Tight parking and barely seating. True hole in the wall

Greattt Food ! True hole in the wall. Was a little disappointed at prices as everything was a dollar more. Saw picture of the menu however, it was outdated so FYI. Barely any seating or parking. Service was quick with the order turn around .

The service was like coming HOME...and I loved it. Literally felt like family and this was my first time here. Now for the food...I got the chicken and waffles, with grits and eggs and added sauteed onions. The chicken was NEXT LEVEL good...and the waffles came with powdered cinnamon I believe and was good without syrup. The sauteed onions were freaking EPIC a long with the grits. The eggs were about average...it wasn't bad...but it was world class...but eating the whole meal as a collective... simply AMAZING. My only gripe is that this food is so good, I wish they had an area to dine in but unfortunately it's takeout only. If you are in the area you HAVE to try them out... YOU'RE WELCOME

Fried pork chop w home fries and eggs

A pretty good place for southern breakfast/brunch. I had the chicken waffle, and was given a choice of belgian or regular waffle. I tried the belgian version, and gosh it was fluffy light and so delicious. The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender inside, though some pieces are overly salty. My husband ordered the pork chop and he didn't enjoy it as much, finding it too dry and tough. The price is very reasonable and the service friendly. I'm interested to be back to try their other dishes, especially the shrimp and grits.

The shrimp and grits were absolutely AMAZING‼ No matter where you're coming from it's worth the trip‍

Great food! The service is always fast and a welcoming environment. Easy to find and and parking is abundant.

I found this place thanks to Yelp, so please allow me to give back, in the form of this review. First, you need to understand that I hate brunch. I have the bottomless and the shitty takes on breakfast food but more expensive and I hate people who brunch. What I do love is breakfast. Simple, pure breakfast. No hot takes. No drunken girls wooing. Just people grabbing sustenance for their day without drama or sunglasses on their head. Flava's is almost the distillation of a perfect breakfast place. They close at noon, so you can't even get anything with "unch" in the title. They have a simple menu of proteins and eggs and sides. I got eggs, sausage and homefries. The eggs were good. The sausage was real big sausage that was not some weak small breakfast sausage. And the home fries were literally perfect. Far too many times, home fries are simply slices of potato with some crappy onion that sit on a grill for 2-4 minutes, which is long enough to get them slightly warm, but not long enough to crisp and this is a war crime. The home fries at Flava's were small tiny pieces of potato that were all perfectly crunchy and crisp. Like they cloned the best home fry and then shrunk it and made tons of them. This restaurant makes me want to petition Yelp to create a 6th star.

Really friendly and energetic service. They show you your take out order before you leave. Had: -grits (nice but not mindblowing) -wings (juicy and crispy, lots of seasoning) -liver (a little firmer / earthier than I like but enjoyable) -toast (buttered and...it's toast) -home fries (good, but I think they're better on a plate than take out) -sausage patties (flavorful) -belgian waffle (it's true, they do cinnamon it up, but I gotta say I loved it) I'm a fan, I'll be back, and I'll order what I liked and skip what was decent but not a must. I've seen some reviews mention that the appearance of the place made them drive on by. Not only did I flag those reviews, but people, seriously...dark skinned folks scare you? You've never been asked by someone for change? Bring a friend with, say no, and get over it.

Front of restaurant. Nice and clean inside and out.

Went here and it was suppose to be open and it wasn't. In a sketchy neighborhood and looked like a dump.

It had just rained, so sitting outside was actually really pleasant--not too hot or humid. The other 2 stars I'm taking off are for the service. The servers never really smiled and seemed like they didn't want to be there. We honestly felt like we were bothering them whenever we asked for something. Maybe they were just having an off day, but a little friendliness would have made a big difference. The food was good and the place itself was nice. I just wish the servers were a little more welcoming and pleasant.

When we walked into the restaurant, I immediately recognized how cute everything was. There's a lot of pink and girly colors. My first bite was of the Oreo pancakes and Oh.My.Gosh. I couldn't even believe that was happening that I was eating the most amazing pancake in the world. The pancakes were super fluffy and somehow tasted like there was butter throughout the cake itself. It did not need any syrup. The Oreo flavor was bursting throughout the pancake. The whipped cream was homemade. To die for. Then there were the breakfast tacos which were delicious having eggs and chorizo out of a pancake, are you kidding me? The chipotle sauce was awesome. Unfortunately, I could not get to the fries but the burger was amazing too. The bacon was super crispy and the meat was tender and the bun was soft but a little crispy around the edges. I would drive from Naples just to have breakfast here. Paulina was our waitress and she was so nice and attentive. I really enjoyed chatting with her.
