First things first: plenty of free parking in the lot. We checked in online then went to the hostess station to let them know we were there. There was about a 20 minute wait once we got there which was fine and expected. There wasn't a terribly large waiting area inside and out of the heat but we managed to stay out of the way until a bench opened up for us to wait. Our waitress Brittany was so lovely and welcoming. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes with an iced coffee and my husband got the basic skillet with a regular coffee. My only complaint is that the syrup didn't come out with the pancakes and I had to wait a bit before I could flag down someone to grab a syrup. That said, they brought me out a warm syrup dispenser from the kitchen so all was forgiven. We paid with a gift card I got for Christmas 2 years ago and I think it didn't read properly when swiped so Brittany had to manually type in the numbers. I'll start with the wait - way too long. I went on a Saturday morning with my book club (5 ppl total) and it was busy. We were given a 15-20 minute wait after being added to the waitlist (no reservations). About 45 minutes later and two subsequent check-ins with the hostess, we were finally seated. Once seated, our waitress quickly dropped waters on the table but didn't stop to ask what we wanted to drink and didn't come back until I flagged down a passing waitress to ask if there would be someone waiting on our table. Therefore since getting to the restaurant, we didn't order food until about an hour or so into the visit. So needless to say, that didn't leave a good taste in my mouth (pun intended...). Fast forward to the food - it's a pass for me. I tried the HEALTH FREAK COMBO and the pancake was okay. I asked for Swiss cheese to added to my omelet but it wasn't . It comes with chicken sausage that I had to ask for because that was forgotten as well. Once I got it though - they really could've kept it as I didn't enjoy it at all. I also had their JUST BEET IT and that was delicious. The restaurant itself is pretty spacious and there's room for large parties. There's indoor/outdoor seating but be prepared to wait. They do have the option of join the waitlist online while you're in route though so that's an option. Overall, my first impression was meh so I likely will not return. I joined the Turning Point Perks program and received a birthday reward of $15. So unexpectedly generous! I went for breakfast with a friend. She had the avocado toast with eggs. It was a nice portion size, and she thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I ordered the shakshuka, which is a new item on the menu. It's made with poached eggs and a spicy tomato sauce. The dish comes with plenty of toasted ciabatta bread for dipping. I was a bit disappointed because the tomato sauce was thinner than I would have liked. And the egg had a runny yolk. While this is a common way to poach an egg, I prefer to have a solid yolk. All shakshuka entrees that I've ever eaten had a solid yolk. I suggest that Turning Point servers ask their guests how well done they'd like the egg to be cooked to avoid disappointment. The server was very pleasant and attentive. Came to Turning Point on a Saturday around 2pm and it was crowded! I needed to see what all the hype was about. Despite it being busy, we didnt have to wait at all, which was nice. However, there were a lot of people sitting outside because we had really nice weather that day, in the summer months, I can probably see there being a bit of a wait time assuming business stays the same. We ordered a house cold brew, soft drink, warm cinnamon rolls, avocado smash benedict and breakfast combo. Despite our waitress advising that she would have to check to see if there were any cinnamon rolls left because it was later on in the day, they did end up having some and they came out really fast. Unfortunately, I would not order them again, they were still very doughy, certainly a bit underdone, and the cream cheese frosting was just okay, but they do give you a good amount. The good news is that they were only $8.95. So I'm certainly not upset about the price. The avocado smash benedict was very good, the bacon was thick and crispy, the Hollandaise sauce didn't taste too heavy, the eggs were poached beautifully, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The breakfast combo was also nice. A good variety. Two fluffy pancakes, eggs and the same potatoes (we opted for no meat). All in all, it was just a decent, run-of-the-mill breakfast. I'm dying to go back, but the service was really nice, and the restaurant is spacious and clean. While the cinnamon rolls were pretty cheap, each of our dishes were almost $16 which seems pretty steep for what seems to be typical diner food. For the appetizer, two entrees, coffee and soft drink we spent about $50. I don't think I'd come back on my own accord, but if someone invited me I would definitely go. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for breakfast but it was very disappointing. It's great that you can add your name to the waitlist before you arrive. Once we were seated it took a while for anyone to come over to us. Then we were brought water but no glasses. I had a few changes to my order such as bacon on the side and well done muffin without butter but the order wasn't correct. Plus we waited maybe 40 minutes or more for our food. The server never came over to tell us what the hold up was, we had to flag him down. We noticed people who were seated after us getting their food long before we did. Not just for a table, but once seated the service moved extremely slowly -- it felt like we were waiting forever for drinks, food, and even basic check-ins from the staff. When the food finally arrived, it was just okay at best, but what really ruined it was the avocado that was served with my meal. We had a hankerin' for a nice breakfast and went to Turning Point. This place gets jammed on the weekends (good for them!) even in the summer. Fortunately for us, we visited on a weekday morning and there were plenty of available seats. While I perused the extensive menu trying to decide what to order, my wife already knew she wanted the blueberry lemon pancakes. She had thoroughly enjoyed them on a previous trip. Sadly, I must report that the pancakes weren't quite up to her expectations. While the portion size was hearty and the pancakes were filled with fresh blueberries, the food temperature was just lukewarm. The blueberries scattered around the plate were very cold, as though they just came out of the refrigerator. Perhaps these cold berries were also causing the temperature of the pancakes to be less than optimal. And the pancakes were a little dry, especially around the edges. I had an egg and cheese omelet with a toasted bagel and home fries. The omelet was delicious. The home fries were okay but a bit bland. I added some pepper to perk them up. The server was very nice and readily accommodated my wife's request for additional sugar free syrup. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, but were not as excited about them as we had hoped to be. Will we return? Probably, but maybe not as soon as we might have if our meals were exceptional. read more

We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the friendly staff. Our server was excellent--super helpful and gave us a nice overview of the menu and specials. We started with the Jamaican French press coffee, which was rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes (a generous stack of three) topped with warm syrup--so fluffy and flavorful! My mom chose the tropical strawberry waffle, my dad had the Western omelette, and my husband went with a cheddar and mushroom omelette. The omelettes came with home-fried potatoes, and an english muffin, and everything was cooked perfectly. I sampled a bit of everyone's dish, and honestly, it was all so tasty. After the French press, we ordered a regular carafe of coffee, which was also fresh and satisfying. From start to finish, the service and food were both excellent. They also allow you to order 1 or 2 French Toast pieces instead of a standard huge plate I would never finish. We really really liked this place. First off -- all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even though they were packed and had a wait list, everyone was calm and happy. Food was very good and tailored to your requests. We had excellent personable service. Most folks were enjoying breakfast, but I felt more like lunch. I ordered their chopped salad without onions or cheese. It was very good. I especially like the chicken and bacon on it. I tried their lemon vinaigrette first. It went well with the salad and lettuce part of my meal. But I preferred the cilantro honey Dijon dressing with the chicken part. I'd get both next time. My husband enjoyed some cheese grits. And was fine to wait for his warm cinnamon rolls to be baked. When they came, they were hot from the oven. The gal proceeded to add the sugary topping "to taste". My husband had her drizzle on a lot! We tried Turning point again now that it's been open awhile. We won't be returning. We ordered 2 dishes. Both were eggs, however, I asked for my potatoes to be well done. After my guest was 3/4 finished with his meal, I was presented with a fruit cup that I did not order.i knew at that point, something was up with my order. After patiently waiting my eggs they came out cold. The manager was called over. She told me that the reason they were cold was my fault because I ordered well done potatoes and they are cooked in a separate oven than the eggs. A well run kitchen knows how to coordinate different temperature foods and have the table food orders served together. This is an awesome Breakfast spot in west Boynton. It's located on the corner of Boynton Beach and Hagan Ranch, in the same plaza as Whole Foods. Have to say that is might be our new favorite breakfast spot now!! The restaurant is new and super clean, staffs are very nice and accommodating. We ordered some lemon berry blue (blue berry sparkling lemonade) it's not bad. Then we ordered chicken and waffles, omelet and a combo plates. We thought all the plates were delicious. I was happy a new breakfast place was opening in Boynton and close by. The place is clean inside with just enough decorations. The service was on point! These employees hustled, they all were non stop, well organized, moved swiftly from station to station. The food was served hot and cooked to perfection, the potatoes were very tasty, I don't use much salt so these were seasoned (for me) perfect. Our server was Nicole whom was friendly and efficient. We came here a few days ago for breakfast- it was really good! Service was a bit slow because they were packed, but everyone was super friendly and they gave us some free fruit due to the wait. We sat outside because the weather was perfect, the outdoor area is great. I went inside to use the bathroom and it's very nicely decorated in there, too. I got the vegan pancakes, they were so good! I work in the area and often go to lunch alone. Today was the 2nd time I tried to eat here to no avail. I sat at the "bar" both times, and was ignored both times. First time I was there for 15 minutes without any water, coffee or acknowledgement. I also had to get up and ask for a menu. The second time which was today I sat there for 10 minutes with my menu in front of me without any acknowledgment whatsoever before I gave up and left( both times). Servers walk by me did not acknowledge me. Did not make that contact a Bus person was talking to a couple seated right next to me, but didn't acknowledge my existence or getting anyone to try to take my order. Paul and I decided to have lunch here after two doctor appointments. It was a Tuesday at 2 pm. We quickly took seats at the high-top bar. It really wasn't very crowded at this time but it took awhile before we were able to order and another longtime to have the food delivered. I asked the waiter at the end why everything was so slow. He basically blamed the chef staff saying that all the training wasn't complete. They are only still getting it together since opening less than 2 months ago. The Company is growing in leaps and bounds. He said this is their 33rd location and more to open very soon in Wellington, Boca and Melbourne.
