Went in only to get a trade-in value and left with nothing but wasted time. The young salesman tried to push a car sale instead of providing the information I asked for. He went back and forth to consult his manager several times, which only added to the delays. The experience felt overly sales-driven and suggested a dealership culture that prioritizes pressure tactics over straightforward customer service. I never received the simple information I came in for -- not in writing, not verbally, and not even for the car he was trying to sell me. A follow-up was promised for the next day, but it never happened. Disappointing experience and not a dealership that values your time. read more

EDIT: After noticing my review, one of the managers reached out to get me back in for my first service on the house. He was surprised the original employee didn't reach out to the manager for the complimentary service. I appreciate the manager for trying to make this right. My dad bought a brand new car here out of my recommendation. I told friends to after as well. Why I give this place a one star is because the salesman never told us that the first oil change is free (only before 12 months or 12,000 miles, which ever comes first). So we had already changed the oil before the internet told revealed that every new Honda purchased comes with a first free oil change. I show up to the service appointment only to be told my secret offer was expired and that I'd have to pay out of pocket for the oil change. Great way to lose a customer. read more

Ahh Where to start We live in a world filled with deceptions and lies - and sadly this standard is now seen in many businesses of today's world. Including this dealership. I am not like a typical buyer- I research similar vehicles, look for the KBB values - and then begin an email price to negotiate a GOOD KBB value before going in. So I found a car at this dealership and went back and forth with salesman DONALD. I told him the specific amount of cash down we had - and how much we were willing to finance for the particular car I found. I also asked about the tires... "How much tread is left on your touring?" I had told Donald "Unless we can agree on a GOOD KBB value it will be a waste of our time in driving up there." And I gave him our cash amount and what we would finance. "If we like the car we would do $xxk cash and like to finance $xx,xxx" Donald replied back (excluding the question on the tires) "I will see about getting a x,xxx$ discount for you to get to your ××,×××$ number ... we can proceed" I set a time (including "IF WE CAN AGREE ON THE $XX,XXX) and he responded back it could sell before then - it appeared as if we had a price agreement - he said "we can agree on our price of $xx,xxx" So we got up early and traveled 2HOURS to this dealer expecting an agreement - pending if we liked the vehicle. We get there and find DONALD, who I had been corresponding with was replaced by another salesman. Ok. So we look at the car **TIRES NEED REPLACING**... now I know why Donald failed to respond. That would be an additional $1000. Then when we sit down he shows us the original mid-fair KBB price they are asking. I told him that is not what I agreed on with DONALD. So he gets up to go talk with his manager **PRIOR TO LEAVING HE WANTS US TO SCAN OUR ID'S AND ADD OUR PICTURE IN SOME APP** -- **HE ALSO COMES BACK WANTING TO RUN OUR CREDIT -BEFORE- WE AGREED ON THE PRICE!!** We did neither... I told DONALD (via emails), and this new salesman, and their finance guy who came out to show us comparables--**I HAD ALREADY DONE MY RESEARCH ON SIMILAR VEHICLES IN THE AREA, AND KNEW THEIR KBB VALUES WERE HIGH or mid-high FAIR range...and I WAS LOOKING ONLY FOR KBB GOOD VALUE** .... otherwise we would never have wasted our time getting up early and driving over 2 hours They must deal with a lot of idiots ... they kept the vehicle at their high FAIR value ... they did not honor the word of this salesman DONALD, who they said was there (so their word is meaningless as a business) ... they tried swapping the price to what I asked for **but then TOLD US WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR A BUNCH OF ADDITIONAL CRAP ADD ONs _ to keep the price at their asking price** ... then they come out again with our asking price **but they TACKED ON OVERPRICED RIDICULOUS FEES to keep the price at their price** I had to more then once inform them of the agreement I made with this DONALD and of the research I do. In February, we had the pleasure of working with John Pazeotopoulos to find our 2025 Honda CRV Sport-L. 2 weeks ago I went in to Dick Hannah and had the transmission fluid changed on my 2014 Honda CRV with 59,000 miles. When I picked up my car the service manager told me the rubber covering my timing chain was melting and leaking. He said for $3500 they could replace and repair it. I thanked him and took my Honda to A and B repair service on 4th plain. They checked it out and said there was no problem. No repair needed. Thank goodness I got a 2nd opinion!!! read more

Very shady business. Sales is almost eniterely young women (which is 100% fine) but you can tell they're playing the "I don't knowwww if I can do that let me ask my manager" game of telephone. They take forever to make it feel like you've invested too much time NOT to buy/sell with them. Insanely overpriced, low-ball assessments on used cars, try to flirt with you to get you to buy their cars. Again, overall a very shady style of lot. We had a dodgeball do over literally. We bought a lovely red dodge van but it just wasn't right for me so 3 days later we exchanged it for a silver Toyota Sienna that is just right. We got taken care of through out both purchases with excellent caring staff in all departments it was a relief because I H A T E. Buying cars. I was not stressed about the purchase of the first or second van. My husband and I are both handicapped and are in need of help with our car accessibility so truly we never felt like we were in danger of not getting what worked best for us. No...no....NO! I brought my CRV in for its B167 routine maintenance. The service agent gave me an estimate of.....wait for this....$582. FIVE HUNDRED and EIGHTY-TWO dollars. Are they crazy? I jumped back into my car and sped away. After calling around I found Stirling Honda in Longview offering this exact service for $288. Did you see that? THREE HUNDRED dollars cheaper. Yesterday I drove 45 minutes to Longview and it was true. They drove me to Red Lobster so I could have a nice lunch while they did the work. After lunch they picked me up and drove me back to the service center where my car was done and ready for me. I drove back home thrilled to have had a good day out and saved $300. Sadly we won't be back. Our van has Been serviced here since purchasing it in 2013. We needed an oil change and called to inquire what the price would be. They looked up my vehicle by name and phone # , quoted me $79 + shop fees and tax..suggested i print out a $10 coupon available online. When our appointment time came, the service attendant said it would be $99+ all the fees and they would not honor the coupon (because we had just had a tire rotation and didn't need it again). We Attempted to get the price quoted, but the service attendant was adamant that she was right and would rather lose a long term customer, than to make the situation right. We left!! Easy, no pressure sales staff. I have purchased a Honda from this dealership years ago when they were located in downtown Vancouver. The new (to me) location is quite impressive. From the sales floor to the Service waiting area, the amenities are comparable to those seen at some luxury dealerships. And, during the entire sales process, we were treated with respect. If I could give them a zero, I would. This is the sleeziest dealership I have EVER dealt with. Every time I deal with their disgusting people, I feel the need to go home and take a shower afterwards! I took my car in for an oil change/tire rotation today, that's all. I have a 2021 Honda CRV with 18.000 mile on it. I booked my appointment online. In the comment section, I explained that my service engine light had come on. The manual indicated that it was due for an oil change/tire rotation. I also explained that my ONLY son had just died a few days ago, and that I needed to drive to southern Oregon to pick up his ashes this weekend. I asked for them to PLEASE not try to "upsell" me, as I am a GRIEVING MOTHER. I'm just trying to keep it together. I specifically said, "if it's not a major safety issue, or unless you just want me to have a MAJOR MELTDOWN in your dealership, PLEASE, PLEASE just don't." What's the first thing they do? They start rattling off some crap about my brakes and some other things they said that I needed done. I found this VERY hard to believe since this is the 3rd time I've had it serviced, since I bought it brand new, each time costing $$$ "Is this a safety issue?" I asked. me and my mom went to get a Honda crv exl 2019 trading in a 2020 Kia soul. Pulled up and one of the workers helped us, she told him our budget blah blah found the car that "fit the numbers" so, she test drove it and decided it good enough speed. So we went inside and started figuring stuff out right, then since she was kinda "upside down" in the loan they gave us a high monthly price for a car that's older than the one we were trading in!! Anyways after they got the numbers figured out "still 100 dollar more car payment) we took it home and it INSTANTLYstarted throwing "low tire warning" so we aired it up no problem then it did it again 3 MORE DAMN TIMES like wtf.. tires have patch marks !!! One of the key fobs dosent work either! It's missing a button and it's practically falling apart. Went back to the dealership and talked to the sales person to see if they could fix it. I scheduled an appointment with Richard to look at a Jetta. He confirmed he would have it ready for me to look at and that he works 9-5. He also emailed me to let him know if I was running late. When I got there I waited for someone to find him, then waited ten minutes for him to "grab his folder." When he got back he told me the car wasn't brought to the dealership and how he didn't know because he had just gotten there (it was noon.) I drove over from Hillsboro and he asked if I could come back the next day or wait "maybe an hour" while they brought it over. Not apologetic or remorseful at all. Had he been a little kinder maybe I would have but he seemed rude and arrogant. I should tell him if he's running late but he wasted my time. I bought a new CRV-Hybrid from Dick Hannah Honda in Vancouver. Shortly after I got home, I realized they had not provided a spare key. When I called, the salesman told me I would have to come in person to have the spare key made. I scheduled a 9am meeting and drove the half hour from my home to arrive on time. After waiting 10 minutes for the salesman, he came in to inform me that the managers were in a meeting and we would have to wait till they were done to get the required paperwork signed off. "How long will the meeting take?" I asked. He couldn't answer. Forty-five minutes and several threats to walk out the door later, they finally got it together enough to authorize my spare key. I then had to take the car to service and wait another hour and a half to get the key produced. I wasted an entire morning because a) the salesman initially neglected to provide a spare key b) no one was prepared for me at the appointed time and c) I was forced to wait while the salesman and managers dithered. There was never an apology, never an offer to compensate me in any way for the inconvenience they caused me. Dick Hannah's motto is: "We believe in nice." Rachelle M. is such an awesome service manager. I hope you keep her happy as I am pretty sure customers like me appreciate her attention to detail and organization. She is actually one of those that care for the customer and is always on top of things. Whereas there is one service manager that needs more to do. Interesting thing is I had come at the very last day in July to get my car wash card for July. I then went again to get my carwash card for August and this guy comes up to me asking me "Weren't you just here last week?". It's interesting because I think he has too much time on his hands to notice customers that didn't have any direct contact with him or maybe I just stand out because of my race? Either way, he's not busy enough if he can pick individuals out of the crowd and know when they have come in considering I'm sure you do a lot of business with a lot of people. I don't recommend this service department because my service advisor Hollie is extremely rude, I was in to pick up my car after a factory warranty defect and all I got was "I'm on the phone". I had a question about my service contract and never got a straight answer from anyone over a cracked windshield. Dick Hannah Honda got my info when I checked my car's value on Kelly Blue Book. On Kelly Blue Book, I had checked off that I was interested in purchasing a Subaru and selling my old vehicle. So when I got a call and text from someone who claimed to work for the "Dick Hannah buying center" I assumed that it was the one affiliated with Dick Hannah Subaru. I set an appointment, they asked if I had the address, and I looked up the Subaru address and sent it to them. They said, "As a point of reference, our office is located inside the Dick Hannah Honda building" and proceeded to give me the address to Dick Hannah Honda. To me, it sounded like the buying center was its own separate entity, and that it was easier to find using the directions to DHH. As my car's value was being assessed, I was introduced to a salesman. I said that I was interested in looking at a few cars, but I was pretty set on a Subaru. I said I was open to looking at new and used cars, but I did want to look at some new Subarus. The salesman strongly implied to be working with Subaru as well. He made it seem like both Dick Hannah dealerships were affiliated with one another. He even went over to Subaru and grabbed a couple cars for me to test drive, so I had no reason to think otherwise. I thought I found a vehicle I liked, but when I compared the pricing to what was being offered at Subaru, it made no sense. I insisted that it would make more sense to get the special interest rate on a brand new Subaru, then the 2024 model, because it would be cheaper in the end. He wasn't respecting my wishes, and continued to tell me the highlights on the "upgraded" 2024 model. I told him I didn't care about the upgrades, and safety was my number one priority. At this point, my 17-month-old was getting hungry and cranky, and I was already 15 minutes late for dinner plans so I had to leave. My husband stayed and spoke with the salesman. I kept trying to get him to leave and meet us at dinner, but the pushy salesman was not allowing it even when he said we wanted to take a day to think about it. Having not eaten all day and being basically held captive, my husband reluctantly signed the paperwork. I wasn't very happy with the salesman's approach, and I was confused as to why he wouldn't let me see any new Subarus. Never once did he claim to be affiliated with Honda and NOT Subaru. So we ended up with the 2024 model, even though I wasn't crazy about the "upgrades." A day and a half later, the vehicle started having problems. It stalled at a traffic light and an error message popped up. I wasn't able to start the car again for about a minute. The next day, the car wouldn't start in the driveway and a bunch of error messages popped up. I was so frustrated because I specifically asked the salesman if it had been inspected and if it had any known issues or recalls--to which he claimed that it didn't. Again, the following day, the car stalled not once but TWICE during the same drive home. One of those times, an ambulance was behind me and I couldn't move! I was very distraught because this was now a safety issue, and at 6 months pregnant I didn't need the extra stress of an unreliable vehicle. The paperwork stated that we had 5 days to bring the car back if we weren't happy with our purchase, so my husband brought it back by the 4th day. When he told them he wanted to return it, they brought him to the side so that other customers couldn't hear, then refused to honor the return policy. We ended up having to go to Subaru to trade it in for a new vehicle and pay DOUBLE the taxes and fees. Honestly, Dick Hannah Honda should be investigated. Your employees committed fraud to obtain my business, and then refused to honor a return policy when I was sold a faulty, unreliable vehicle. read more

Dick Hannah is a has horrid custome service. They can off these great give aways, but yet can't seem to have the resources to collect my dead father vehicle. He was a veteran living off his pension and their greedy salesmen put him in a co tract that was more then half his monthly income. His credit card limit was $750. Clearly they care little about who they are leasing to and what they can actually afford. I am next of kin and trying to get this vehicle returned less than 20 miles away and instead of being a stand up organization and rising to the occasion they referred me to the Toyota corporate head quarters!!! They allowed me to still drive all that way knowing this. They acted shocked when this discovery was made. It is 48 hours since I drove that car & they haven't corrected their error. I bought a new car from this dealership back in July -- I wanted a test drive and this was the dealership closest to me with the car I wanted on the lot, but I also needed to pull the trigger by that weekend due to some upcoming changes in my life. Despite being very happy with the car I bought, remembering my sales experience still gives me so much anxiety and dread. It's now time for me to get my oil changed, and even that is giving me so much anxiety because everything about my car triggers feelings around my bad experience. Unfortunately, I fell prey to sales tactics, and purchased my (first) new car here despite being treated with disrespect. I had excellent credit and made a salary over six figures, yet I was treated like a child. My dealer, "Little Ben", was very sarcastic and charismatic enough, and took a doomsday sales approach with me trading in my car. I already knew I wanted to trade in just to avoid the work, but Ben told me all the horror stories of what could happen selling privately. (Important detail on this below.) After all the back and forth, I was already 3 hours in and felt like I might as well go through with it since the timing was right for me. (Ugh, live and learn.) In the end, he also kept making jokes that it didn't matter what I took from my old car (which was sentimental to me), it was just going to get crushed at the junk yard. Ben emailed, called, and texted me for four days straight following my purchase to ask if I still liked my car -- even on the 4th of July, which was also a Sunday! Annoying, but whatever. I was already regretting making this purchase at Dick Hannah Honda Vancouver with Ben, but I kept telling myself at least I'm happy with what I bought. But then... A couple months after my purchase, one of the horror stories that Ben told about what would happen if I sold my car privately ACTUALLY HAPPENED despite trading in my car with him -- I got an impound letter in the mail, with all the scary legal documents that this was a traffic violation, I wouldn't be able to renew my license, etc. I emailed and texted Ben -- also just asking for confirmation that all the other paperwork with the DMV was sent -- but he NEVER got back to me. Despite all the incessant, spam-like emails, texts, and calls after my purchase. I sorted it with the DMV and the tow company myself (where I also saw that my car was sold for over 3x my trade-in value, which isn't fun, but it's the name of the game, I guess...). It's now been well over a month since the impound notice. I've been putting off writing this review because of the anxiety, anger, and embarrassment that simply thinking about my car purchasing experience brings me. Not only that, but EVERYTHING around my car is tainted. I'm even dreading getting this oil change... but as of right now, I am planning to drive *out of my way* to visit any other Honda dealership for servicing. read more

My husband purchased his Kia a few years ago and has had issue after issue with the customer service for MONTHS. It all started with a technician breaking part of the car when trying to fix a loose screw from manufacturing. Sure, mistakes happen. It then devolved into multiple instances of waiting for an update and having to call and find out the part was ready, only to find out at the appointment it was "shipped broken" (twice?!), to being told an appointment was scheduled but then showing up and being told nothing was on the calendar, to waiting hours and rescheduling plans to get service done that was not, after all, done. Every time he calls he's told he'll get a call back but either no one calls back or the rep isn't available. I even tried using the chat feature and they said someone would contact me later. I doubt it. Alex and Mike, PLEASE fix whatever is going on in your service department. Training, staffing, technology...something is wrong. read more

I got a flat tire. I called for an appointment. I was told because it was tire-oriented I didn't need an appointment as it was considered a hazardous car condition and I should just come in asap. I came in first thing Monday morning. I literally sat and waited for three hours for a tire change. I would rather have had an appointment than wasted half of a business day. I was quoted a price and when I went to pay it was suddenly nearly forty dollars more. I was too drained to argue. read more

I was hoping for a better experience as it was my first time buying a car, but it proved that sales people really don't care about you and only want you to put a pen to paper. The initial person I spoke to promised to move the car from another dealership for me to make a sale for it the following day to which I agreed and waited until the next morning only to find out a deal was being made for just THAT car I had requested and was supposed to be held for me. Other than that, asking them for any kind of negotiation on a vehicle seems to put them in a hornets nest kind of mood and they treat you like trash. We had been left in the lobby for almost 3 hours, talking to multiple people about different prices. We got to an agreement eventually but nothing was easy or happy about it. The icing on the cake is the smug finance manager who was extremely condescending to me and my family after the exhausting amount of time we had spent on the sales floor, he embarrassed us in front of our child. On top of all this, the car I purchased is still being serviced by their team so I can drive it with peace of mind. Worst experience at the normally not horrible dealers service center. A couple of issues, the service rep Austin was cold and not friendly at all. He never went over what was to be done other than to confirm an oil change and tire rotation, but never presented the costs me upfront. When I scheduled via online via their website it let me select a Lyft ride home but when I asked for that from Austin, he said they don't do that for oil changes, which would have been nice to know before hand. Then there was the issue of the $49.99 coupon I had received, the disallowed it because apparently the coupons you get in the mail are vehicle specific, and that one was tied to my Honda truck, not our Honda Insight. Some other gal came to get me to check me out, and when I asked about why the discount was only $41 instead of the $49 as shown on the coupon she had to go talk to Austin about it. She came back and was going to make the adjustment but then Austin came back over and told her to leave it as is and pointed out that the coupon was specific to my truck and it was just out of his "kindness" that he took the $41 dollars off the bill. Add on top of all that, they made me sign a waiver because they said that the tires were unsafe to drive on, having measured only 3/32. After leaving Dick Hannah Honda as unhappy as I have ever been with them, I took the Insight over to Les Schwab and had them look at the tires. Now bear in mind, both companies are in the business of selling tires and other services, but Les Schwab technician said the tire probably still had another 15,000 miles to go on them and were perfectly safe to drive for at least that. Shame on Dick Hannah for such a horrible business practice. Not sure I will be taking any of my vehicles back to them or any of their dealerships again (also have a Kia from them).
