Too bad, Yelp doesn't have a ZERO star option because I'm here to warn you: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Not sure if Flat Panel Pros often target the elderly, but always make sure someone else is home! Unfortunately, I was still at school while this happened or I'm sure this could have been avoided. For one thing, they are not listed on the Better Business Bureau site. They scammed my older parents after "professionally" installing their new stereo & karaoke sound system, but it was far from it. Very unprofessional! Wires were left running in front of the fireplace & crushed between the tv. They were told to pay in cash and weren't even provided an invoice of anything. Now my parents unfortunately are having to pay another person to have the job done right. read more

Failure to Launch With all the Walmart's in world and other big box stores I like to try to support the local business owners but these guys came out and said they'd send me a quote via email I never got it and when I called back the owner said sorry and he'd have the guy send me a quote which never showed up. Meanwhile I called another service the guy not only came out but did the job and all the that extra we gonna email B.S. wasn't even necessary he gave me a price told what the hourly rate was and what was required for the job and we did the job in under two hours. read more

Attempted to mount my LG 77" GX solo but couldn't even get to the point where I attached the mount to the wall. Don't ask. Anyway, I called the retailer where I bought the TV, Video Only, and explained my predicament. They immediately referred me to the Flat Panel Pros. These guys did a great job with mounting my extremely heavy 55" Bang & Olufsen Beovision Avante. Wade stopped by my house to give me a quote within a few hours of requesting it. (Fortunately he was going to be in the area.) The price was reasonable for the work I needed done so I scheduled them for the next week. They met me at my storage unit to pick up the TV and take it to my house. They got right to it and were done in about 2 hours. They needed to install a new duplex plug and conceal the cables within the wall. Then they mounted the TV on the wall and then setting up the remotes and my DVD player and Apple TV. . It looks great and works perfectly. Wade was great about confirming my needs and expectations and met and exceeded them. Their service is fine the first time they came out with 2 guys, and took down my 65 inch TV so I could return it to the store where I bought it. They packed it up and loaded in my Van for me, BUT when I scheduled another appointment for them to install my new TV on the wall they sent one little guy and expected him to install the 65 inch TV by himself. I told the little guy NO and he left. If common sense was used in this situation, there would be 2 people to mount my TV on the wall and I would now be watching TV. I don't understand the logistics some companies in doing a job. I told them they lost a customer, but I hardly think that will bother them. read more

Wade and Pete and their team had to make several trips to our to trouble shoot and finally fix the problem. In fairness to them the problem was complex and they had to eliminate things one by one. They were trying to "marry an old system components to new AV) It turned out that our wiring needed to be upgraded which Breckon and Zack figured out. Breckon and Zack did everything that needed to be done and left us with a working and clean system. I would highly recommend this company and they missed getting 5 stars due to the numerous trips to the house. The extra trips didn't cost us but it was frustrating for us and them. I was completely happy with the work these folks did for us... Wall mounted a very large flat screen + speakers in the family room, plus another slightly smaller wall mount in an office. We purchased a new 65" TV that we needed mounted to an existing wall mount. So, I had the same company that mounted our existing TV come back to do the job. Because of the larger size of the TV, the placement of the mount made it sit very low on the wall and basically sit on top of the fireplace mantle. Long story short, it looked terrible. But they told us it wasn't fixable for a few reasons. Being unsatisfied with this, I called Flat Panel Pros. After a quick phone call and a few pictures sent, they assured me there was a solution. A few hours later they were at my door ready to remedy the situation. Seemingly nice enough guy (Pete) who came over to review ideas of my home theater design. It's a small theater room (19x12) and all seemed pretty straight forward. He shared his thoughts and as expected, he said he would send me an estimated price to run wires and speakers etc. Never heard from him. Followed up by emailing weeks later and still nothing. Is the job too small and not as profitable? I had ordered over $10K worth of Focal speakers that I have wanted for two years. Was it that he wanted me to buy theirs? I'll never know. It's not very professional to leave people like me and other reviewer Ellis hanging, as I had not sought help from another home theater expert. If it's a really simple job these guys are fine anything complicated they're lost would not recommend for anything but basic installation. When they were done the systems in my house were so jacked up I had to pay someone to come and fix it read more
