Let me start by saying I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and how this situation was…read morehandled. After paying for repairs, the original issue was not resolved. The vehicle continued making the same noises we initially brought it in for only louder and is now accompanied by a burning smell. When we returned to address the unresolved problem, we were informed that an additional part (a water pump) would need to be replaced at extra cost. This was confusing and frustrating, as the initial diagnostic failed to identify what now appears to be the actual issue. We were asked to pay again despite the concern we originally brought the vehicle in for never being corrected. We requested and retained the original parts that were replaced and later had them inspected by an individual who previously worked at Ford as both a mechanic and service writer. We were advised those parts appeared functional and should not have required replacement. Based on this, we believe the service department should take accountability for the incomplete diagnosis and cover the repair related to the water pump, which should have been identified during the original visit. Our concern has never been about avoiding payment, but about accountability for an incorrect or incomplete diagnosis that resulted in unnecessary expense, lost time, and nearly two weeks without reliable transportation. Unfortunately, communication during our visit became unprofessional. A staff member walked away from the discussion, and assistant management refused our request to escalate the concern to higher leadership or ownership. They also told us that the service director/manager was gone the whole week to Arizona even though we we supposed to have a meeting with him to come to a resolution. When we picked up my vehicle today, the service director/manager was back, so they told us false information so we couldn't discuss with their supervisors or owner. We were also told that if the dealership chose to cover the repair that was the actual issue, they may refuse to work on our vehicle in the future simply because we questioned the situation. We asked only for transparency, an explanation of the failed repair, and a fair resolution. Instead, we were met with defensiveness and dismissal from the service department. At this point, we cannot recommend this dealership due to poor customer service, lack of accountability, and unwillingness to properly address an unresolved repair concern. At this point, yes after the discussion with the service department, they are now doing my water pump fix which should been resolved in the first place but I'm glad they are doing it now but I am not pleased that the lady at the service desk said "well if we do this, then we are parting ways and no longer will work on your vehicle in the future". Simply because I mentioned facts that she told me were "your opinions" on what has happened, the incomplete diagnostic, that I was charged over $1200 for something that wasn't the issue in the first place. The service department needs to be investigated. They also deleted my review so I had to post this again.

OVER ALL OTHERS IN THE AREA. Everyone at Lauria, including the owner RJ, have the greatest attitudes & personalities; THEY OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY AND CARE; they seem to understand what their customers are going thru, and they do what it takes to help them in times of need ... where all or so many other auto repair shops, and their employees, have failed miserably in all areas just mentioned; that only suggested extremely high cost incorrect diagnoses and quotes for repairs. Lauria Racing & Repair is honestly worth the 5-star review rating they currently have, but if I could, I would give them a 10+. Jared worked on a very puzzling problem with my car that had no heat and the blower would only blow out the middle vents ... no defrost or floor blower operation. Others told me my only solution was to tear my entire dash & more out; I needed to replace the entire heating system... heater core to all other mechanical parts that are part of the heating system... which would take "forever" or a ton of hours to do, which would be extremely expensive. I could not afford to do all that other auto shops said was needed. I had just gone through multiple very costly car repairs, one after another, this year (2025); and I already owed much more than I could afford at this point. The cold season (October) was beginning; I became very upset & depressed that I needed to try to drive my car with no heat - no defrost thru the winter. Eventually I received unexpected help from an awesome organization, DRIVING HOPE [*PLEASE HELP THEM TO KEEP HELPING PEOPLE LIKE ME; DONATE TO THEM]; and they referred me to Lauria Racing & Repair. Jared worked on my car and solved my problems/issues in about an hour, with no tearing apart my entire dash and replacing everything that had to do with the heating system! I also needed a new water pump, which Lauria's time to replace was much less than all other auto shops I visited. I returned to Lauria December 23rd with no heat/no defrost... my blower quit. So I stopped late in the afternoon unannounced... no warning call or appointment ... my intention was just to ask which fuse was actually for my blower (the car manual diagram was confusing to me); and to see if they could test my car with a computerized scanner they have, that they used to solve and fix my previous heat/blower problems. I was so shocked and surprised... and I guess a bit "excited" and relieved inside (Not sure if excited is the correct word but...); they took my car into the garage and started working on it and found that a wire to my blower had burned. I was sad & worried... BUT THEY FIXED IT!! Very much NOT expected! THANK YOU!!! The communication, customer service and time JR and Jared gave me; explaining and listening to me, was exceptional and something you will not see or experience with all the other shops in the area that I had previously gone to and called since 2017.
