I had a some delays because I ordered a few items for my home theater setup and have trouble finding a receiver due to corona and wildfires. I had to reschedule my install multiple times because of the delays. I initially asked Lucas for a quote to get out TV mounted and to have our wires concealed behind the wall. He candidly told me that tackling that kind of project would be costly. He did suggest an alternative way to hide those pesky wires -- external cord masking -- for a fair price. WOW! WOW! WOW! Lucas is an AV genius! Over the years we had upgraded front speakers, rear speakers and a much more expensive center channel speaker. We had our receiver and subwoofer too. But, the system did not sound good. Voices were muffled and we could never hear the rear speakers. The front speakers did not give us an impressive sound quality. What to do? Well, total tech had been out to our home a few times as well as an AV guy who suggested turning our family room to multi, multi thousand dollar home theatre extravaganza that involved taking down our walls to rewire, then re-sheet-rocking after the room was loaded with speakers. Total tech fiddled with our equipment and sold us a new receiver and still we had poor quality sound. This time, I found Lucas online. And thank goodness! He came to our house and told us exactly what we needed. He checked out each component, and made a couple recommendations within our budget. Our receiver was not powerful enough to make our speakers sing. And our subwoofer could not power the rear speakers. He said he would not know if we needed new speakers until he replaced some items and tweaked our system. We purchased new equipment from him for our upstairs and family room tv's. He came out and hooked up the new equipment, replaced some bad cables, adjusted the sound so each seat had fabulous listening. He set up Spotify to the system with our Iphones and minimized our remotes. He even changed some settings on our tv. It took him about 3 hours of working hard and fast to perfect each piece of equipment. It was extremely technical...something neither my husband nor I would have been able to do. Turns out we did not need new speakers, they worked great after he did his work. Later that night my husband and I watched "The Voice" and I could not believe my ears!!! I could hear music out of the rear speakers and the surround sound was POWERFUL! Lucas is absolutely amazing. We are 100% pleased with everything he did. Lucas really knows his stuff and he respects your budget and your needs. We absolutely love our surround sound after Lucas perfected it!!! From now on, he is the only one we will ever use. We hired Lucas/Nexus to install two 65" smart televisions based on his Yelp reviews. He quoted us a price before coming out and was less expensive than the other two AV companies we had contacted. He hung a TV above our fireplace and another in our bonus room using mounts we provided, with no problems.
