Good vibe. Great DJ. Good/decent food. I had a glass of moscato, seemed kind of watered down, I'm not sure. HORRIBLE customer service. I came with my partner on a Saturday night at 10pm. The young woman waiting our table, we had to CHASE HER DOWN; for the bill, some napkins and a straw we asked for at the very beginning of her waiting our table. She did not care. Come to find out, they get an automatic $10 tip for every table waited; this explains her lack of respect and professionalism. When we finally get ahold of her, she'd forgotten any requests. I can't imagine if I came here and had to wait for a table. She gave us such horrible customer service one of the men on the floor tended to us, numerous times, brought us our to-go bowls and removed our plates while she's nowhere to be found.

Flava II Bar Lounge is now a top favorite in Brooklyn! Right when you walk in, you're greeted by a vibrant mural of iconic artists like Biggie and Riri, setting a lively atmosphere. The DJ really knows how to keep the place jumping with great music. They offer awesome themed nights and a very inviting happy hour. The food is incredibly diverse and delicious, from seafood boil to oxtail Rasta pasta. The VIP section is perfect for birthdays or any celebration. Everything I tried, from the pasta to the cake and wings, was exceptional. Make sure to ask for Teesh when you visit--she's fantastic!

The food here was outstanding. The oxtails were tender and tasty. The music was FYAAAAA. They had nba sports on which was a plus. There was a great vibe. Once we got seated the waitress was attentive. Def would come back here

A great vibe on a Friday night ! With a live DJ great drinks good service and the food chefs kiss highly recommended. I ordered the island glazed salmon with the mango jerk seasoning add shrimp with white rice and the tropical martini was delicious. If you're looking for a great vibe on a Friday night after a long week i would highly recommend checking out Flava.

    - My gf and I went here Tuesday at 8pm. It was empty with the exception of two tables (got busier afterwards). Security checked IDs and then we were seated immediately. That aside, service was on the slower side and not very attentive or friendly/interactive. We left here after 11pm. -GOOD FOOD. The seafood pizza was really good and I loved the fact that there were real chunks of lobster, salmon, and shrimp! The steamed snapper was really good too! Well seasoned just like I normally make it. The mashed potatoes were good. The stuffed shrimp was okay, wasn't too crazy about whatever sauce they put on it. The menu said that entrees are served with a side (your choice) and veggies, but there were no veggies served with the meals. The buffalo wings were a fail. The sauce was kind of tart and they tasted microwaved. -They have a really good selection of drinks. It was so hard trying to decide but the frozen coladas were good. We had it them with casamigo. Lychee margarita and the Canarsie was too sweet, had to send them back to get fixed. The lemon drop martini and Brooklyn bomb were good too. -They have a live DJ that plays a mix of pretty much everything, reggae, soca, R&B, soul etc. It was a really good vibe everyone was dancing in their chairs lol

Everything needs improving. Bad customer service, food takes forever... Rude promoter. If you are looking to support an unbiased vendor that equitably serves their commuity members without partiality and prejudice this establishment is NOT the place for you. My saftey was threatened by their promoter and he issued phyical threats against me and nothing was done by the vendor except for banning the paying customer. I was also not refunded after paying but not allowed access into the venue by security. Cash app payment was made to: Tawana and photo of declined refund request are attached as well as video of entry being denied after paying.

I can't be the only one who thinks Canarsie needs more entertainment!! Luckily, there's @flava2lounge, a Caribbean restaurant and lounge, located on Ave D. For food and drinks, we ordered: Crab Cakes Henny Punch Fish Bowl Stuffed Shrimp w/ Mashed Potatoes & Mixed Vegetables Asian Fusion Wings Calamari Canarsie Fish Bowl Stuffed Salmon w/ Mashed Potatoes & Mixed Vegetables Food, drinks, music and vibes were on point! Service was great. Plus I heard they get lit on the weekends

The Asian Fusion wings and Stuffed Shrimp were chef's kiss. The rum punch was also great. They played really good music too. We sat at the bar. Service was pretty good, I will say the waitress seemed like she was tired and didn't want to be there but she never came off rude. Made sure we had drinks and made those rum punches very strong for us which we liked. Would definitely go back there to try more food.

This was my first time coming here. Sunday night is a great night to come from what I see. The vibe is cool the DJ is great. He played a mixture of all type of music kept everybody engaged. The hookah was good they only take cash for the hookah like most spots. I didn't eat but friends had the salmon which they loved. The only reason I am taking a star away is because our waitress was really slow. It was time we didn't see her for at least 30 minutes. She was doing multiple things at once. I am hoping they was short staffed that night. I would come back again to try the food. Overall great spot.

I still think this place should stick to sports or being a smoke venue for those wanting a chill place to shoot dice or whatever. The service was better, with the waitress being taller and more mature than the previous night. The food came out quicker and was less greasy and smelly. Overall, I think this place needs some consulting on how to appeal to more customers in and out of Flatlands/Canarsie. It is located right outside the station, after all.

The drinks are good; I had the blue lagoon, the Tokyo tea, and a rum punch. My bf had the jungle bird, which was also good. There's a happy hour from 5-7 and $1 wings all night. I ordered the garlic parmesean and the sweet teriyaki wings. The wings were overdone and fried too hard. The garlic parmasean needed to be tossed in more garlic mixed in butter for the taste. There was a live singer and we thought he was there every Thursday but it turns out he was there for the party; he was good and we enjoyed the vibe. Mondays and Fridays are karaoke, and Sundays is Jazz night, we were told by Lena. They played good music after the live singer left. I will definitely go back now that i have somewhere i can hang near by. And I look forward to Jazz night on Sunday.

Great play list a little bit of everything r&b, hip hop, reggae soca etc... but the volume was way to loud. The place was shaking and vibrating. We came during happy hour. The drinks were ok. My friend took mine and I went with a passion fruit margarita which was ok. Idk what rum they put in the premade rum punch but please revise that. The fries were disappointing as well. Fries were extremely oily and just not great. I can't see myself returning

I made reservations for 6:30 PM for five (5) adults. I knew it was not meant to be as soon as we walked in. We arrived at 6:45 PM and was told they would have to find us a table (there were several empty tables that were large enough to accommodate). We stood for 7 minutes before a gentleman came and sat us down. The table was bare, the only thing on the table was table cloth. It took approximately 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order. I didn't know that they had a live band and it was too loud for such a small place. The Menu had a fix price for $65 per person. The person who finally came to take orders sat at our table and cross of many items that were not available. It took another half an hour for someone to come place water at the table and gave us eating utensils. According to the menu, each of us would start our meal with a salad. The salad never came. We asked for a drink menu, we were told that they had nothing really to drink. We each order an appetizer from the menu, they brought us one plate with items on it. Mistakes were made in everything that we ordered to eat and others near us had the same issue. The original server that took all the food orders never came back to our table. The service was horrible. This was an embarrassing Mother's Day dinner. At the end, they presented me with a bill for $458. I will never return and I suggest that if any of you are considering going to this restaurant, don't bother. I would have been better off going to order food at Kal's Bakery & Restaurant and go home to eat. It would have cost me $17-$30 and would not have spent 3 hours being frustrated and embarrassed to have taken my mother, sister and other family members there.

The owner and manager knowingly triple booked the space and refused to do the right thing. A contract was signed two months ago for a high school graduation dinner for 50 people; two days before the event when the owner was aware there was conflict, he asked if my cousin could push back her event 'til 7pm. After speaking to the other two event coordinators, I was told that their events were only scheduled and booked by the owner Two weeks ago (both the baby shower and a health event). Again, the owner knew this was the case and did not make himself present or discuss the situation with my cousin or the health coordinator his mistake. The baby shower which was booked two weeks ago was scheduled from 2-8pm; and the health event was scheduled from 5-9. Upon the arrival of our family, we were flabbergasted by the fact that not only was the first event still taking place, but it was not scheduled to end until 8pm. Despite knowing all of this the owner still requested all parties to remit full payment though he knew he was already in breach of his contract with my cousin. Tonight, not only did he make himself unavailable or be present to diffuse the situation; he also had no managers on hand to troubleshoot the situation. Several calls to the owner went unanswered. He finally had a young staff member relay a message that he will call my cousin (several hours after this event was supposed to start) to "see what he can do". Over an hour later and he never responded. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Spare yourself the headache and frustration. Do not come here. Final time of space availability after set-up was 9pm - followed by the serving of tepid/borderline cold food.

A great mix of soca, reggae, and a lot of the hits. When I went the age limit was 23 and older to get in. I went on a Sunday. They have a few TV's on the wall but they had it on MTV. A little weird. Watching 90s rock music videos without the sound. Lots of head banging, hair flips, and baggy pants. It was pretty empty yesterday. We ordered the wings with a mango sauce and fries. Fries were okay. Tasty. Nothing special. But the wing sauce was sweet with a little heat. I wasn't really a fan of it. I think I would've preferred buffalo or jerk, or just plain old fried but what got me was that the chicken was undercooked. I was biting into the drumstick and the chicken was kind of rubbery which is a no no. It definitely needed more time in the fryer. I don't mess with undercooked chicken. I'd definitely go back there again for the great music, dancing with friends and strong and moderately priced drinks.

The new decor is of New Yorker Chic with ghetto fabulous twinged in it. I say ghetto, for the fact that there was something weird going on in the back near the bathrooms. It was like the ceiling dropped 5 feet so they could add an upstairs area. Nonetheless, I was impressed from what my first true experience was. Since this place is in the neighborhood, I can see it as my new home bar. Sometimes it just gets tiring going into the city to get a drink. I can just walk a few minutes and enjoy.
