I had a great experience at Fleet Feet today. I have plantar fasciitis and my orthopedist sent me here for inserts. This was my first time there and they were busy. Camilla came out to help me and she was awesome. They scanned my feet, had me walk over a mat to see my arches and where I put pressure on my feet. I tried two different kinds of insoles, tried on some socks for PF and purchased a new pair of tennis shoes. Did i need the shoes? No. We're they super cute? Yes. I never felt pressure to buy the shoes, either. My main goal was the insoles. She cut them down to fit my new balances that I wore into the store and they fit great. I may get a second pair to wear with my Rothy's that i wear to work most days to make those more comfortable. Thanks for the help, Camilla and Fleet Feet! I will be back! read more

This is not the place if you want to pick up a pair of Nike's or sale shoes. This is the real deal if you care about your feet! I'm not a runner, but they treated my gait and walk seriously and fitted me with Hoka's that are absolutely dreamy. Don't let the running gear turn you off if you're over 60. It's a decent shop, but they focus quite a bit on apparel and accoutrements; one third of the shop is actual shoes, two-thirds of the shop is everything else but shoes. I will never buy another pair of shoes from fleet feet, I was not impressed After buying my shoes - I kept having problems with the treads on the bottom of the shoes and more than once would almost trip.. Then it happened I took a terrible fall landed face down on my left kneecap, which took the brunt of the fall .not only because of the treads kept tripping me u p but I felt my shoes not fit properly and I had not had that kind of problem with the treads on other shoes I had. read more

I was amazed! One of the owners, Jeff Wells, helped me and was incredibly knowledgeable and so upbeat! I was coming off a 3 month recovery from a tib/fib fracture and Jeff guided me to walking shoes that fit like a dream. And he was so full of information about the inside info on how the manufacturers size the shoes. I ordered a new pair of running shoes. Received the incorrect size. Scheduling the appointment to exchange/return was wonderful. The lady on the phone was kind and knowledgeable of the process. Arrived at my appointment, still pleased with the process. After all, mistakes happen. Appointment going good...until small talk...The young man leading my fitting told me about his warehouse job during the pandemic. "He was so thankful for his degree" I did not point out that he is working at Fleet Feet. He also was mortified that the warehouse workers were "content to make $12 hr and smoke cigarettes." Shame on you. This country has and is being carried on the backs of these workers. We should all be thankful. I would have bought a pair of shoes (not just exchanged). His superiority, and narrow minded views made me walk out without a pair of shoes. read more

The sales associate was fantastic! She did not rush me and she upsaled socks and shoe liners with no pressure. Her recommendations were really great so I truly felt like there was a benefit to the extra purchases. I was allowed to take the shoes for a test on the sidewalk and take my time with each pair. Great service and great products. I was waited on immediately. Kat (the rep) was friendly and attentive the whole time - and I was there for a while trying on different shoes, insoles, and socks. I was grateful for how patient she was with me as I wavered back and forth on what I needed and wanted. Then she did a gait analysis, followed by the fancy 3-D foot analysis. She walked me through what it all means - arch, volume, length, width, etc. The results proved me wrong on a few things. It was like I was wearing the wrong bra size all my life! Kat answered the many questions I had. Then, we tried on six different pairs of shoes. She was attentive to my assessment of how they fit, and even encouraged me to take a test run outside! She found one pair that I loved so much I bought them and wore them home, donating my old raggedy shoes. And, with an insole I liked, she identified another pair good for my workouts. This is not the kind of place that tries to rush you to pick something and get out. Of course they have to make sales as a business, but I didn't feel Kat pushed products on me I didn't actually need or that wasn't related to what I came in for. read more

I put off getting new running shoes due to the pandemic and was in dire need of a new pair. I was looking forward to the experience of shopping again and was sorely disappointed. The store was stuffy (it was obvious the a/c was not running) and had a funky smell when I walked in and it was busy. No one greeted me as I walked in and I walked over to the women's shoes area to wait for the salespeople to acknowledge me. A woman closest to where I was looking said hello, but that's it. I walked around and still no one asked what I was looking for or even bothered to say we'll be with you in a few. I found myself standing there thinking how long is too long to wait for someone to say something? I realized I had already waited too long. I mean I was potentially going to spend $200 on shoes and no one could acknowledge I was even in the store waiting to be assisted? Needless to say, I walked out. I was so disappointed. read more
