Additional reasons why they are awesome include: (1) You don't need an appointment to see the optometrist but you should call ahead because she is not there every day. (2) They accept my insurance (Davis Vision) and a bunch of other ones. (3) They stay open until late (9:30 PM) during the week which allows me swing by after work. (4) They understand that random things happen. For example, I lost my last pair of contacts down the drain a couple hours before I was headed out to see a play in the city. An hour later I got an eye exam, they contacted the insurance and I was walking out with a new pair of contact lens. I have also gotten an old pair of designer sunglasses fixed here when other places couldn't because they weren't be made anymore. I am definitely a loyal customer and will keep coming back!

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Easy and quick service. Never more than 5 mins wait…read moretime. Glasses come on time and they send text messages to keep us updated for appointments and pick ups. I, once stepped on my glasses two days after I got them and they replaced them at no charge. They even went above and beyond to give me an interim pair while I waited for my new specs. Anne Marie has been the manager for as long as I remember and she is amazing. Always greets me by my name and remembers my prescription even when I don't!!!!! Such a nice and friendly environment, rather than a factory that some medical practices have become.

These glasses were new and were looked at before I left them, I received a call a week later that there was an issue and another call ten minutes later that they had broken them. According to them, the issue was mine since the frame was flimsy. When I complained I was told they were not responsible for frames brought into vision center, something they did not say initially. Now I am forced to bring another pair (why so they can break them) or now pair more for one of their glasses. I am really shocked and hurt by the lack of accountability. I will not be returning to this establishment. They do not deserve any stars!

I met Mark and he was professional, friendly, kind and experienced. He gladly took it in even though I didn't buy the frames from him to make the necessary fitting adjustments and came back out in a few minutes completing the task at no charge. It was a very pleasant visit and I will be coming back soon for my next pair of glasses to purchase from him. Highly recommended!

When his shop relocated from Howard Beach, there was no doubt that we'd follow to his new location! His customer service is exceptional and if there's any dissatisfaction, he does his utmost to make the customer happy. We've probably ordered over 10 pairs of glasses through Mark and his team over the last 15 years. The turn around time is exceptional - I don't think we've ever waited more than a few days for our new glasses. He has also fixed a few pairs for us, even if they were not purchased there or if we purchased them years ago. AND he has also been known to hand deliver them in a pinch - truly the best. If you need optical services, stylish daily frames or sunnies, or optical advice from the best in the business, definitely stop by. I would suggest calling Mark before stopping by because Covid has everything out of sync - but with the minuscule chance that you miss him, he always returns your call promptly :)

I am so grateful for them taking me in I had an infection. When I walked in the office they greeted with happy cheerful smiles and everyone was so nice and happy, the doctor was on another level of greatness. I took my whole family for an exam the next week. What's more amazing is my mom doesn't speak English and they didn't get annoyed with her they took time to find glasses for her, worked with her and made her feel comfortable. I asked since when that was the policy, because I know that isn't true, and she claimed it was "company policy." I asked her to call the manager, and she said he was out at dinner with his family. She then called someone else, but that person was no help either. Instead of answering my questions or explaining the policy, they couldn't handle being questioned and the guy on the phone actually said to call security. I've purchased several pairs of sunglasses from this store in the past, but I will not be spending another dime here. I walked around the corner to Cohen's, and they adjusted my glasses with no questions asked. That's what real customer service looks like.

I'm in a Sunglass Hut, not a Walmart, but by no means an expensive store. I felt it was an unnecessary comment, judgy in fact. We were on a road trip all day and we're dressed comfortably. It shouldn't matter what we wear, our wealth isn't defined by our dress. This mall isn't high-end so maybe they have problems with theft, but if my son broke the pair it wouldn't be an isssue for us to buy it.
