BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE! If you are looking for a nice place to celebrate, have dinner or go just for a drink. STAY FAR FROM Flava. My niece went there last night to celebrate an accomplishment. There were only 7 other customers there. It took 25 mins for the waitress to come and acknowledge she and her guest. They asked how big the burger was because it could be small sliders (a legitimate question), the waitress asked the bartender (maybe manager) and came back with, "Big enough to feed your belly". Very disrespectful to say this and even worse for the waitress to repeat it to A PAYING CUSTOMER (or anyone) who was nothing but respectful to her even after the DISRESPECT. Also, After taking only two sips of the drink, which was mostly whipped cream, she asked to exchange it for something else because it wasn't good. I was told that I had consumed too much of it for a return, even though whipped cream melts and turns into liquid. If you're looking for a restaurant where customers are belittled, disrespected, and treated as though they don't matter, this is the place to go. Good vibe & DJ. A bit of a younger crowd but thankfully not over the top belligerent or obnoxious. Although there were the predictable twerkers, including head stand twerking, by the DJ booth / entrance. Passé..... Service took a little long, might need more staff on weekends. Good place to celebrate birthdays and other occasions. At least for those that want the cliche Instagram pictures and reels. We got searched at the door. It's an uneasy feeling but a sign of the times when hanging in certain neighborhoods. (Deep breath, YAK) It's better to be safe than sorry, so although I appreciate the half ass search (something is something). The environment is Caribbean base and the food was bussing . I had a seafood pasta and my friend girl had an oxtail dish . The drinks were reasonable and gave some kickback . The D.J on this night was rolling . There were two other girls sitting next to us and their were friendly and fun to be next too . The customer service was hospitable but also slow as if distraction took place in our server . The bust boy made sure our table was clean at all times . The young woman waiting our table, we had to CHASE HER DOWN; for the bill, some napkins and a straw we asked for at the very beginning of her waiting our table. She did not care. Come to find out, they get an automatic $10 tip for every table waited; this explains her lack of respect and professionalism. When we finally get ahold of her, she'd forgotten any requests. Worst customer service of all my years of life! The light skinned server service was below a 0. When I got to the establishment and was ready to place my order, it took her over an hour and a half to take my order. My family members that were there before me was waiting for their bill for the same amount of time I was waiting to place an order. A table across from us, left because she took too long to give them their bill. When it came time to close out my and the rest of my family bill, she gave us boxes and said she's leaving. No one came to give us a bill and take our money while we're at the table waiting and asking other employees for togo cups/etc for us to go as they were telling us it's time to go. As we get in the car to leave, now the light skinned server runs to my truck to collect payment as if we're deliberately trying to run out on the bill, when we stayed until we were hurried upstairs and out the door. First time in this establishment and it was the absolute worst! I never ordered my drinks with her because of her poor service, I went straight to the bar. The champagne was dry I'm not really a dry try of person but it was included and it didn't taste entirely bad so I stuck with it. Had 4 more after that didn't even taste the bitterness anymore. Then we placed our food order I ordered the lobster ravioli with shrimp and crab meat sauce. When the food came out it looked delicious I was ready to devour my food because I was so hungry but when I dug in my food was completely cold. I made a face and the waitress noticed asked what was wrong I told her she took background food immediately. When she brought it back I'm thinking yup finally gonna be able to enjoy this food. NOPE food was still cold at this time I just left it alone I asked for a to go tray and I said I'll heat it at home probably. I will say when I got home and I heated it up myself omg it was delicious everything I imagined I felt all fuzzy inside because it was so good I get super excited when my food speaks to me. My boyfriend had the filet mignon he said it was perfect for him and his food was hot so he enjoyed his dish. The menu also came with fixed appetizers we had crab cakes with avoilli sauce and beef empanadas they were just as delicious and we ordered 2 drinks not o the menu they were pretty decent not strong enough for my liking but if you like sweet drinks this is definitely for you. The menu also came with dessert it wasn't what was on the menu so I didn't like that as well, and the dessert they do give wasn't tasty Overall we had a good pretty good experience aside from my food being cold twice, and them not giving the dessert they stated on the menu I would definitely go back anytime my food is that good you will always get me again. I came here on Mother's Day with my sister from Jersey . WORST experience ever! First of all we paid $20 each to get inside of a restaurant to eat, we realized it wasn't packed and got very excited to eat. That was at 11:14pm. Then we were seated. 35mins of precious patience time pass by and nothing. I got up and reached out to the woman who we paid to get inside the establishment. Then a kind waiter saw us just sitting there, came over took our order and sent over someone around 11:55. I visited this restaurant in December and had such a horrible experience that we walked out and left. The hostess had a very poor attitude and looked extremely agitated. Although they were many empty seats in the front, she tried to sit us in the back near the restroom. When we asked for a seat closer to the front... they planted a table down on the walkway near the Xmas tree for us to sit. So now every time a server walks past our table is bumped. The music was extremely too loud, there's young guys in the very front dancing and jumping around when you walk in. The biggest disgust is coming in and getting searched and pat down by someone that looks like a man. I physically jumped back when she started touching me before she then says she's a woman. They also have a Grade Pending on the inside door hidden behind a plant. Grade Pending means they failed the Health Department Inspection... which means this is not a clean or safe environment to consume food. This restaurant was truly a disappointment. read more

Tried this spot on a whim last Friday and it was great. It is a hidden quiet spot. The happy hour deal is amazing, and the rum punch is strong. I got the seafood pizza, and my boyfriend got the stuffed salmon and both were tasty. To top it off the staff was friendly and attentive.
