That loyalty made my most recent visit all the more disappointing. I had a 10:50am appointment. The day before, Felicia texted asking if I could push to 11am. I said I'd try to rearrange my plans. She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

I called to make an appointment and told them I wanted to get a gel manicure and a pedicure. They said that would be fine and that I could come in later. Once arrived the owner asked to look at my nails. Apparently I have something called extensions (aka tips) and that she couldn't just do a regular gel manicure. She then says, in English, right in front of my face, that she had asked me three time (pointing to me) what I wanted and clearly I am stupid because I didn't say something about extensions. All of the customers were looking at me and all of the nail techs were laughing and looking right at me. Extremely unprofessional behavior. I am not a nail professional and clearly wasn't educated on what I was supposed to ask. I will never give my money to this business again due to the lack of respect for their paying customers. I saw their deal for eye lash extension here on yelp when I was searching. It said first time customer can get for $50. so I called in and was told that I can get 70 lashes for each yeys and total is 140. Well i have never done this before so I didnt know how many lashes are more and less. Anyways, i just thoght to give it a try so went there last week. who did my eye lash was Emily, and was very professional and so nice. i definitely come back for fill coz I was told its cheaper if i do within 3 or 4 weeks. I absolutely love how I look now lol!! It was plus for me that they had their own parking space for customers too. read more

Before my trip to Korea, I got a pedicure from Kana and loved it so much that I came back to see her again today. My first pedicure lasted beautifully throughout my trip, and this one is just as perfect. Kana is such a sweet, friendly, and talented Japanese nail technician. She pays attention to every detail and always makes me feel comfortable. I live in Koreatown, but I happily drive to Mid-Wilshire for my pedicures here. One thing I really love is that they keep the front door open, so there's always fresh air flowing through the salon. The salon is clean, relaxing, and always smells wonderful. First of all, manager of this place looked some what pissed off the entire time I was there and yelling at employees out loud in her own language was not nice. This is the best place in town to get your nails done! I've been coming here for a couple of years to have my gel nails done! I love reverse French because it doesn't show the growth of the nail. My nails usually last 4 to 5 weeks! This never happened before! Great service, nice and clean store and I love the tea they offer me every time!
