We finally were able to stop by here last weekend absolutely loved it. Good size outdoor space and enough room for people to bring their dogs, like we did. Not everywhere had shade but we found a spot with an umbrella. We ordered some food and a couple drinks inside. They ended up bringing food out to our table and also checked in a couple times so the service was great as well. Drinks were nice and cold with what seemed like a solid selection to choose from. Food was overall tasty and we'd order everything we got again. The cheese curds were fantastic and you get a good size order for the cost. The burger was good, but average and nothing really special. Lastly, the O rings were great and out favorite being the breadcrumbs not beer battered. I'm sure it gets PACKED during nice weather and days but we'll definitely try to be back at some point!! read more

Can now say I've been there to sit in their beer garden and look at the mountains. That was nice. They can keep the rest - overpriced everything, $16 burger, $10 for a couple cokes. Not close to anything, nothing especially stands out. It's just a dumpy little overpriced hole in the wall in the middle of the rocky flats environmental disaster. Windy as heck, too. The drinks are amazing, food was delicious, the servers are constantly checking in on you even though they were super busy, etc. the inside was super loud sound wise so just an fyi. I came in here the other night with my boyfriend, it was last Saturday at around 930pm, and as soon as we walked in the vibe seemed WAY off. The bartender was short with my boyfriend whenever he asked questions, and we immediately felt super unwelcome there, so We left almost as fast as we came. I have no freakin clue why the vibe/the bartender seemed so unwelcoming? Maybe it was because we didn't fit into the specific type of person they were wanting here... ...aka a mid 30's millennial who used to turn up on pearl st in their 20s, now spends their weekends quietly drinking IPAs until 10pm, after which they quickly head home so that they can wake up at the crack of dawn to get their weekend bike ride in. We stopped in driving back from Boulder and had always been curious about the Flats. Tonight likely wasn't the best night to get the full experience and we'll def be back but won't likely order cocktails next time. The ingredients seemed to all be there, but the ratios / recipes were def off. We tried four cocktails and would only order one of the four again. Easy fix though. Tonight it was raining and dark. Beer garden next to some cows and a mountain view! This is located next to the road between Golden and Boulder. It was bustling, and all the outdoor seating was full, so we had to watch the area like hawks to claim a spot when a family left. I'm glad we were on top of things because someone else was about to approach the seats we had been eyeing. The food was typical bar food, so we went for dinner elsewhere. My friend enjoyed her pretzel though. I'm not a beer person, so I chose a hard seltzer from the menu foolishly thinking it would come on tap. It was actually just a small can of seltzer for $7 that I probably could have bought from the grocery store for $2, and I poured it into a metal cup so it would look more aesthetic. I liked the taste, but not enough to get another one at that price. My friend is a beer person, so she got a few beers on tap and liked them. The service was alright. The first bartender took our orders, we paid, then they forgot about my friend's beer until she asked about it 10 minutes later. There was a friendly server who came to us when we were sitting outside to take our orders, although we had to venture back inside to grab menus. We walked in and were greeted and given menus. We ordered at the bar and were given a locator to put on our table. We went out back to check it out and found a picnic table. There is a spot on the table for the locator so they can find you. My husband went for the crispy chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce. There were several sauces to choose from for that sandwich. My daughter and I both got their burger with cheese. She likes cheddar and I chose gouda. We both opted for onion rings as our side. My son chose the three sliders from the appetizer menu. That was just right for him. The back area has Adirondack chairs facing out toward the mountains. There would not be a bad seat out there for sunset. Their view is stunning. We were there mid-afternoon. Wear your sunscreen! Our food came shortly and we were checked on often. The sandwiches all had a brand seared into the top of the bun. Nice touch. My burger was delicious. The onion rings were fantastic. Crispy and grilled with perfectly done onion inside. Food wise, we got the wings which were really well done but the wings themselves were the smallest things I've seen, literal micro wings. The cheeseburger sliders are a nice size and they taste like a backyard bbq burger which I love. The cheeseburger sliders curds are perfectly crispy and cheesy and the jalapeno aioli is really good. Incredible views! You could easily drive past this spot and miss it. It is definitely an unassuming little place on the side of the road from Golden to Boulder. Walk through the inside, and it looks like a neighborhood hole in the wall/dive bar but prepare to be WOWed when you step outside! Most of the customers were outside when we visited and its obvious why. They have multiple picnic tables and Adirondack chairs with umbrellas. The shade cover over the picnic tables was very splotchy and I actually ended up getting sun burned. It was a really hot day with not much air moving so that was uncomfortable. The food was fine. We liked the pretzel with beer cheese but my burger was really dry. My husband liked his wings and they had a good beer selection. Such an amazing stop inbetween Golden & Boulder! Seems to be crowded for happy-hour timing on the weekend, but clears out a bit for actual dinner. The atmosphere is light and fun, all drinks in aluminum cups and easy to fill water stations. You order at the bar and the food comes right to your table and you can close out right there which is nice. Menu isn't extensive but everything looked so tasty. Definitely must get the sweet potato fries if they're your thing, they were some of my fav I've had. The burger was perfectly done and so tasty. This place is awesome! The views are excellent, the food is great, and the pricing is reasonable. Everyone here was so friendly and provided amazing customer service, Tessa was a real gem! There is plenty of outside seating with killer views of the mountains. The only thing missing is some fire pits. Food wise: You gotta start with the cheese curds! The jalapeño aïoli with them is perfection. The grilled cheese is so dank, add a side of tomato bisque soup for dipping and thank me later. The fish sandwich is best with a lot of the tartar sauce. The fries are crispy and seasoned well. The s'mores cookies were the best way to finish up a tasty meal! Drink wise: I didn't love the smoretini but the way it is served is so cute with a flaming marshmallow. I think with a splash of cream it would be tasty. The wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was upbeat, preppy, but at the same time, peaceful and enjoyable with the mountains in the background. Sitting outside is definitely the place to be when you come here. There are a lot of tables where you join other people to sit down eat drink, and be married. The best seats, though, however, are near the back beyond the patio area with large lawn chairs facing the mountains. There are definitely not many of them to come by and people lineup like hawks, waiting to jump on the next set of available chairs, which is actually kind of funny. Most importantly, the food and drink were fantastic. This is only our first time here, but we will definitely be back. read more
