Her assessment of the root beer was 5 stars for the wonderful taste and creaminess. I give their "Up the creek" IPA my highest recommendation. In fact, I joined their beer club just for that IPA. Today we visited the winery side for a tasting where we tried a white and 3 reds. I highly recommend the Texas white Vermentino. The reds were good, and I need to go back and try them again as I felt the 2 ounce samples shared between the 2 of us wasn't enough. Took a bottle of the Vermentino home to enjoy. Prices are very reasonable with no bottle over $28. At the brewery I enjoyed one of my 10 quarterly beers included with my membership (Up the creek IPA of course) and my wife enjoyed another root beer. The staff is friendly, the vibe is cool, and the venue has a great laid back feel. We are fans!

The healthy portion of Burrata cheese, the acidity in the balsamic glaze and tomatoes creates a seamless match with the Sangiovese, enhancing the wine's red fruit characteristics without washing out the palate. For this trip, I also tasted the 2023 Meritage, a dark, complex blend anchored by Texas grown grapes including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon balanced with Cabernet Franc. Offers layered aromas of cassis, graphite, baking spices and grounded by structured, firm tannins. My previous review included the feedback that prices were incredibly high. Now, the prices of everything else has caught up. Good job Team Perissos. The hospitality of the staff is why we moved to Texas in the 80s. We were able to taste five of the wines on the train and were happy to see that they didn't only choose the sweet ones. I'm used to these events having mostly sweet wines. Our favorite was the Tioja. At the winery, we decided to buy three bottles of wine to share between eight of us. We bought a tioja, a red wind, and a Sangiovese. We all enjoyed the wines and even bought some to take home. The winery staff was super friendly and gave us a lot of suggestions. They did sell chicken salad, sandwich boxes, but we decided to go eat at a restaurant nearby instead.

Their English style IPA brought back fond memories of enjoying a pint in Oxford Eng. This is not a west coast IPA ao don't expect any citrus just hops and malt! The Knock Out Blonde is a wonderful Belguim Tripel that checks in at a hefty 8.9% ABV. Beware, this beer will sneak up on you. My 2nd Fav is Steve's Brown an English style brown ale that drinks as smooth as all heck. We also had the opportunity to sample their Dos Hermanos Mexican lager beer. This beer will be a hit and is perfect for a hot summer day. This is a rustic no frills brew pub that is serving up some fantastic beers. They have a cool stage area, a playground, several tables near the bar with view of the tv and some open inside space next to cornhole. I want to say they had about 8 of other breweries beers on tap (real ale bock and Pinthouse Scorpion Disco are the two I remember) and then they also had cocktails and 2 of their own beers: an amber, and then what I got: the tangerine cream ale. I thought it was pretty good which was surprising as usually, new breweries take a bit to get things figured out. It would be a solid beer for a warm day. The bartender was friendly and they also had a bbq truck on site that smelled delicious but we didn't have time to check-out this time. The only negative I'd say is there is zero inside space with A/C, its all open air. That's not a dealbreaker for me but as its only going to get even hotter, I'm curious how it will impact their business.

This was the most unexpectedly wholesome experience ever…read more I originally stopped by Bee Immortal Mead just to pick up some books from Sheila (Facebook Marketplace win ). I went in first while my boyfriend waited in the truck, and within minutes I was laughing and chatting with Sheila and her friend Laurie about books and random life stuff. They are SO funny and welcoming. I had never had mead before and honestly was a little scared but intrigued to try it. Sheila offered a sample, and I said, "Okay, let me grab my boyfriend, he's waiting in the truck!" So I ran the books out, brought him inside, and we both tried the samples together. And WOW. We ended up staying and buying a whole flight. While we were sipping, Sheila explained how mead is made and shared some really cool backstory about their process and even other meaderies to visit. You can truly tell how passionate they are about what they do. The vibe was warm, inviting, and just genuinely good energy all around. Came for books. Left as mead fans. 10/10 experience. We'll absolutely be back!

Definitely a great asset to those who live in the floors above and the hotel nearby. The photos should entice you through the door.
