was very good, reasonably priced, and we had seats right outside on the little pond. It wasn't very busy outside so it was great for a few co workers to chat, enjoy drinks, and enjoy the view. Service was fantastic! Maria was very attentive to our table and made sure drinks were full for the few hours we were there. The manager stopped over a few times as well to check on us and make sure everything was going well. My only recommendation here would be to not put the green "slime" on the Key Lime Pie dessert. read more

We haven't Ben to Flanigan's in a while. I remember the food always being good. Our experience at the Weston location was outstanding. My Wife had their famous bb ribs, and I had a burger. The food was excellent, but even better, was our bartender, Jill. She made sure to point out all the specials on food and drinks. She never left is looking for something. I've been to many Flanigan's in South Florida and this one is truly the BEST to me. :-) I really love the decorations inside and outside. Andrea was our server and she was really nice, knowledgeable about the specials on food and drinks. I ordered a slab of ribs for myself and husband to share and my husband ordered 10 wings and a pitcher of beer which the beer was free. I don't drink, but my Husband does so he had a pitcher to himself which he almost drank all of it. I don't eat chicken, so my husband had the 1/2 of slab of ribs and wings to go along with his beer. We didn't eat all of the food, so we took the rest to the hotel for later. The restaurant is really clean, the food was good and the portions were plentiful. My husband liked the ribs and wings. He said she beer was ice cold and good. I really like the set up. You can sit outside looking at the man made lake enjoying music and your dinner, sit at the bar and drink and dine, or you can dine inside and watch numerous of televisions on the walls. Lots of people were there enjoying, eating and watching the football games. As Flanigans go this one is pretty terrible. No need to go down all the various breakdowns as they all look the same and they all SHOULD serve the same food. In during a big basketball game, sitting at the bar it was like I was invisible. Impossible to get drink and they I ordered the meal deal with 1/2 rack of ribs. The Rack shows up 8 minutes later but where is my Salad & rolls? I inquire and he says I guessed we missed it, but wanted to simply skip it and leave me the ribs which I declined. Proceeds to get my salad and rolls knowing my ribs and potato are going on the warming rack even though he swores they wouldn't. When I did get my ribs and side it was ICE COLD. Somewhere in this wee wide world someone made Flanigan's BBQ sauce. The sweet, savory with touch of vinegary sauce has caused many to be hypnotized into a state of food comatose. Although the wings are fried here they come out pretty juicy, which is great. The ribs though.... wow... now that's some of the best eats in all of the menu. I've had the Dolphin fingers too and I've tried the nachos which are pretty damn big. Short and to the point: Nothing was bad, and the servers (most of them) are really attentive, but nothing is brought to you quite as you order it AND they seem to be afraid the business will go broke if they bring you napkins. The full Experience: We got there, got in the list, waited to be called (text message saying that the table is ready), and sat on our table. A very nice server came up asked for our drink orders and gave us some time to check the menu (there were a couple of paper ones, but the online menu cose is on the table). I understand this is South Florida, so we can't ask for a cold beer in an outdoor setting, but none of the five beers we ordered was chilly enough. Ordered three salmons, and two NY strips. Sides were Caesar salads and curly fries. The Cesar salads were fresh. Would have been great if not for the croutons, which didn't feel quite right. I didn't try the curly fries but I hear they were perfect. I didn't try the salmon, but overall there were good comments about it, apparently it needed a bit of salt, but I usually put that in the "plus" column: you can always put a bit more, but you can't fix a plate that comes salty. Now. We ordered two medium-rare NY strip steaks, we expected two medium-rare, or at least two medium, NY strip steaks. We got two medium-well NY Strip Steaks. As I've said before, I'm against sending back food, especially when two otherwise perfectly good steaks would have ended in the trash just because they were overcooked, so we ate our medium-well done steaks, but that is still unforgivable. We asked for napkins. The server who brought them (a different one than who was tending to us so far) tossed a plate with TWO paper napkins. Yes. For five customers. Two. And just thrown almost in disdain. Dessert. Do you have Ice-cream? No. So those who wanted ice-cream didn't order dessert. The other two ordered one apple pie (it has a different name, but that's what it was) and the brownie (it also has a different name, but it's a freaking brownie). On top of both: vainilla ice-cream. They just refuse to sell it independently. I did share part of my Ice-cream with the rest of the crowd, but WTH? I didn't try the apple pie, and by now, I didn't even ask if it was good, but the brownie was disappointing at best. It was more like chocolate-flavored sugar, it wasn't even heated, with two vanilla ice-cream scoops on top and four or five kit-kat bars. Its fun, it's pretty, but it's not a good brownie. We did point out to the server the fact that we had asked for ice-cream and she said they didn't have. She apologized profusely and clarified that the locale did not sell it by itself. Of course, we needed more napkins. The server brought enough for each this time and actually put them softly on the table. Still, why are they so scared pf bringing enough napkins? Or at least wet towels after we finish (since they refuse to give enough napkins). Anyway. Not a bad place, not a bad ambiance, but nothing really reaches its full potential. read more
