They really take their time to make sure the customer gets the right shoes! I didn't feel rushed or unwanted which is definitely a unique experience! They measure your bare feet and make sure you are getting the right size shoes, then they watch how you walk to see what kind of arch support you need, and after that they have you try on several pairs till you find the ones that feel the best! This is a great running store! I have been here multiple times to buy shoes and orthotics and other running gear. I had a pair of shoes I got from them that gave me shinsplints on the first run. I happened to hear about Fleet Feet's weekly pub run through word of mouth. What a fun discovery! The Wednesday night pub runs are a total blast! I would not particularly call myself a 'runner', but I do love jogging, walking and staying active. I've already recommended Fleet Feet Sports Burbank to a couple of co-workers. I liked that Fleet Feet actually measured my feet, watched me walk, and recommended walking shoes for me. She was able to size them right on and understand that I was narrow on one foot and standard on the other and that both were slightly pronated, more on one than the other. It took all of the guesswork out of buying shoes. I went in to buy one pair, but wound up buying two because both felt so comfortable on and supportive of my feet. read more

Went in there for shoes for hiking/standing all day in and for flat feet. The whole store I only had two choices and only one of them came in my size . A waste of time . I went to lady footlocker in the Westfield shopping center and they took care of me with 5 choices and cheaper pricing . If you have a more popular size foot and less needs you would probably have a better time here . read more

My daughter needed new athletic shoes and also insoles for her flat shoes that she won't stop wearing. Her physical therapist suggested Fleet Feet, which I had already known about and had planned to stop in. They have a really big selection and knowledgable sales people. I never right reviews but the service here was so good that i had to let folks know about it, if you're looking for anything walking/running related this store should be your go to spot! This is probably the least intimidating running store i have ever walked into with an incredibly friendly and patient staff, perfect for the newbie runner. During my visit, I came in with knee pain and the owner took me through their FIT process and identified the perfect running shoe for me! Not only that, the owner was able to tell from watching me walk/run the most likely culprit of my knee pain and recomended several exercises to help strengthen my knee (so far actually seems to be helping). It is awesome that Burbank has finally gotten its own "real" running store!!!!! read more

A+ experience, same as most the other reviewers. If you're going to shop for running supplies or shoes at a brick and mortar, this is the place to go. There's something really nice about being able to purchase running equipment at a local brick and mortar shop dedicated to the sport. I was resigned to big box approach, but was pleasantly surprised to find this option. I will say that the pricing is exactly what I expected: nothing seriously discounted (but nothing out of line). I paid retail for my new Netwons, but they are boutique shoes that are hard to find much discount on even online. Where you do see them discounted they are either suspiciously cheap, or merely 5-10% cheaper. You can always find better prices online, and that's the elephant in the room. But I don't think Fleet Feet is trying to beat the online retailers. I think the point is to give you a better experience than you would get buying shoes at Big 5, Sport Chalet, Sports Authority (all in Burbank) etc. etc. And for that, they are a huge win. No doubt I will probably never visit Sports Authority or the like when it comes to running supplies. Sure, I'll still shop online - but all my running "brick and mortar" business has been won over by Fleet Feet. It feels really good in my bike / run training that I have a running store partner to go with my local bike shop.....it's great to have people to talk to about the sport and the trends, etc. read more

What a great experience, Leo did a computer measurement of my feet and told me exactly what I should be wearing. I just recently started running, and I have been getting terrible blisters from my shoes. A friend suggested I go to Fleet Feet to find the right shoes and socks for my needs. I was helped by Sam, and she was wonderful. She really took the time to help me find the right shoes, and I learned so much about my feet that I didn't know. She also informed me of free events they have that I am welcome to join. It was a great experience for me, even if it was a bit pricey for my taste. I went into Fleet Feet to get the next model of shoes that I wear, and Colin greeted me right away, measured my feet and made sure that I got the right size. The newest model was scheduled to arrive the following week, so he took my name and number and said he was going to call when they arrived. Five minutes after I left, he called to tell me that had just arrived. I turned around, walked back into the store and Colin had me try on the new shoes, made sure they were the right fit and talked to me about what to look for in the fit (because I have arthritis in my toes), and made sure I was comfortable in the shoes.
