Flannigan's is always good, and some locations are better than others. This was a smaller Flannigan's which was nice. I had just read the 10 best dishes at Flannigan's in an article and they recommended the nacho chips. I have never ordered them there before, or seen it being delivered to the table. If I had I would have waited for a group of friends LOL. It was HUGE. Loaded Nachos - $11.99 -" A mountain of our crispy homemade white corn tortilla chips piled with beef & bean chili, melted cheese, pico di gallo, jalapeños, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream." They were not kidding about the mountain of chips! They were really good and only a small pile of tortilla chips n in the middle did not have chili or cheese or something on them. The chili was delicious, the cheese was still warm and the toppings were fresh and tasty. I left more than half on the plate - there was just no way to eat it all, and nachos don't keep well. So I would order them again , but only with a few people sharing it. Server was pleasant and brought things very quickly! read more

Used to go all the time........In the last year service has changed.......management not the same........They would say hello and know who you are......Dont even know the new management such a shame. used to feel like a fun neighborhood place......Lots of our Weston friends are going other places......Used to be greeted by Kevin behind the bar that has changed as well he is no longer at the bar....And lastly we would come in for lunch when working and had lunch and back to work. now it just takes to long and don't have that kind of time when on lunch.....Point being many people are looking for a new place......And that's ashame as Flanigans was a fun spot.....Not even 10 off your 30 dollar check will bring people back if the the management don't realize why people come there..... read more

Be cautious on anything that comes out of this kitchen they clearly do not follow safety procedures and do not know what they are doing. Been coming to this location for about 15 years, the last time I ever went there was 5 months ago and I don't think I'll ever go back. Ordered the chipotle chicken stack sandwich and it was so raw in the middle, i don't know how this was served to me but it was, I ate nearly the entire sandwich before i realized how undercooked this chicken was. Said something to the server and the manager came out to talk to us. They took my phone number and address down when it happened and said i would receive a call from the corporate office and that i would be invited back. Never received a call from them or anything at all in the mail, situation was handled terribly by management and I'm not sure if corporate was notified or not but they didn't bother to reach out and see if I got sick from their malpractice. Don't know what's going on in their kitchen but clearly they don't follow food safety procedures and are even worse at handling mistakes when they do happen. Terrible way to handle a really serious situation, it's a shame I won't be going back to one of my favorite restaurants because of how unsanitary they are and the way they treat loyal customers. read more

It sounds like a seafood place, but we ordered meat. Baby Back Ribs, and Prime steak. The decor is somewhere between a honky tonk and a fisherman's ornamentation. That's okay but the music is so loud it makes you want to hurry and leave. But you may come back for the food. The ribs were as good as it gets; the meat fell off the bones with delicious BBQ sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, and they even have my favorite Grey Poupon mustard. read more

I came here because I was in the area and really needed a bite to eat. I was with my dog so I sat outside at the bar. The cashier taking orders on the phone when I walked in was very very nice to me & prompted the host to seat me outside. Both of those ladies were nice and kind. Now when I went out back, the restaurant wasn't packed at all. I sat at the bar and waited a full 17 minutes without being acknowledged. Two male servers were behind the bar as I signaled them for a menu. They didn't offer a cup of water. Both of them lazily told me they'd be with me in a bit. Again, they were not busy at all. They left the bar unattended with it half full of guests also waiting on service. A couple sat down next to me after about ten minutes of me sitting there and also got up and left. I decided to do the same after I realized I had been there for so long without an ounce of acknowledgment. As I walked out, I brought it up to the cashier who had greeted me when I walked in. She tried to have me to stay and promised she would get me taken care of. She even followed me outside and apologized for the lack of service. I really appreciated that but the damage was done. The only reason they have my two star review is because of those ladies. I would understand if the restaurant wasn't busy but the two servers who jilted me as I waited on service were completely wrong for their rude and inhospitable behavior. read more

Used to be our family's favorite & a must visit. Has now become unenjoyable and on the verge of becoming a restaurant that we will avoid in the future and tell family and friends to not waste their time there. We've been eating at Flanagan's for over a decade. The location in Weston was a great spot for lunch and dinner in large or small groups. Our last two visits were disappointing. Our server went out of their way to be friendly and took our order. The food then was served incorrectly. When we were waiting for the correct meal to be served, our group was then left with some eating but not all able to. The ambiance was strange in that their music went from a feel good background set to a death metal set and then on to another variety of music. The volume also seemed to rise and fall as though it had no set decibel level, which left our group trying to communicate over the screeching vocals. Our missing food finally arrived and we took it "to-go," However, there were no utensils included with the "to-go" order. Overall, it was disappointing and our group couldn't wait to leave. I wouldn't take family or friends anymore and I'm sad to say that, as Flanigan's has been a staple in the past. I would say try a different location for a true Flanigan's experience! read more

Came to Flanigans with a large group after work and had a good meal. I ordered the terriyaki chicken sandwich and it was very good. I got it with sweet potato fries and those were amazing. We had the wings as an appetizer and they were so good. Very crispy on the outside and packed with meat. We got them medium but could not taste much heat at all. The other side of the table ordered hot and they were better and had a little kick, nothing too spicy. The staff was very accommodating with our big group although they were a little rude at first when we came in. She did well though and came around often. read more

Stopped in for lunch and ended up spending most of the afternoon due to a delayed outbound flight. Marc at the bar was fantastic! During our 5 hour visit, we tried Joe's Rockin Rib Rolls - fantastic rib meat, pork, onion, and a sweet bar-b-que sauce wrapped in a deep fried egg roll. So much better than my description- not too heavy, not too sweet. Truly tasty. After a few hours, we split a burger OMG incredible! The meat was cooked to perfection, we added bacon & cheese. The flavor of the meat was lovely without added heavy seasoning. It may be a while before I get back to Fort Lauderdale, and I'll definitely be making a stop at Flanigan's read more

Food is barely more than bar fare but costs more. Servers work hard to serve a lot of people. Ambiance is music that is too loud...who wants to listen to loud heavy metal while eating dinner!! I never post anything negative. So I'll just tell you about my experience and you can decide. We went here for supper. We waited 30 minutes sitting at the bar waiting for a table. The girl behind the bar was fine . Until we decided to just eat at the bar. We told her we wanted to order food. She said ok, gave us menus and we never saw her again. She went to the inside bar. And out came a guy who totally got everything wrong. Even when he fixed his mistakes he messes up. I'm not saying don't go there but I'm saying they can do better. And they have i think they should spend some more time training their help. If you've seen any of my other reviews you'll see I'm not hard to please. I forgive most mistakes or slow service. Had a great experience here on a recent Saturday night out with friends. Our server Paul went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal. We never had to ask for refills for anything and dirty dishes were removed right away. Food ordered was ribs, burgers, wings, garlic rolls, clam chowder, garlic roll, salad with chicken and i had the pasta salad with a scoop of tuna which was huge and enough for three meals and so good! We enjoyed a few drinks as well and took advantage of their evening Happy Hour prices. The prices for their food are so reasonable and they have great lunch specials during the week for only $6.99. This definitely isn't a place to go for gourmet food but the food they do offer is very good. I will say that I'd been to the Flanigan's in Davie and had a much different (not for the better) experience. Will definitely be back! read more
