It was almost a year ago now (sorry for the late review!!!) but these guys did a heroic job running ethernet in our old house. Only 2 runs so far, going to a network closet, but we will likely be adding more at some point. They were able to put the jacks exactly where we wanted, and used a professional faceplate for where the runs terminated in the network closet, as opposed to something open in the wall. They also cleaned up a bunch of non-functional cable from outside the house. Super patient and nice people, and Stephen gave us a lot of options for the install, even though it ended up just being the 2 runs. read more

Everything went well, and their installers were professional and capable. I did report one issue with the installation (in all fairness, I overlooked it as well, and didn't notice it until they had already departed) to the owner, Stephen. A lot of 5-start reviews, not mine. Began well, Stephen came out and seemed engaged. Informed me the Ruckus Switch needed to be replaced. Paid 500 something as a deposit for him to order the switch. Emailed and called about 10 days later for an update and was told he just got the switch ( coincidentally ) and would be able to install in a few days, appt made. He called back the next day and said he could not locate the switch and would not be able to install. Time went by ( 10 days? ) or so, I made the call again ( never any follow-up on their part) and he said "funny you should call, I just got the part". Made another install appt where someone else showed up ( not sure he even introduced himself ), installed the switch and told me one of our Access points was broken. Did not offer to order or replace. Poor communication all around, I had to make all the follow-up calls. Received my final bill, but based on the poor customer service, I would be embarrassed to send as a business. read more

It has been a week since Lupen Systems have installed our TVs on wall mounts. The quote we received was reasonably priced as it also included the wall mounts. We are very pleased with the quality of their service. They wore boots covers and brought a vacuum to ensure they don't track in dirt from the outside, and cleaned up the area after they completed their work. The wall mounts are super sturdy. They asked our opinions to ensure the angle of the TVs are installed to our preference. They work quick, but very efficient. They're also super friendly and professional. We contacted Technical Handymen to install a home network throughout our newly-purchased house in Hillsboro. There wasn't much existing network cabling in the house, and what was there was old and not run well. Similar story for coax cables and phone line, not in good shape and in some cases coming loose from the outside walls, inside wall jacks falling out of the sheet rock, etc. Stephen replied promptly to our estimate request, and scheduled an onsite visit to assess the situation. He was friendly and easy to talk with, eager to share his findings and opinions on how to solve potential problems or issues in the install, and ready to discuss alternatives if "plan A" didn't work out. An estimate for the job followed not long after, and full disclosure: it was more expensive than we were hoping. However, what ultimately won out was Stephen's willingness to discuss options, explain their methods, revise the scope of work and quickly adjust the quote to suit us. At no point did we ever feel pressured into buying something more or different than what we wanted or were willing to pay for, and the proposed solutions were high quality. During the installation, Stephen's team -- Brandon and Ethan -- were thorough and conscientious and friendly. They were happy to answer questions and didn't hesitate to ask when they had questions of their own on how I wanted something done. The guys worked hard, didn't waste time, and paid attention to the details. The end result is pretty great. You can tell they put some thought into where the cable runs in the attic should go, trying to plan ahead for future construction and remodeling activities, rather than just flinging cable through whatever path they could see. Finally, the guys did a lot of work at the end to clear out the old cable and wall plates, no more old cable hanging off the side of the house! They closed up the old wall plate holes with new blank plates, gathered up all the leftovers and trash, vacuumed, and cleaned up after themselves overall. Very nicely done. read more
