Their lowest price bouquet was delivered. It looks nothing like the size of the arrangement online; not as full, not as many flowers. It has been here for 2 days and is already wilting even though i have trimmed the stems and put new water in the tiny pot. I purchase little short stemmed bouquets of flowers at the farmer's market for $2.50 the look like this, but have more flowers. I know they provide a container and have overhead, but $70 for this is criminal. read more

Fionna Floral did the flowers for my wedding, which were minimal but they were willing to help. I provided a few photos for inspiration/price point and let them do what they wanted. They even made a special headband for our 6 month old flower girl. Since the order was small, we had to pick up the flowers but it gave our helpful family something to do the day of the wedding!! I used Fionna Floral for the last couple of years for my special occasion flowers. I have to say this time I was disappointed in the arrangement I purchased. I have been happy in the past with them. This last arrangement wasn't anywhere near the quality I've experienced before. I happened to stop in to Lucky's today and I thought I'd look at what they had for comparison. I saw some arrangements that were of better quality and much more attractive at 1/2 the price I paid at Fionna's. I noticed when I picked up my flowers it looked like they were working on a large order. Maybe they just didn't have time for mine. Fionna Floral are miracle workers. For our wedding, we made the huge mistake of choosing another florist with a lower quote thinking, 'Flowers are flowers, right?' Not at all! The DAY BEFORE the ceremony, we went to pick up from these other guys, and they were a disaster! Wilted, browning, and hardly arranged. We walked out with nothing. What could we do? We made an emergency call to Wendy at Fionna. We still don't know how they did it. The next morning, they had an entire wedding prepared. Bouquets, boutonnieres, table arrangements, everything! Perfectly in our colors. They had even cautioned that the lilies, our most wished-for flower, weren't open yet and would have to be substituted ... yet in the morning, there they were! The ladies had hand-opened them, delicate and perfect. Every wedding has it's crazy stories, and this is one we tell year after year. We were in town for a few days and I needed a floral arrangement for our daughter's birthday to take back home with us. I let the staff person who was assisting me know that our daughter had an older cat and I had become aware that there are certain flowers and green plants that are toxic to cats. She was totally understanding of my issue and wanted to let me know that she too had a cat and was knowledgeable about which flowers and plants were okay to have inside a home with cats. I left the store and came back several hours later to pick up the flower arrangement for our daughter's birthday. It was stunning! The gorgeous arrangement was filled with roses in various colors and sizes. The remaining greens were ones that added to the beauty of the arrangement but were safe for cats. We used Fionna for our October 2018 wedding in Monterey. They were phenomenal, can't say enough about how magical their work made our event. They start the partnership by listening to what you want, they then create a sample and then listen some more. I had very specific flowers and greenery directions that they followed to a tee. No creative issues with their vision vs. yours. But they still created pieces that were artistic and more beautiful then I could have envisioned. They're pricey but worth every penny. I am thrilled that I found Fionnna Floral! A dear friend of mine and his family suffered a very sad loss. I felt so helpless and wanted to do something to give them some love. I had little time and and I wanted I to create a beautiful gift of flowers, food and my letter on a pretty card and deliver it all fast. A tall order! When I give a gift to someone in my own town I make it myself and spend a long time on it. I am very detailed about each color and kind of flower, the basket, or vase, the right gourmet food, and pretty cards with pretty pens so it is very aesthetic. From the first moment I spoke to Cloey I liked her and knew I was in good hands. She not only got all the specific colors, and treats and wrote out the card; they even had pretty pens! Cloey was just so lovely I wish I could hire her myself. Moreover, without requesting she took a photo of the basket! It was exactly what I wanted actually it was even better than my dream!!! Just gorgeous and the recipients of the gift were very appreciative and loved the basket. All this and Cloey delivered it the same day, was so efficient that it was just a breeze! I wish they could be in every state I send flowers and gifts to , in a word it was PERFECT! By the way, I called a prominent business and they said they could not do it and the manager told me that he had dealt with Fionna Floral and thought they were great! I couldn't have asked for anything else from these amazing people. I worked primarily with Wendy and she is an absolute doll. She really understood exactly the feel that we wanted for our wedding and she ran with it! It took minimal direction and she seemed genuinely excited to be involved in our day and to help us realize our vision. Their prices are about average and WELL worth it. Jenny and Sarah nailed it for my destination black tie wedding. From the beginning they were kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic. I was very cautious because not being local I was just going off of online reviews and pictures, but they really exceeded my expectations. I'm not someone who's very into florals, and I realized at our first meeting that I didn't know the names of like anything - but I am a perfectionist...so I never thought I would be telling people for weeks after my wedding that one of my most favorite parts of the wedding day was the flowers! They looked through my Pinterest, they made suggestions based on my preferences, and even though I made several changes to my order in the months leading up, they kept the order up to date and organized and never made me feel like it was an issue due to the time required or the changes in the quote. A couple of times they even traveled to meet with me to refine the order. As I was finishing getting ready, I was so excited to see the bouquets, and that was really the first moment everything felt like all of my planning was coming together and it was going to be exactly as I had hoped for. I took as many arrangements with me as I could. They were so sturdy and high quality... my wreath held up 6 hours in the car, and continued to open blooms in my living room for the next week- even when it dried up, it was still intact and beautiful. We had our dream wedding in Carmel Valley over the summer, and Fionna Floral played a major role in creating the beauty of our big day! I don't know what I would have done without Wendy! When I met with her less then a week before my wedding all our previous correspondence was through email. I went to her with some pretty scattered ideas and was fairly unsure of exactly what I wanted. In no time she organized all my thoughts into exactly what I wanted. It was all brought to life perfectly on the wedding day. Everyone was awed by the gorgeous centerpieces and snatched them all up to take them home without any prompting from me. There are only a few small things I'd change if I had the chance. The first being that my beautiful bridal bouquet was so big that I couldn't hold it very well even with two hands. I know that with any large bouquet this problem can arise but at other weddings I've been to they've added some kind of handle to help with that. Also the wrapping on it was fairly loose and that added to the difficulty of holding it. I ended up having to kind of bury my hands into the flowers themselves and hold on for dear life. The flower girl's small bouquet was much too large to fit into her little flower girl basket but that worked out fine because we just nixed the basket. Finally, I asked for a small lei of flowers for my poodle (the ring bearer) and, while the lei itself was beautiful, it was more people sized and was so large that she kept stepping on it and getting it caught in her legs. These were all very small details, though, and certainly did nothing to diminish our wedding. I fully recommend Wendy and Fionna Floral. :) read more

They decorated both Asilomar State Beach in Pacific Grove, where we had our ceremony, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club, where we had our reception. Both looked incredible! When we first spoke with Sarah, we spoke for almost an hour about our vision for our wedding. She then came back to us with a proposal, which was completely affordable, and had several options, which we then chose from. The studio designed our items to work both at the beach and at the reception, and it worked perfectly.
