We heard about Rockabilly opening a little while back and wanted to wait until they had some of their own beer on tap to check them out and Barks for Beers this month seemed like the perfect opportunity. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went yesterday afternoon and its a really nice property with tons of space. They have a cool stage area, a playground, several tables near the bar with view of the tv and some open inside space next to cornhole[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I want to say they had about 8 of other breweries beers on tap (real ale bock and Pinthouse Scorpion Disco are the two I remember) and then they also had cocktails and 2 of their own beers: an amber, and then what I got: the tangerine cream ale. I thought it was pretty good which was surprising as usually, new breweries take a bit to get things figured out. It would be a solid beer for a warm day. The bartender was friendly and they also had a bbq truck on site that smelled delicious but we didn't have time to check-out this time. This place was very different than what I was expecting. Nothing has been leveled so it's just lots of Texas rocky dirt everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Not ideal for anyone who has any mobility needs (strollers, wheelchairs, walkers, etc) - [[HIGHLIGHT]]No indoor space, no A/C[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything seems pretty unfinished and in some areas flat out dangerous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not very safe for kids even though it seems geared toward families with the play place on site[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] - Only two beers of theirs on tap I was expecting more knowing what breweries on land can be like when finished (basically all the ones in hill country) but it definitely needs some more work before I recommend more people going out there. I hope to change that recommendation sooner than later since this has potential to be a really cool brewery/bar in a developing part of the Austin burbs! read more

We stopped in this past weekend for Rockabilly Brewery's soft reopening. They've been closed for months as they build a beautiful upper bar area. It looks great and you can tell it's only going to get better. They have a nice beer selection and food trucks on site. We didn't get a chance to eat but we will be back again soon to try the food. The owner (Jerry) was there and super welcoming. We got to chat with Justin the GM, again, a friendly and welcoming group. For those of us in this area we have very few local brewery selections, this one has the potential to be one of the best and hopefully bring more to the area. The location is prime due to new residential growth in the area, it's a good opportunity for locals to support a small business. More pictures to come! read more

We have tried visiting multiple times. This last time we tried going for a Halloween event. The parking is very limited and DANGEROUS. The field they cleared to park on is not safe because the dirt is loose and cars were getting stuck. There was no one out there directing traffic and letting people know that the lot was full. So cars were turning around and getting stuck. The company clearly doesn't care about their customers enough to have a safe space for them. Visit at your own risk. read more

If you are looking for a cool new place to hangout this is a great spot. It was our first day trying it out and it was also probably the hottest day of the year. The place is very private and is small but charming at the same time. They have bands scheduled on the weekend afternoons so that will be great to try. This place reminds our group of the Hippo Hut that was off of FM1660. If you want to support small local businesses give this place a shot. read more

I want to like this place as there is nowhere to hang out in Hutto or Pflugerville area. It's a great concept, but needs a lot of work. -parking is limited carved off the side of the hill. Bring 4x4 vehicle. -if it's rained in the past day or so, prepare for a muddy slippery mess from the lot to your beer -[[HIGHLIGHT]]kids area is hazardous. We recently discovered this place and have come a few times to grab a drink after work. I think it has great potential, but there are several things that I'm hoping they plan to improve still. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are exposed nails and sharp pieces of metal on the play structures for the kids so unfortunately I don't feel comfortable letting my kids play while I sit down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also very rustic and the walk up to the bar is quite steep so I'm hoping they plan to install steps or a ramp of some kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even grass would be better than rocks. Lastly, the parking is quite limited. We came for an event once and could not find parking so we had to tell our friends to turn around. Has potential but needs work! I visited opening weekend and several times since. They do have things need to be worked on. I appreciate the attempt to market to families but their half baked attempt clearly shows. I see new tables, lighting and stage but second hand playscapes with exposed nails, spiders and a bounce house that has not been cleaned for some time. There is also exposed decent sized rocks from the ground. Also some chairs seem to be giving way so cannot even sit back without it falling over. I definitely won't be back until some improvements have been made. The live music is great but beer/wine selections are ok. BBQ truck serves delicious ribs, turkey, brisket and sausage. read more

Great new outdoor venue. My kind of place. New to the area and barely seen the sign for this place. Their beer is selection is small but expected for a new brew garden. Starting off is tough. There is plenty of outside seating. Could use more shade if you're there in the middle of the day but we got here as the sun went down, so we were fine. Had a guy playing live music. Though the concept is cool there is a lot lacking. They have an outdoor bar, when we went they were out of a lot of the beers and though it says brewing I don't believe there were any items brewed by them available. I do like that they have a bouncy house for the kids as a mainstay and that there were a couple of little houses for the kids to play. Their bathroom is in a house structure behind the communal area and it's very dark. I think with enough money put into it for repairs and upgrades this could be really nice. read more
