She is incredibly convenient. She lives right down the street, and when things are good? They are great. If I manage to catch her in the right mood, she absolutely puts out. I'm talking the full treatment--triple foam conditioner, the undercarriage blast, the high-pressure rinse that leaves me absolutely gleaming. When she's on, she delivers, and I walk away thinking, "Damn, maybe we can make this work." But Christ, the mind games. Half the time I drive by hoping for a quick rinse, she's completely shut down. No warning, no signs, just a cold, dead lane and a "Closed" sign staring at me like a blank unread text. Her schedule makes absolutely zero sense. Does she care if I leave? Nope. Does she care if I go to the shiny new touchless wash down the highway? Not a chance. She knows I'll be back because she's right there, and I'm a sucker for convenience. The Verdict: It's a total pain in the ass, and I lose a little bit of my dignity every time I pull into the driveway wondering if I'm going to get lucky or get ghosted. This wash cracked my finances truck mirror. We talked to the attendants as soon as it happened and upper management and were basically gave the finger. The pricing is outrageous too, $20 for a wash just for his truck to come out STILL dirty and now damaged. A new mirror is gonna cost us well over $100. Car not clean. Middle of hood and top of car, as well as, the grill were not clean. Lots of soap residue left over. I asked if they would re-wash it, as I was told in the past they would, but they did not because I used a "free car wash" coupon from neighboring business. Manager had a bad attitude and was rude. Horrible business practices, broke both my side mirrors and cracked my side passenger mirror, on camera, mirror still inside the car wash, proof 100% that the car washb is liable, they gave me a yellow form and an email address saying email them and next week see what they say, called manager they said they can't talk to anyone and don't want to do anything or give any shit that my car is not drivable just email them and wait till next Monday: smh. I am posting this based off of my husband's experience at Flash Car Wash today. These are his words on my Yelp account. I stopped to get gas and noticed that if you buy a carwash from their on site wash service you get a gas discount. I purchased the most expensive wash plan they had only to realize when I got to the wash attendant that the gas pump purchase was for a single wash only. I then purchased the "Flash Unlimited" plan that had a monthly service to it. Before going through, the wash attendant walked around my van to do a visual inspection. She didn't report anything to me that was a concern. During the wash, both my side mirrors were getting bashed around pretty hard and I was worried that they were going to be torn off, but thankfully they didn't.  After that I went into the gas station because I was told "that is where you get a refund for the $20 single wash" that I had incorrectly purchased initially at the pump. After that refund was processed, I went out and saw the side of my van had two large areas of paint removed.  I immediately went to show the damage to the car wash manager only to be told that there was nothing they would do because "they are not responsible". I then asked for a refund for the wash since it had ruined the paint on my van, only to be told I needed to email them about any complaints and they began yelling at me to get off their property. They took my photo and threatened to call the police. They escalated the situation from 0 to 10 simply due to the fact that I was questioning why I could not get a refund. Their "manager" went from acting normal to crazy immediately. Her behavior was shocking to say the least. I was shocked that they wouldn't at least give me a refund for the wash. read more

Only go to this car wash if you want your mirrors to be broken and for them to not pay for it. The car wash ripped my mirrors back-and-forth breaking the driver side. The manager told me it was broken due to "wear and tear ". Which is so interesting to me because it was working perfect until I got out of the car wash. Such a huge bummer because this is the most convenient car wash in the area. I really wish I would've read the other reviews before coming to this car wash and paying for a membership. Short version: This car wash is grossly overpriced, the service by the employees is terrible, and it does not clean your car. I actually ended up contacting my bank to get my $17 back after the treatment here, something I have never done before. Go to Clausens on Mill Plain, they are cheaper, nicer and they actually clean your car. Long version: This happened in April but I recently had a conversation with with friend and recalled that I had never left a review for this incident. I drove my car down a short gravel road and my car was slightly dusty. I was out with my mother running errands and before a late lunch we went to this car wash. I paid the $17 and we went through the car wash. When we pulled out there was some dirt still on the window but I know its a car wash and not everything will be clean. We drive away down 164th and stop to get lunch. Leaving lunch while walking back to the car I notice how dirty the back is, it was worse than when I went into the car wash. My car is dirtier after I paid $17 to clean it. We are 5 minutes away so we go back. I pull up and the same younger man recognized me (he was the only person there the first time, and he was nice) and came up asking if everything was okay. I mentioned the back and he looked at it and came back to window and said he cannot give a refund. I said that was okay, can we just run through one more time and he nodded just as a younger women came out of the booth very angrily towards us. She had two toned hair and I did not catch her name. She went to the back of my car, came forward and said that my car was too dirty to be cleaned, and very condescendingly said she would explain it to me so I would understand. I was shocked but said I would like to run through one more time please and remove the dirt. She then said that I would need to pay another $17 to use the machine. I showed her my receipt to prove I was there 30 minutes earlier and she said it did not matter, my car was the issue and I could either pay her or leave. I have worked years in a customer facing profession and could not believe the way she spoke to us when we were being polite. She moved the cones to the left and sarcastically waved and said "Byeeeeee". The next day I ended up going to Clausens on Mill Plain and after a basic wash through them all the dirt was gone. The same dirt that the Flash employee told me was not able to be removed. Save your money and go support a better business. read more

If you want a cheap and quick car wash, this is the place to go. Not going to pre-wash your car, just get a monthly pass and go every day if you want. Free vacuum with every wash. First month was $5 !!! $20 per month afterwards. read more

The problems with this business unfortunately start at the top. Bad ownership poisons all of the businesses on this lot, all owned by the same family. The car wash damages vehicles, and through carefully crafted liability and warning signs the owners will simply point to that when it happens. The management is aggressive with customers, confrontational when it's unneeded. The abuse of the staff is also considerable. The people you see working the shifts are young, 16-19 max. Working minors past 10 pn on school nights, witholding sick leave, wrongful termination, and of course, banning anyone who quits or they fire from the entire property. I will point out the owner will then refuse to allow physical collection of the paycheck, and insist it has to go by mail (unsafe, inconsiderate and a power trip to get the final laugh at your former employees) Everyone who has worked there had a bad experience. The owner of the car wash is not even 24, her managers are younger than her. The entire family is involved in bad practices, repeatedly lovebombing employees just to show no ounce of loyalty/repayment in return They are understaffed now because of continuous management issues. Closed frequently for surprise repairs and putting staff in positions they should not be in Beware this whole lot and mostly the car wash, shit business and an utter scam run by a child. read more

We came to Flash Wash on Saturday, February 25 and paid $17 for a car wash. When we checked our car the next day as we were leaving for work, we noticed that there was still dried bird poop on the car along with other dirt still on the back of our car. I think the worker was new since he didn't even spray our car before going into the wash. I'm not even sure if we got the wash that we had paid for. When we went back today, February 27 and showed the girl that there was still dirt on the car, she asked if it had been pre-sprayed and even said that they had some new employees but that she had to call her manager to see if there was anything they could do. She came back out a few minutes later and stated that the manager said that there was nothing they could do since it wasn't the same day. There is no integrity here and buyer beware! If zero stars was an option, they'd receive it. This location that has received a lot of my business over several years just told me they will not wash my vehicle due to a bull bar with a light bar installed. I've been through this location at least a dozen times over the past year with the same vehicle as-is. The truck is not recently modified. Not only will they no longer wash this vehicle, they have lost my business on all of my other vehicles moving forward. There are plenty of other options in the area that do a fine job. We have been using them for the past two years on the monthly program. Yesterday I brought our car to the wash; they scanned the window sticker and said I no longer had the monthly plan. I showed her the receipt from two days ago, the same car, same window sticker...same charge for the monthly to my credit card. She asked for the original receipt when we signed up (two years ago). I didn't have it and was pressed for time. She then yelled at me and told me I was trying to get a free wash. Calm-I showed her the receipt and said I would pay for the wash and deal with this later as I had somewhere to be. She would not stop yelling at me. I asked them to move the sign so I could exit. She used an impressive amount of expletives. We canceled all of our cars and talked to a couple of neighbors who shared similar situations at this place. Sad. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I have used this car wash before. This time it completely bent my mirror back to where it was facing the opposite way. It was pressed into the front by the mechanical brushes so hard it dented the metal and took off paint. The machine damaged my car's alignment by the rollers not lining up my tire correctly and grinding it around the whole way through. It was not left clean and it even left multiple long scratches on the black window panel between my doors. I reached out through their website and got a, "Sorry for the inconvenience but we're not liable." I am not using this business again and will explore my legal options.​ read more

Really bad car wash with really bad customer service. First trip truck still dirty second trip my drivers side mirror was broken. I voiced my concerns and expressed I would like to talk to an owner or manager and was told they can not give out any information due to security concerns. After several more calls to (360) 254-3845 I was able to get someone claiming to be a manager to call me back and she said it sounds like you got to go thru a second time and our warranty states mirrors are not covered. (not so much as a I'm sorry your unsatisfied or your truck was damaged.) I asked to talk to someone else and was told we can not give out any information. The female working had the worst attitude I've ever had to deal with -- ever. So so so negative. I had received a flyer in the mail regarding a free car wash at Flash Wash Car Wash in Vancouver, WA. According to the flyer you had to go online to register to get their emails, etc. I did that and received a bar code for a free wash. I went to the car wash and they scanned the bar code and I was waiting for the car wash and next in line to go through the car wash At that point, an employee came over and told me I had to leave and I was trespassing and that I was not allowed on the property. I am sure the reason for this was because I am a friend of someone that the owners and manager do not like. I was not trespassing. It is a public business and I only went there to get a car wash. I was not causing any trouble; I was just sitting in my car waiting for the car wash. There was absolutely no reason for them to refuse to serve me! I did not argue with them. I used the vacuums at the facility they worked amazing I tried to use the pull vend air freshener machine and had the air freshener machine eat my change to the sum of literally $2 the price is $1.50 I went inside left a note for the car wash of how to get back a hold of me. My experience was pleasant. 2 Days later I show up to the gas station to reclaim my $2 in change the car wash attendant explained it is inside the gas station behind the counter in an envelope. I waited my turn in line got to the cashier and explain that there is an envelope with some quarters in it from the air freshener machine that was jammed a few days prior. It was at this point I was handed a $1.50 from the cash register and told to leave. I returned to the car wash and explained that I was given a $1.50 from the register and that no such envelope existed, the young asistant manager went inside to fix the issue...it was at this time the property owner of what I am now informed of is the gas station, mini Mart, the car wash, the coffee hut and the Valvoline oil change, through the world's largest temper tantrum calling me a liar and saying that quote I am trying to steal from his company because he emptied the machine and was only $1.50 worth of change stuck in the machine which I know to be false as I put in $2.00 and the man behind the counter said that envelope is clearly not yours because that's like $3 to $10 worth of change. I literally asked for the difference of the $0.50 not that I needed it but out of principal and I got screamed at cussed at and called names in front of all of his customers at the car wash, vacuums, and at the gas pumps where he told me that I am going to be trespassed from his property... mind you this is also a growler fill station my local gas station my local car wash and my local oil change facility that I use multiple times weekly. The owner of this property is very hostile and unprofessional. I would say that this facility is overpriced and to save yourself a headache of poor management and potential damage to your vehicle to steer clear of this general complex as a whole. read more

Flash Wash - Poor Business Practices. I received an email this morning sent at 9:36 AM from the car wash at the Sinclair Station (16320 SE Cascade Park Drive), inviting me to join them in celebrating their new grand opening. I opened the email at around 1:00 today and discovered that it included a coupon for a free car wash. When I presented the coupon this afternoon the attendant indicated that it expired yesterday. I noted that this was interesting in that the coupon was very clearly sent out today. He responded by saying he would ask his manager about it. The manager insisted that they did not send the email today and refused to even look at the email. The manager treated me as if I was attempting to scam them and demanded that I leave. After exhibiting considerable belligerence she stormed off to summon the owner. Rather than taking a more conciliatory approach, the owner was even more rude than the manager and threatened to call the police if I did not leave the property. I certainly will not return to either the Flash car wash or, for that matter, to the Sinclair gas station. I'll go to another car wash and gas station that value customers and treat them with some measure of respect. read more
