She's got that perfect mix of being down to earth, while off-the-wall, having a great eye and an open mind. She can create exactly what you want or come up with something breathtaking on her own. There wasn't really another choice for me in terms of floral designer for my wedding. When she's travelling the world (for inspiration, right?), her seasoned staff doesn't miss a beat. I'm not sure how many floral designers out there you can put your trust in entirely and leave the details up to them, but she is definitely in that category. I should also mention we accidentally booked our wedding on Mother's day weekend when flower prices almost double. Kim was still able to create gorgeous flowers that didn't break our budget. Ordered a wedding bouquet and boutonnière for around $200 over the phone last minute (about 2 hours or so before closing on a Friday. We told them we wanted a blue & white flowered bouquet with some succulents and a boutonnière to match. They asked if we wanted to have specific flowers and we told them "no" (we understood it was a last minute project for them), as long as they were white and blue and included succulents. They agreed. They took my husbands debit card information over the phone and processed the order. My husband also gave them his phone number just Incase they needed to contact him for whatever reason regarding our order. We were to pick up the flowers before they closed that day @ 5pm for the weekend+Monday. We were very busy it being just days until our wedding so we sent my father in law to pick our order up. He refrigerated them once he got home. Later that night we stopped by their house to pick up the flowers. The boutonnière was perfect. It had a cute perfect little white flower and a small succulent. The bouquet was not what we ordered. No blue flowers or succulents and there were colors we didn't ask for. It consisted of white, pink and light green flowers (some were drying out, drooping and starting to get discolored or something) with random leaves that were partly wilted. Honestly it looked like it was a bunch of random flowers + leaves etc they were planning on tossing out soon. Had to find a florist the day before my wedding to get the right flowers that matched the rest of my wedding. Tuesday contacted the business asking for a refund of the bouquet. Told them they didn't give us what we ordered and we also thought it was unsightly (just being honest). Said we took some pictures. They weren't apologetic at all over the phone and just asked for the pictures that we mentioned we took. We asked why they didn't call us when they noticed they didn't have the correct flowers etc to complete our order and refunded us right there before making us something we didn't agree on. They ignored the question and made excuses. Told us they thought it was a beautiful bouquet for being last min (even though it wasn't what we ordered). Did not want to give us a refund. More excuses and rudeness. That went on for about 2-3 days. We told them how we didn't feel valued as customers etc. My husband told them I cried for an hour about the bouquet because I honestly hated it. Still refusing us a refund. Finally we brought up we'd have to take them to small claims. Which is a major inconvenience to us but we were ripped off and their customer service was awful. So they offered a partial refund. We agreed because we were just so sick of dealing with them. They asked for our address to send us a check in the mail. Two weeks later and still no check. Emailed them if they were still refunding us and they just responded with "I signed the check and it's in the mail". This place is trash. The customer service was C R A P. The owner is a greedy scam artist. There's other places in Monterey. Don't risk having the wrong flowers for your event and having to deal with the stress of them not wanting to refund you because the owner is cheap. *Update* Received partial refund, still can't believe how much of a b*ch it was to get. read more

I ordered a pricey arrangement and kindly requested twice if I could get a picture of the flowers before they were delivered. I was assured that it would be done. The flowers were delivered but I didn't get a picture and promptly called. I received a call back and was informed that a picture was not taken and furthermore I quote " not to make any excuses" but then got an excuse that they have flowers that go in and out quickly etc. ( wait a minute, isn't that an excuse?). It that is the case then that should have been stated when I placed the order. Disappointing because I have no idea what I paid for. Sending photos of arrangements especially when requested is just good customer service. All of the florists I order do so. read more

I don't even know where to begin, but I will keep it short and simple. This is where you need to go for all your flower needs and events!!! I originally had planned to make my own bouquet for our elopement but when I walked into the beautiful shop I was overwhelmed by the array of beautiful flowers everywhere! But Kim instantly jumped to help me out and pick flowers then she asked if I wanted them to make my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere. I graciously accepted all and any help! They made it within 20-30 mins and it came out better than i even imagined. It brought tears to my eyes seeing the bouquet i envisioned come to life. I would go there weekly if I lived in that area. If i could give them zero stars, I would. My family ordered an arrangement for the presidential table for my aunt and uncle's 25th wedding anniversary on July 2nd, but it was never delivered. The order was confirmed almost a month earlier (June 7th), and we never got any notification that they would be running behind or unable to deliver. At the last minute, my aunt had to put together her own bouquet and it caused her unnecessary stress on her special day. Even though they didn't follow through on our order, they still charged us! When we called for a refund, their apology was insincere and lacked compassion. While they did begin the process to refund us, I would never order from this company again. read more

I absolutely love this flower boutique!!! The staff is friendly and helpful, but will also let you wander about and find your way. I am never disappointed and I'm so glad to see they bring in a different assortment of flowers you won't find at your local market. If I there was a zero rating, I would! I ordered a table arrangement for our presidential table for our 25th Anniversary 3 days ago but it NEVER arrived! It was 1 arrangement! Imagine if I ordered several arrangements! My husband and I were looking forward to celebrate this day but instead I had unnecessary stress before the party began. Although they recognize it was their fault, she seemed to point the finger to the driver of what happened when I think the driver had no fault in this situation. I placed this order 1 month ago with Hannah over the phone. Kim couldn't even find my order when she mentioned that their process is so efficient. I ordered my corsage and boutonniere for prom here. The lady's were very helpful and really nice. I explained what I wanted briefly by showing a couple photos and giving specific colors. I paid around $120 for both. When I came to pick them up, I wasn't happy with what I saw. Maybe I should have explained what I wanted in more detail. I could see glue, plastic and there was one huge rose with some leaves. I don't like to complain, I'm not very good at it haha. I asked the lady at the front of there was a way to make it so the plastic was not showing and she was honestly shocked when I showed her what the corsage looked like up close. She apologized and began to add more flowers and greenery to fill the spaces. This review would have been 3 stars, if they hadn't been so polite when I asked them to fix the issues on the corsage. All I knew for sure was that I wanted my bridal bouquet to have ranunculus in it. I emailed Christie pictures of what I wanted and they also worked with my budget. When our bouquets got delivered they were more beautiful then what I had imagined. I was in awe with how great they turned out. I had originally wanted shells incorporated in my bridal bouquet but once I saw the arrangement I knew shells would have taken away from the overall beauty of the flowers. Absolutely beautiful unique fresh floral arrangement I have ever received, thank you for brightening my day

After sending some very detailed e-mails to this florist, they assured me they knew exactly what I was looking for. When I picked up the flowers for my elopement, that was not the case. The flowers in my hoop bouquet were the wrong colour- I asked for pale, pale purple roses but got dusty rose. I was unhappy with their use of fillers - that did not look good and were pink - not what I asked for. I also asked for a gold hoop but instead received a wooden one wrapped in cheap gold-ish ribbon. When I got there the employee said, "Oh we would never use a metallic hoop." Something they should have told me beforehand! There was a complete lack of correspondence on their end, except a couple replies along the lines of, "Yes, we get the idea." After complaining about everything to the employee, she gave me the boutonnière for free (I was also unhappy with it but wasn't too fussed about it). A small consolation for ruining this small but important detail of our special day. Two stars given because if I saw the hoop in a picture for someone else's wedding I might think it was kind of pretty but it was soooo not what I asked it to look like. read more
