Rocket Wash is overall great! This review is based solely on Rocket Wash's automatic "Exterior Only" car wash, and not their full interior or detailing services, which I hope to try once the rainy season is over. I came in for an exterior wash and was promptly greeted by a very friendly, professional, and helpful attendant who asked what service I wanted (they offer three levels of wash, priced at $8, $12, and $15). I asked for a recommendation, and he said that with all the rain this time of year, I probably wouldn't see the benefit of the $15, and recommended the $8 or the $12. I opted for the $12, and was extremely appreciative of his honesty and not just trying to charge me as much as he could. He was able to take my card payment right there on the spot using a portable card reader / receipt printer, which is very reassuring and makes for feeling more secure than if he'd had to take my card inside the building. I also very much appreciated his clear directions for where to go and what to do after payment was rendered. I was very pleased to be given two individually wrapped and labeled interior wipes: one for the dashboard, and one for glass. The dash wipe was very effective, but the glass wipe left a residue (I used it on the interior when I got home). The car wash itself was very surprising and fun! Halfway through, you're treated to bright, multi-color illumination that makes the foam on your car intensely glow one neon color at a time. This literally made me laugh, and was truly enjoyable. I also extremely appreciated the red, flashing 'Wait", and then the green, flashing "Go" sign at the end of the wash. This is much clearer and easier to follow than what most other car washes have. The dry station has many (what appear to be) rubber nozzles that get much closer to your car than any other I've ever experienced. I suspect that these were designed to get the car dryer than conventional designs do, but the glass didn't seem to be any dryer afterward than others. The only minor disappointment was that my car wasn't as clean after the wash as I'd expect it to be. I had to manually clean my side mirrors, a small area on each side window by the mirrors, and a section of the right side of my windshield after I got home. I'm sure that this can be fixed, and I'm looking forward to my next flashing colored light car wash! One final plus is its location makes it very easy to get into and out of. Despite it being located right on the busy Mill Plain Blvd. ingress and egress is easy and fast. read more

Summary: Don't waste your time and money for subpar service. I had pretty average experience with Rocket Wash in the past but, decided to visit them again since I really was on a time crunch and didn't want to vacuum my car. I chose the "basic" package which was suppose to include the console. After getting my vehicle back, I noticed that the center console, which is still the console was not even touched. Rather than pulling the individual back from vacuuming another vehicle I decided to just write about it. It would be one thing if it was just this one time but there has been at least two other times I have had to point out that the console is both the top and the center. Anyways, I would save yourselves the $25 dollars and spend half of it somewhere else and vacuum your car yourself because this place is over priced and the attention to detail is slim to none. The rollers had gotten stuck as my car was under the big long draping brush and in front and behind the big large spinning brushes. I sat in the car wash for at least 2 minutes as the manager Chris said as he saw in the video footage. I was in there far longer than 3 minutes with little water movement and brushes constantly spinning as I honked the horn. They claim that it is too loud to hear anything inside the actual building and apparently nobody was watching the video footage either.(I walk in to the front desk to see a phone on YouTube running and headphones plugged in. So literally he couldn't have heard me anyway..... As I sit there honking one of the staff see me and start to try and I jam the rollers but didn't cut the rollers off. Later the other worker lady said she heard something which is why the guy walked out. He told me that. Now the next day comes by the car is still half washed to show the "direction" of the damages. They say it isn't consistent with how the brushes are. That their brushes would never do damage to any cars. And how my scratches are just deep single scratches. But mind you these scratches were not there these dings were not there. They claim long term experience in the industry but just brush it off as it isn't possible they could ever cause damage this way. Long story short after arguing with the manager and the owner it was just a complete run around. No accountability from either one. Because both their hands are tied and they're not responsible for damages. The owner disregarded all I had said and resorted to saying everyone in the PNW car get dirty and they don't know what happens to their car. I'm not even from the pnw. As I showed up today their rollers broke down again with the car just starting the wash so the front of the car was on the large brushes again this staff did not cut the brushes off as it is normal for them I HAD TO YELL AT THEM YO CUT THE BRUSHES OFF AS THE MANAGER FIXED THE ROLLERS AGAIN. They also told me the scratch in the middle of wheel came from curb rash but the rubber on the wheel shoes no evidence of any curb rash as I have never curb Rasheed this car in the short year I've owned the car. The car is a 2020 purchased at the end of 2021.I had asked to view the footage I was told I didn't have permission from the owner. I then talk to the owner (who is in California so he isn't present and is hard to reachmanager doesn't give out number so you can only speak with him while he is there before 4 which I don't get off until 4:30 so ofc he didn't see it happen personally )he says they can't review the footage yet as they don't have access to it.(LIED)he won't let me watch the footage of my car being damaged. I did not record the actual incident as I was literally shocked nobody came to help me for more than 2 minutes of honking. I tried to get their insurance information to file but they refuse to help me and only explain that it couldn't happen at their car wash. DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND THERE IS A BIG POT HOLE AS YOU LEAVE THE DRYING PART WHICH COULD ALSO DAMAGE YOUR WHEELS. The professionalism is not there they just said I understand, I understand. But... that can't happen with those brushes. These brushes this.. etc... totally shot down everything I had to say by then he and Chris just decided my damages were done prior to entering the wash. But they seem to not realize the position my car was stuck with my rear fender up close against the brush system. Ofc it doesn't damage other cars other cars ARENT STUCK FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES. Needless to say I'm pissed I tried to keep my composure but being passed back and forth about how it can't possibly happen and that I had it all prior from both Chris (manager) and Miguel (owner). I came back and I'm still disappointed! I understand that Saturday is a busy day butFor $50, I expect my car to be cleaned. This is the only place that I know of in Vancouver that does interior AND exterior cleaning. I wish the quality was there. I'm just unhappy with what I'm leaving with. *** UPDATE as of 9/16/20 ------ I've been a loyal customer since my last review. It's really hard finding a car wash that does both exterior and interior around Vancouver so I stuck around. I've been very observant during my trips. There is a couple of specific team members that do an excellent job. I really enjoy when they handle my car and get disappointed when they aren't working the time I go there. I understand that the kids are working hard, but they do need to pay attention to detail. Also, don't be afraid to let anyone of the team members know if something wasn't cleaned or if they missed a spot; especially if it's a busy day for them. They'll happily do so. Prices have increased so to get my money's worth, I signed up for their member wash. They usually have promotions like one month free. As others have mentioned, their washing machine isn't the best at cleaning vehicles. The bright side is, you can join their membership and wash your car once more that same trip I come here so often, my favorites already know me and my usual (ultimate + mats) and it's hilarious! The owner reached out to me about my experience. He was very willing to make things right. So the next morning I took my car in for it to be redone. They did a very nice job. I noticed another patron from the previous day getting their car redone as well. Seems for best results just pay the $5 bucks to have the mats cleaned. All in all as long as the team continues to be willing to right their wrongs, things will get to a place where they run smoothly and quality will get better. I look forward to bringing in my other car for cleaning. It's not a bad price. And y'all please tip these kids. read more

I took my car through the car wash it completely suck the top of my antenna cover off my car, it was screwed down by five screws I reached out to the owner who I never got a chance to speak with him but had someone call me back to tell me that they have signs of signs that no one can see because they're not in the area of the drive-through car wash they're off to the side of the state they will not be fixing any damages to your vehicle so if used car wash you'll be using it at your own risk because the shady man is not going to fix the damage that his car wash causes to your vehicle read more

Came here at 10:15am on 3/18/22, pulled up, noticed the wash was cycling but no open sign on. Pulled up anyway, minute later an employee comes out, I ask if they're open, he just turns around and looks at the open sign, walks up to the window, NEVER says anything, so I just go ahead and ask for the "rocket wash." He walks toward the wash so I pull up, he scrubs the drivers side fender then switchs and does most the passenger side, I go through the wash, park where they usually hand dry the car. No ones there, wait a minute and since no one came I pulled away. Used to be a top notch car wash, but now for a partially scubbed not dried car you can go to KADDY car wash for the same results at half the price and use their vacuums. I use to come every Friday but it's just getting worse and worse. read more

I can excuse the slow - very slow - process. It was a Monday at lunchtime, hardly any business and very short on staff. It's early March, it will probably rain again before the day is out, and I can't fault the staffing decision. What I have a problem with is twofold. First, the employees apparently don't know what is supposed to be included on the various menu choices, and second, the quality of the "wash." For $15 (Exterior only, "Rocket") I don't expect a detail-quality wash job, but what I got was below what the dealer does for free! The "towel wipe" pretty much skipped all the brightwork so it still had a film of dirt on it, the "wheel cleaner" didn't appear to have done anything except the driver's side, and the "tire shine" pissed so much on the passenger side when I got home it was still dripping and running down the rim (pictures attached). When my car came out, the "dryer" waved me to a spot in front of the office. When he told me he was done, I asked "what about the tire shine?" He didn't know, so went to ask someone working by the vacuums. He came back and directed me over there. I went, parked, and waited...and waited. Two people were working on the adjacent car. Eventually a third person came to me and said "we're ready to start on yours," apparently thinking it was a full service. I said mine was exterior only, which prompted him to ask, "then why are you sitting here?" I reiterated about the tire shine. He looked at the driver's side tires and said, "That's done in the wash. They're shiny, look at them." That set me off, admittedly, seeing as how apparently the rest of the staff didn't know that. I said "forget it," started the car and left. When I got home, I took a closer look at all four tires. The left side didn't appear to have had anything applied at all. They looked just like they did this morning, except the rims were fairly clean. As I mentioned, the right side was dripping. I was concerned it might be hydraulic fluid instead of "tire shine" so I cleaned it myself. I don't know if it was or not, I just didn't want to take a chance. I think I'll save $3 a wash and go back to Kaady. They only offer exterior, which is fine with me, and it's equally as good as what I got today. read more

Terrible! Car was cleaner before I ran it through the wash! They need to invest in better equipment-Leaves soap all over your vehicle once finished with the wash. Leaves residue all over your vehicle once finished. Employees are disengaged, on cell phones, more interested in talking with one another than taking care of their customers. This wash is full service - which means that the interior is vacuumed and wiped for you (level of thoroughness depends on the wash you purchase). It's a good deal for $50 versus a $300 detail especially if your car isn't extremely dirty. I understand it's not meant to be perfect but for $50 it does the job that I certainly don't want to do myself! Also this wash is recently under new ownership so I expect to see some changes in the future. read more

Great to finally see a full service carwash in the area. Despite reading other reviews, I thought it deserved a try. Unfortunately, I was initially going to give 2 stars, until I saw the final product. Other reviews were right; it's a bit inefficient. Check in took about 10 mins. The attendant runs back and forth to take your order and again to grab your free car scent. She was too busy to keep track of which cars arrived first (there were only 4 of us in total). I picked the mid level package for $40.99. Exterior wash was good; no complaints. However, for nearly one hour, a rotating team of 6-8 people worked on my vehicle. Upon completion, neither the floor mats nor the seats had been vacuumed. The dashboard, door wells, arm rests, cup holders had not been wiped down. On the plus side, carpeted areas were vacuumed, wheels were clean, windows were spotless. Overall, it was disappointing. I'm all for gainfully employed young people, but the team consisted of primarily late teens/early 20-somethings that spent a bit more time jabbering than cleaning. For the price, time involvement and quality- I'd skip this place until things improve a bit. read more

Paid $50 for the full service car wash only to leave and find soap streaks down the back of the car and front doors. Called and talked to Jose who said bring it down. That was followed by the cheapest wash you can get and it's just the way your car was designed. The only good part of the whole service was the vacuum job. read more

I was skeptical to go since I read some of the previous reviews but it was one of the only full service in Vancouver so I decided to give them a try. I have to say I'm very please and would recommend. I enjoyed the fact that you could choose different levels of service for both interior and exterior. The exterior wash was good but I have to mention the level of detail they went into on the full works interior. We have a blonde dog that sheds like crazy in a car with black interiors. The car smelled new & clean like an animal had never been in it. The staff was super friendly and we will definitely go back. read more

On two occasions when I went there and purchased the same car wash attendant on duty did not give me the towels or dash wipes. Paid to have the tire walls cleaned, the car wash did a very poor job. Used to be a great wash but since moving to new management it's unfortunate but it's now lacking . Showed up one day an hour before closing and they told me I couldn't have an interior was because there weren't enough workers. Showed up next day at 11 and was told it would take an hour to do a simple interior wash. To add insult to injury trying to get someone to provide change is like moving mountains. The manager with long hair and baby mustache has little to no understanding of customer service and doesn't feel accountable. Overall major capacity issues. If you're ok waiting 90 minutes for a decent wash... this is your place. I'd skip it. Zero customer service or desire to do a good job based on my two experiences. read more

Very disappointed. I used to come here at least once a month for a good exterior and interior cleaning. The quality of the service there has plummeted. I got my car cleaned today; I paid 50 for the ultimate cleaning. I made it a point to tell the person doing the cleaning to please get between the seats. When I got done there was dirt and crumbs between the seats that I could see and the cup holder has dirt in it. When I complained I was told that that level of clean required the expensive detailing service. If you said on the board the 50 service does vacuuming then DO vacuuming or take that off the board. Will be going to Kaddy Wash next time. read more

I've been here few time before... but today I came back from a muddy trail and pulled over to get a wash. Chris welcomed me and gave me the best customer service I can ever ask for. I was so happy for his excellent customer service, he hand wiped every inch of the car, never seen someone loves their job so much. He told me that after work, he is looking forward the spend time with his 4yr old and may be done shopping tomorrow. I've had zero good experiences here. Always seems like I'm interrupting play time for the employees anytime I pull up. I end up using them in a pinch sometimes because it's super close to work, but I think I'm done now. Waited 5 minutes (with 1 car ahead of me), only to hear the employees talking to each other about a water pump being broken. I come out the other end and my car is still COVERED with soap. So they took the wet towel and just rubbed the soap in. I got the thumbs up to leave and my side mirrors were still covered in soap & I asked the guy to wipe it one more time and he huffed and just hit the towel against my mirror and walked away. Got back to work and parked and there's still soap everyyyywheerrre. Opened my back hatch and found even more soap. (see pic) Pretty much spent $9 on soap and ended up washing my own car. read more

Just went through for the first time. I got the rocket wash which included the undercarriage wash and towel drying. I like the hands on beginning of the wash, the auto scrubbers flipped my side view mirrors so they might be a little intense. I didn't receive a towel dry which is actually pretty damn annoying as there was still soap on my mirrors and rear window. So I had to get to a place where I could finish rinsing myself. As I write this review I am getting a touch more annoyed at that fact and have changed from a 3 star "meh" to a 2 star "yeah not doing that again". read more

Saw pictures that someone posted of how dirty their car was AFTER being detailed. Mine the same. Inside windows NOT cleaned. Very poor vac job. Door hand pull had old napkin and dirt under it. I watched them work and it was an amazing sight. A group of people ambling slowly between all the cars hitting on each car a minute or two then leaving then coming back then leaving. It wass stupifyingly amazing to watch such slow motion buzyness but very little actual work. My car was not very dirty in first place. Just needed a good vac and inside windows cleaned .. just mostly time debree Very minimal. AND it took over an HOUR. What a waste of time and money. read more

The worst experience possible!!! I have been a long time customer and will never go again! I purchased the "Ultimate" package because my car was in in desperate need of a post winter bit of love. When I went to get in my vehicle the floor mats had not been cleaned. I pointed it out to the technician and the response was "mats cost 2$ each to be cleaned. This is a first. So I went to the manager and got the same response. No where is there any signage that states that and the person checking me in did not mention it. I paid for the deluxe wash which was far from deluxe! This is the 4th time I have been back since the ownership changed and everytime I am disappointed and end up at home still touching up my car. Out of stupidity I not only paid for the wash but but a $5 tip when paying as I did not have extra cash. Wish I had looked at reviews before wasting any money here. Paid $43 (included tip of $5) and might as well of just lit that money on fire. Horrible wash. The biggest reason I went there to get the inside windows cleaned and they were barely done. I wish I could photograph it.. also, cup holders not vacuumed out, center radio display not cleaned and bugs still on windshield.. I even complained and they sent me ONE POINT toward my free wash.. I waited an hour to go through the was and cot my car back not exceptionally clean - I went to the cashier to get change for tips and it took her 3 minutes to open the cash drawer (no kidding0 and then she didnt have the right change anyway. I was so excited to see that Rocket Wash had opened. We had stopped going to the previous car wash at that location because of horrible service. I have been to Rocket Wash once, with horrible service, car not cleaned all the way (wasn't even toweled off until the car was already dry), interior not totally cleaned after asking staff to wipe cupholders, etc. after it was done. My husband decided to try it today, paid over $40 to have his vehicle go through the was and the mats were cleaned. He was told twice his vehicle was done, when he explained no-one had touched it, both staff just walked away to another vehicle. Over priced, underwhelmed. read more
