Found parking right out front and there was a public parking lot right across the way. It was pretty busy and we were lucky to have grabbed a table inside. The line moved quickly but grows quicker! It's a bit pricey but it was a good meal! The pistachio latte was really good and not too sweet, I also got a chicken caesar wrap which was filling and tasted good. My son got the steak bowl which was a great portion (he's 3). And my friend got the steak sandwich which looked bomb!

I was especially excited to see outdoor seating since we have three little ones with us, which made everything so much easier. The moment we walked in, all of our kids' faces lit up--we all just said, "wow!" It's truly a beautiful space. I'd love to come back for a quiet date with my husband sometime. I ordered an iced pink chai latte and it was delicious (my kids kept trying to steal sips ). My husband got a cold brew with cold foam and really enjoyed it. The kids had donuts and were very happy, so overall it was a win for everyone. My only complaint would be the cup sizes. The 12oz felt surprisingly small--it was gone after just a few sips! My husband and I both laughed because we felt the same way. We'll definitely be back!

Then you either cut through the building or walk around to the back (or front entrance). There are some tables outside and about 6 two-top tables inside. You order at the counter, and they will bring your food to you. In the counter displays you can see their various pastries and quiches. There's also a separate cooler for cold drinks. When we stopped by for lunch, they were fairly full inside -- which meant 4 of the tables were taken. It was a one-man band as the owner/chef was doing everything by himself. He was waiting on everyone and preparing the food, as well. Oh, and btw, he is from Paris. I started with an iced decaf coffee. The coffee was very good -- not bitter like the famous chain everyone goes to. I also ordered a sandwich of turkey with cranberry sauce and brie. It regularly comes also with ham, but I had him leave this off. They were out of baguettes so our choices of bread was a panini or a panini (!) -- so we got a panini. My husband ordered a tuna sandwich with veggies. I think the guy thought he'd ordered tuna with cheese, however. It took a bit to get our sandwiches as the chef was making crepes and other food for the rest of the customers. We were okay with this -- although hungry. Both sandwiches were served hot from the panini press. And both sandwiches were thoroughly enjoyed. We didn't get any dessert, but several items looked appealing. If you are looking for an authentic local cafe experience and are not in a rush, this place is for you.

We learned about the restaurant being named for her mom (No, it doesn't mean gold). The restaurant faces the south side of the street in a strip next to the smoke shop. Parking is in a lot a couple doors west. Look for the umbrella table outside. The street numbers jump from 500 to 426 in one storefront. Inside, it's charmingly decorated. The dates on the walls refer to different relatives birth years. We started with drinks. I got an iced decaf coffee. I had my choice of 3 milks. He had an iced chai latte. He said it didn't need any added sugar. Both were very good. For food, I ordered their burger. It was cooked to temp as requested. The patty topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was good. Alongside came crispy chips and a small bowl of their special (addictive) Le Dor sauce -- a mix of cheese and burger jus. My husband had their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The salad had nice chunks of chicken along with raisins, avocado, spicy mayo (just a touch of a kick), and lettuce. There were grapes and an orange, too, on the plate. He said it was wonderful. The menu is small, but prepared to look good as well as taste delicious. They offer special pasta nights. Call for info and reservations for these events. We were too full, but the almond croissants and other pastries looked appealing. Ask what they have when you drop by. We hope we can return soon.

The chicken sandwich didn't disappoint. It is flavorful and very well presented. The green juice is refreshing and freshly done. My son had a strawberry smoothie and he said it was amazing. I'm not going to mention the servers name in fairness to her as we aren't sure if the issues were with her personally, or if the kitchen was off today. We were seated immediately when we arrived but it took quite some time to see our server and the place wasn't even half full at this time. Once we ordered our coffee and mimosas, it took nearly 15 minutes for them to arrive. The server apologized for the delay. I had ordered the eggs Benedict and my wife a cheese omelette. The server again apologized for the delay in the food arriving which also took forever. By the time it finally arrived, my eggs were basically hard boiled as they sat for so long and my wife's omelette had ham in it. She didn't order that. Then to close things off, I motioned to my server to bring me the check. She put up her finger asking for a moment. She never came back. We finally had to flag down another server to get our check. Needless to say this was a disappointing service for us. Now, all that said, I would give Keke's a 5-star rating normally as we've never been disappointed in the past. We will be back and hope that this was just an off day, staff called in sick or something along those lines, and pray their normal exceptional service is what it always has been.
