Great service from John!!! He was amazing and patient and helped me find the right pair of shoes!

Shoes that were recommended for post op and comfy enough for swelling and relearning how to stand and walk.

The man and woman who helped me were very knowledgeable about post-op surgery shoes. Showing me shoes that are sturdy and supportive for when I start to relearn how to walk. They showed me different shoes that were recommended for my situation and were very helpful while not rushing me.

Amber at Fleet feet is so knowledgeable about the needs of the athlete. She was very patient and very informative. I can't believe I went five years without buying a new pair of running shoes.

I'm not a huge fan of pink, but my feet have never been this comfortable on this trail

I wish I'd caught the name of the salesperson who assisted me because she was wonderful and I'd like to thank her. If you're a brunette with an athletic build and I'm guessing between the ages of 25-35, I'm talking to you. Thank you. Seriously....thank you!!!! After years of buying whatever they have on sale at a store that doesn't specialize in athletic shoes (usually Costco), I finally decided to treat myself to real shoes. After measuring my foot and arch and analyzing my walk, she selected the Berry Superfeet insoles and 3 potential pairs for my specific needs. Sometimes what you need and what you want don't work together. What I want is ultra light-weight, has a sole that's as thin as possible without losing durability, a shoe that let my toes feel like they're gripping the ground like I'm barefoot. The 1st pair are a cute grey and purple pair that were ok, but one of my heels kept slipping. Out comes pair #2 and they are NEON pink, which to me is heinous, hideous, horrendous or any other bad H word you can think of. Crap, I think, I hope these things aren't comfortable. I try them on. They're amazing. I walk around in them. Even more amazing. Oh man, please don't love these shoe, please let them be $200. I look on the display wall and, of course, they're $10-20 cheaper than the other 2 pairs. I try them without the insoles. Yup, still comfortable. I cannot justify form over function. I don't even bother to try on pair #3. I leave from the store and head straight to a golf course. These shoes, unlike every other pair I own that give me blisters in creative places until I've broken them in, are SUPER comfortable. I've worn them on the mountain trails in Los Gatos that I frequent and my feet have never been so comfortable. She really did help me find the perfect pair of shoes and insoles for my needs. A+

    Soft support: love these!

I wandered around for a bit and appreciated being able to browse on my own before heading back to the register to ask for help. I wanted to try on the Osprey Fairview and Sojourn packs with weight added so I could get a realistic feel for how they'd carry. I was directed to the fitting counter and met Kira -- and she is amazing. To give you an idea of how much she was juggling: she was already helping another customer with a backpack fitting, assisting me, and keeping an eye on two additional customers on the floor. Despite being clearly busy, she was calm, attentive, and intentional with each of us. She truly took the time to understand our individual needs and concerns. When I explained that I wanted to try the packs with added weight, she suggested going through a proper fitting to ensure the best ergonomic setup. While the Osprey fitting didn't go as planned Kira immediately shifted gears and offered an alternative option without hesitation. She was incredibly supportive, validating, and encouraging throughout the entire process. What could have been a disappointing experience turned into a positive one because of her empathy and professionalism. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone needing backpack fitting support or guidance. She went above and beyond -- truly exceptional customer service. Please give her a raise. She absolutely deserves it.

As they had no more in stock, I asked the two men working there if they could order me one from a different store, and they said they had already done that for someone today so they weren't going to do it again. What kind of customer service is that? So lazy. I called the Gilroy store, which was very friendly and has my item in stock. They also told me the Capitola store could have easily request it be transferred but rather that deal with those two knuckleheads again I'm making the drive to the outlets today.

They refused pointing to a policy about not refunding items greater than $65. They offered an exchange. They pointed out a small sign below the cash register that called this out. The sales associate mentioned nothing of this policy. It's poor business practices and awful customer service like like this that is killing brick and mortar businesses. And the sales associate who refused the return even called the store manager to confirm and no exception was made. If you want to buy sports merchandise at the Capitola Mall, skip Sports Fever and head a little further down to M@trix Santa Cruz. Their prices seem better anyway.

As well as other non Bay area teams. It's located in the upper left side of the mall. The owner is friendly. I've been shopping at his various stores for years back when he was located by Khols, then moved to the back of the mall by Target. Eventually he relocated to downtown Santa Cruz, in the pacific garden mall (then known as Sports Xtreme) this store is fully stocked and whatever the don't have he will order it for you. I would've given 5 stars but when I went in today looking for a 49ers hat that was very hard to find and the woman at the register seemed uninterested in my purchase and took forever to ring me up. I was the only person in the store. The owner was very frustrated with her. I get it minimum wage, minimum effort but that is ridiculous at least pretend like you are happy to be there. It's the only place in Santa Cruz that sells authentic sports gear. Not sure if I will be back based on my experience today. Not sure what the hiring process is like, rest assured you will be out of business if you continue to hire workers that act like they would rather be somewhere else.

Let's face it, shopping is tricky these days for everyone. Truthfully I never thought I would become a person that would obsess over a pair of sneakers, but as soon as I saw the blue Nike court vision low online, I knew I had to have them. After going to three different locations with no luck they had my size here. When I arrived at the store, I walked in and was greeted right away. They have someone at the front desk who asked if I was shopping or pickup. The associate was very polite to me, at first I did not see the shoes. She checked in the back for me and was literally back in 10 minutes. I tried them on, they are so comfortable and I was lucky because they were the last and only pair left in the store (in my size too) it was meant to be lol. When she rung me up at the register, then checked my account and told me I had ten dollars in rewards points, so I used those points to save money. Overall I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I will continue to shop at famous footwear - thank you
