It's just Turkish version of scrambled eggs but with tomatoes, more seasoning and wetter in consistency. The menemen came with a delicious home made rye bread. I also ordered a blueberry lemon muffin that was very dense , more like a cake texture and not very sweet. I think I could've passed on the muffin but I was hungry and my eyes were bigger than my stomach. My companions also enjoyed their breakfasts - lox bagel and grand luxe breakfasts. They ran out of Brazilian pan de queso, but the owner was gracious enough to accommodate our request to purchase an order of 8 pieces and they were made to order , hot and delicious! Parking is street side and we lucked out finding a spot a short walk away. They were doing some construction on the building so we had to carefully navigate to reach the entrance which faces Lake Avenue. Inside there are a few tables, a bar along the wall window, and an area with a sofa. We chose an open table and perused the menu, then ordered at the cashier. They have breakfast, pastries, empanadas, salads, paninis, and sandwiches. We both got a sandwich. I started with an iced decaf coffee latte. It was very good. I'm not a fan of Starbucks as I think their coffee is bitter, but this coffee here was pleasantly aromatic and smooth. My husband chose an Inca kola from the cooler. My husband got a tuna classic and I got a grilled chicken with avocado sandwich. We both chose a white baguette for our bread. We both really liked our sandwiches. The bread was crusty outside and sift inside and lightly roasted. So glad we finally got to try them.
