It was a Saturday night and this tiny bar was jam-packed. We had to stand, but it was okay because we had only stopped in for one drink before heading to another restaurant for dinner. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. Prices are not inexpensive, but average to what you'd find in a downtown Chicago restaurant. The breakfast was a whopping $30 however, which I find kind of wild. Is it just that it's because the restaurant is inside a hotel? Maybe these are typical Chicago prices? Either way, plan to spend a fair bit to dine here.

He looked up at me, made eye contact & went back to writing. He continued writing (I took this as a challenge & started timing his ignorance). After 10 minutes of patiently waiting for him to come ask if I'd like a drink or food menu, I went up to the bar and asked if he could help me. He asked "what do you want?" "I'm thinking of a drink, since this is a bar, and maybe something to eat if you have a menu." A Woodford old fashioned was $20 - this location doesn't warrant Las Vegas pricing. Service sucks - night 2 was a replay. I watched 2 other groups of customers sit at a table, were ignored and then have to walk up to the bar to order and fetch their drinks.

For my second drink, I got the Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned which I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't hear anyone in our group be disappointed with what they ordered.
