Dingy dive bars are one of my favorite things ever, but even for me this place was a little *too dingy* and off so far off the grid that you may never find your way back. IF SMOKING OCCURS CALL THIS NUMBER XXX" We walk in, and with no surprise what so ever to us, there is a cloud of smoke surrounding the bar. SO, apparently they have gotten dinged before for the smoking thing, but continue to do it anyway. Literally every single patron at bar was smoking at the same time and the bartender did not say a word. That's fine, smoking aside. This place is dirty. And not like... a little dirty, like hasn't been TOUCHED since the 80's. There are raunchy lady posters on the ceilings collecting dust centimeters thick. Old trophies line the walls, and a cat lives here. Oh, yeah, a cat. He sleeps on the cigarette machine because "it's warm." They also sell T-shirts for $15 (that includes one free drink) and are biker friendly. The parking lot is pretty sketch. AND my favorite part, the regulars told us to be careful when leaving because cops sit right outside this place and basically pull anyone over that is leaving because it is a DUI hotspot. They also informed us that in this area almost every other bar has been shut down due to drugs and illegal activities. Things you need to know if you do come? It's cash only. You can order a domestic or a shot of liquor. It's locals only, but the service does come with a smile and thus, pretty much the only reason for the two stars.

Fortunately a couple got up from the bar as we were walking by. We enjoyed a couple beers. Since it was an event they weren't doing flights but were able to accommodate with a couple half pours so we could try something of the higher ABV offerings. There was a nice imperial IPA that was over 10% abv with a nice hop balance that I'm glad was available in a half pour. We didn't eat on this visit but lots of people were eating! The team behind the bar were super friendly and just the right balance of having fun and delivering great service. I wish it were closer. I really enjoy this spot!

He's also helped us before with getting light bowling balls for the kids and setting up the bumpers so they're only on when the children are using the lane. A lot of bowling alleys, built more recently than this one, don't offer that option. Yes, it's cash-only. Know this ahead of time and you won't have to bother with ATM fees (even if you do, though, the prices are good enough that you'll still end out on top compared to whatever other credit-card-friendly alley you were planning to go to). If there's an issue with the lanes or equipment, staff is right there to fix things. I've never had much of a delay for getting a wayward pin off the lane or a ball stuck at the end, or whatever else occurs at older and newer bowling alleys alike. A full bar is available, and the place is also equipped with a variety of coin-operated prize machines.

I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and Diet Mountain Dew (here's the thing, restaurants with Pepsi - if you're going to disappoint me with Diet Pepsi, at least have Diet Dew to save the day.
