I bought a quad back in 2022 and knew then the customer service was sub-par and the experience poor. Today, I stopped in with the intent on purchasing at least one enduro, dual sport bike. I wondered the store for 45 minutes or so and was never asked if I needed help or if I had questions. I got a good morning from a guy I think worked there, but no one else. I think the current staff needs to find other non service minded employment because they sure do not seem happy. I'm looking for a Can-Am Spyder and have been in three times. I've talked to three different people there. The first guy knew a bit about the bikes. He was the finance manager. He was only there because I'd been standing in a Can-Am section for a while and nobody was there to talk to me. The next time I came in I talked to one guy who couldn't figure out how to open the front trunk. Then while I was there, another guy walked up and asked if somebody help me and I said I just wished he was more knowledgeable. He tried to convince me that I could pick a different sales rep to work with and that I didn't have to work with first guy. Real team player. None of the guys had ridden the can-Ams more than going up and down the parking lot. They couldn't tell me anything. The damage was a slide on the inside of the tube because the installer didn't place the inside rubber band properly and over the metal spokes. It's inconceivable how this was anything other than installer negligence. And yet as a business you did nothing but say "sorry about your luck". It occurred soon after I left your shop with a brand new tire/tube. Me and my wife were in danger because of it. Nope, no excuse whatsoever. There should have been a remedy. I took two sea doos in to be fixed. Dealt w William in service. I found out later he is also the owner of this dealer. First seadoo needed a new battery was like 200 dollars and I was happy. Took the second one in and he would message me every few days saying they can't find the problem and I would ask well how much is this costing just for this diagnosis. He never would give me a straight answer and then finally he said they figured out the problem and it would need a new electrical system. I asked how much is that and he said 1500 added to the current running total of over 1300 which had not fixed one thing on it. Keep in mind this was a 2014 seadoo and was prob only worth about 2500-3k and he was telling me I now owed 2800. The unit had been running fine a week before and when I took it in I was told it was most likely just needing a key reprogrammed for it to start. A minimal cost. But once it was there it was anything but that. But the worst part about this was his treatment of me on the phone. He called me while my wife and I were boarding a plane in california to fly home and I told him we had just boarded and he started telling me about the costs to repair and I was being told by the flight attendant at this point that I needed to hang up the phone so I was stressed and in a hurry so I just said fine just fix it. Well he must have thought I was being rude to him because he launched into an expletive laden tirade telling me to go F myself and he isn't fixing it and to come pick up the effing thing. He must have said F word ten times. And I said - why are you swearing at me I'm not being short w you I'm being told to get off the phone. He was still rude but I told him I would get back to him when we landed in indy. Needless to say this was a horrible experience all the way around and this guy sure isn't too nice to customers - I have never had anyone at a car dealer or any other kind of dealer especially the owner talk to me like that. The absolute worst. I took my bike in for spring service to get it ready for the season. The first time I took it out there were multiple faults. The speed sensor doesn't work, my brake lights don't work, my charger connection doesn't work... Now they are telling me the owners have advised them they are no longer allowed to work on my bike. I believe the problems I am experiencing now were intentionally done to my bike as retaliation. When we bought the bike brand new with cash, our experience was awful, so we told the management about it. I had such an amazing experience at FlatOut over the weekend. FlatOut is usually super busy with only two sales staff. I went Friday morning in hopes of finding the perfect bike to start learning on. We were able to walk around a minute before a sales staff approached us asking if we needed help. The salesman that ended up helping us was David. He listened to our concerns and lead us into the right direction with what we were wanting and the price range. He was super easy to talk and relate to. He also didn't pressure us to buy anything right away. With someone who has severe social anxiety, he was able to make all parties included very comfortable and laugh like we were all buddies. I highly recommend David when going to FlatOut. We ended up leaving with two of our very own bikes for great prices. He even let me know that they put a brand new battery in my bike because it was dead. read more

Save your time and money. After the sale, they could care less about even taking a phone call. Left over 5 messages on 3 days asking for Bill to contact me. Once I finally talked to him after I initiated the call again, he confirmed he got the messages but was too busy to make a return call,basically said the entire purchase was my fault and its buyer beware. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Flat Out, primarily due to poor customer service and unprofessionalism from both the sales staff and the owner. On December 28th, I called and spoke with Dave regarding a boat I was interested in purchasing. I mentioned that I was ready to buy and I was willing to drive from Ohio to Indiana to make the purchase. Dave assured me he would speak with the owner about pricing and call me back. A week passed with no response. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I called again. Dave seemed to have forgotten our conversation but promised to check with the finance team and call me back in 10 minutes. Five hours later, I still hadn't heard back, so I called again. This time, I spoke with Ken, who placed me on hold. After a lengthy wait, a woman finally picked up and stated she was the owner. When I expressed my concern about the lack of follow-up, she dismissed my feedback, stating, "I'll run my business the way I want to run it. But thank you for your input." I asked her if she meant running a business where her sales staff fails to call customers back after promising to do so? The owner replied, "Customers on the floor will always take priority over someone on the phone. I'll mention your concerns. Good luck on your search." She then ended our call. Instead of acknowledging the poor customer service, she defended the team's inaction, claiming that in-person customers take priority. While I understand prioritizing showroom visitors, completely ignoring follow-ups with serious buyers is a poor business practice. After all, I had been trying to purchase their boat for over a week. Having worked in automotive sales for 20 years, I know this situation could have been handled much more professionally. I ended up purchasing the same boat 20 hrs away, from a dealership that valued my business. Flat Out's dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism lost them a sale. I dropped off my wave runner in May. It's now July, and they have never once called me. It started after 3 weeks, and I heard nothing. I called and spoke with Ryan (who had just "inherited" my file) to find out they had not even checked it yet. I asked Ryan to call me when he found the issues. He didn't. I called again 10 days later. Ryan told me it was a $65 part. He said they would order it. I expressed my dissatisfaction that they had never called me about the waver runner, and what part it needed. He promised he would call soon. It has been almost another 3 weeks, and no call, no progress, no fixed wave runner. I would never take anything to Flat Out Motor Sports again. Terrible customer service from Eric A. Lowe! My girlfriend went to Flat Out to look at a motorcycle she wanted to buy, on the first day she went to check out the bike she went alone. Eric was the salesman for the bike and after she checked out the bike he asked to take her out to dinner. This dude is 50 years old and my girlfriend is 29, she comes home to tell the story of him being creepy at her. She then put a down payment on the motorcycle and she was gonna get it from that place. After he told her he was the one that was gonna deliver it to her house, she told me to come with her and pickup the bike with her instead. She didn't want him to deliver the bike to her house. She wanted me to come so she felt safe and not being harassed by him. But that didn't stop him, after we got the bike ready to take home he pulls her apart from me to make sure I couldn't hear anything. He asked her about the dinner again, then we left and went home. We talked and thought he would leave her alone after we got the bike, again wrong. He calls her again and starts telling her how he likes her so much over the phone and keeps harassing her. I will first start off by saying the guys there are nice and the store is amazing. My complaint is that you feel like you are forcing the sale, you have to constantly contact them to get updates or information and not very egar to close a deal. The whole process to trade in and buy new took a week, that was with already submitting my finance application, sending pictures, and then sending another message to confirm they got it. Once we got to the day of purchase, I was told to come in after 3pm, I got there around 3:30. We finally got everything signed and I was leaving with the bike close to 6:30pm (after closing time). This wasn't a great buying experience, the excitement of purchasing a new bike quickly turned into frustration for the whole process. I hope they are able to fix that because there are competitors who want that business and who wont let buyers feel like their business is unwanted. read more

My husband and I had a great experience here! In preparation for an autumn moto trip, hubby had to seek out a moto mechanic for a tire change and a few other maintenance tasks he didn't have time to do. Being newer to the city made it very difficult to know where to take his bike for, not only for a reasonable price, but for reliable, safe service as well. Things can go very wrong on a moto fairly quick. The service he received was on point, done very quickly and honestly for a good price. They even brought out the old parts they replaced to give back to my husband. This used to be customary, but service stations/mechanics rarely do this anymore because they know it's not expected. To us, this indicates the foundation of their service is top notch and honest. As a finisher of The Iron Butt Rally, Tamer of the Dragon, Alaskan Motorcycle Adventurer and former Riding Manager of the American Motorcycling Association, he knows a thing or two about motos! I deducted one star because when we came back to pick the bike back up, we looked around the showroom a little and no one spoke to us. Paid cash for two brand new ATVs and one was already in the shop twice--first time the day we bought it and was told carburetor. Same ATV back in the shop not EVEN a week later--SAME ISSUE. This tells me carburetor was misplaced with a used one and not a new one. After second visit to the store, was told "waiting for a new carburetor". ATV was not ready when promised as well. This was a BRAND NEW ATV and they can't even get it running right!! This should never happen on something brand new with 0 MILES!!! Went in to buy some riding gear and both times not a single person spoke to me or asked if I needed help. I was completely ignored. I had to hunt someone down just to pay for the items I wanted. I try to spend money locally and not just resort to online retailers, but I won't go back here. A friend went in not long afterward and had the exact same thing happen. Just look through the reviews and you will find that LOTS of people have had this same experience. I also contacted them about service on my motorcycle as they were the closest dealer to my work and home. I had ordered the part from another dealer and canceled that appointment and moved it to Flat Out. That was a mistake too. Didn't hear anything for about 3 weeks so I called to check. They said it was still on back order and would call when it arrived. Called several weeks later and they checked and said it was in stock at the manufacture and they should get it soon. Never heard anything back. So I went back to the original dealer, who had received the part that I had ordered at the same time and still had it in stock. Here is an updated review on my Flat Out Motorsports experience, which is better than my previous review from two weeks ago‼ Last Friday, July 3, I met with Mr. Starkey, Dealer Principal, and we had a really good conversation. It was handled professionally and with dignity. I appreciate him taking the time to meet with me for an hour to thoroughly review my concerns, share his conclusions from what he was able to derive, inform me of the steps they were going to take to make system changes and providing me next steps in the process of getting my bike fixed. The follow-up communication from him as well as the service department has been very good following the meeting. Upon arrival this past Thursday, Ryan greeted and got my bike right in for the easy fix. He and Corey were both very helpful in getting the bike repaired as well as checking the tire pressure. They were quick and efficient. It was a welcoming environment, an adjustment from my previous experience, which was appreciated! I truly enjoyed the service rendered that day and want to say thank you to both Ryan and Corey. In all, I believe we all learned something from this entire experience. I hope that the lessons we've learned can be forever embedded in our actions both company and customer for company success and customer satisfaction. I recently purchased a Suzuki Burgman from a friends father. I wanted to get it a "Once Over" service to make sure everything is running and operating well. I called, asked for service and was put on 'Hold" for 15 minutes then someone picked up the phone and put it back down disconnecting my call. I called back only to be left on "Hold" for another 20 minutes. I hung up and called Westfield Motorsports. They handled my call within 5 minutes. I was scheduled for maintenance at my convenience. This dealership and the employees working here are outstanding and provide excellent customer service. We purchased a Can Am on 8/14/21 for my wife. Working with Dave (sales manager), Steve (sales rep) and Mike "Stu" (financing) proved all were very good at their jobs and wanted to do all they could to provide the customer with exactly what they want. While there I fell in love with a Kawasaki on the show room floor and worked out a deal via phone to purchase that 8/20/21. After reviewing their inventory online, I also decided to test drive an Indian Roadster. After test driving both, I fell in love with the Indian. Again, Dave, Steve and Mike worked with me and did everything possible to ensure I had the bike of my dreams. My wife and I are loving both our rides. We couldn't be happier with the bikes, the people or the dealership. We honestly can't think of enough superlatives to describe the excellent treatment we received. They walked through the shopping, test driving, and financing with us step by step. We have never had a better experience with browsing, shopping, test drives, and financing in our purchase of any other vehicles. We completed the full process (shopping, financing and out the door) in 2 1/2 hours on a Saturday, and 3 hours (for 2 test drives) on a Friday. I called and was able to order tires for my husbands birthday present. The original individual wasn't pleasant but it ended up being a great experience. We showed up at 10, on a Saturday morning and got right in. Took about 2 hours. We hung out looking at bikes, talking to super friendly salespeople and admiring their new location. The 4 wheel drive place next door was having a cookout and jump house so we enjoyed those (and cornhole). We almost left with a new bike but stuck with our new tires!! Great experience. read more

The sales associate (Ken was his name I believe) was very rude and annoyed that I was there to buy anything. I took time off work and drove my family from an hour away to experience a dealership and make a purchase for my sons birthday and left mad that I wasted another hour of my time in the showroom. I don't ever leave bad reviews on anything but I will not conduct business here any more and would advise others to look elsewhere too.
