She said they would match that price if I could prove that to her. I said I had a piece of paper in my car that had a photo of those Stegmann shoes and the price on it. I asked her if I got it for her would she give me the discount and match the Stegmann price. She said she would. I walked back to my car and got it, and she then told me it wasn't the same shoe when they were identical. I had the photo there to show her. She was very rude to me and refused to honor what she had said about matching the price. This is an inappropriate way to treat a customer. Please respond to my complaint. Rita

I purchased Lems primal 3 shoes online on Feb 19th. I wore them on a 4 day work trip (think walking…read morethrough airports, and around town a bit) and they were blown out in multiple spots, and the laces coming apart. Obviously really poorly made. I reached out to the shop to see if they could help and they told me they'd put in a warranty claim with Lems. About a month later I checked in and they said they were still waiting to hear back. I'm sitting here yet another month later and haven't heard anything. I've never bought a pair of $120 shoes that lasted 4 days and I was stuck with. Won't be purchasing from this shop or buying Lem(on)s again.

Little did they know that I'm willing to eat rice and beans for a month if it means getting a great pair of boots. The selection isn't particularly stellar by most standards (i.e. San Francisco, NY, Chicago, etc.), but as far as Boulder boutiques go, this shop has the market cornered on fashionable footwear that can't be found at Nordstrom. I'd like to give it a better review, but in all honesty, the treatment I receive by staff is a big part of patronizing shops like this - and I didn't get a warm, or even acceptable, reception. If you're not sporting an "I've got cash to spend" attitude, then I doubt you'll get a friendly, much less helpful, welcome.

The store decks looked sweet and you get a huge 20% if you buy store brand! This is what we ended up doing, getting store deck and wheels. You also get cheaper grip if you rock all black, and cheaper trucks if you rock silver... but that includes the indie trucks! Overall we got my sister a super sick board for a very fair price. I recommend this skate shop for anyone new to skating wanting to learn more from the workers, or any veteran who just wants a durable machine. Basically, this is the spot for any skater. This is a really fun store to peruse and shop at - particularly if you aren't looking for anything…read morein particular. I've scored skinny jean overalls for under $50 (yeah sale rack!), killer tank tops for under $30, and amazingly fun printed jeans. Online orders (I like to check there for mega sales) may also be returned directly to this store. While many of the items are flowy they do specialize and carry lots of smaller sizes. Particular lengths (like petite) may be purchased online. There are lots of accessories here to try on and check out. From corduroy scrunchies, to earrings, to sunglasses and purses you are sure to find something you like. The store can be crowded on the weekends (particularly when CU is in session) so I recommend going in on a weekday if you find yourself down this way. I've found the staff to be cordial, with some being friendlier than others. Overall, clean store with colorful and unique pieces to peruse.

I started using La Sportiva climbing shoes in the 80's and, my opinion, they make the best shoes and boots for mountain sports. Evan and coworker were taking care of at least 5 customers at a time and doing a great job. He had deep knowledge of each shoe and asked good questions to get me into the right boots. I overheard other customers getting excellent assistance as well. Having worked in several outdoor gear shops, I recognize superb staff when I see it. Kudos Team Sportiva.
