carry out only: I randomly found them on instagram and started following so I could try the wings. They didn't disappoint! I ordered online at the West Chester location inside the brewery Alexandria I think. It's in a weird spot in the business district. Pick up was easy and it wasn't busy. Service was friendly. I got the double smash burger (regular one) with cheese only. Tots and 12 wings in dry rub. The burger was good. It could use more salt. It did have some seasoning that you could visibly see though. It was a pretty big burger! Not my favorite smash burger but it was good and i'd eat it again. The tots were fine. Much better after being tossed in the air fryer. The wings had great flavor from the dry rub. I would go back for the wings for sure. They were nice and crispy (which i think i may have requested). read more

Solid char on the smash burger. A little on the drier side though. I went with the classic smash and we did a side of deviled eggs and tots. The deviled eggs were buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken topping was good! Very friendly staff. Liked the new West Chester location for the vibe. A little tucked away but a good brewery feel. read more

The food was okay but the service was wonderful. I did only try the smoked wings but the ranch was delicious. The tater tots were a little salty for my liking but I intend on going back to try other items because I went to the west Chester location and I love Alexandria brewery that they are partnered with. Bender's Pub Grub is located inside Alexandria Brewing Company. My husband and I know the owners of ABC and we were down there for one of their releases. We decided to grab dinner while we were there. Oh. My. Goodness. Bender's is AMAZING! I had been waffling between ordering the chicken club sandwich or the wings. I am so so so glad I went with the wings! I got the wings with their Alabama White Sauce, which they make in house. I am now obsessed with this sauce! We even bought a small container of it to bring home. When I have my chicken nuggets for lunch, I've been using this sauce in them. So so so so so good! Bender's is a neat little business that complements the brewery well. Their menu isn't huge but it is sufficient! There are more things I can't wait to try. Their customer service is also excellent. The brewery was absolutely slammed when we were there and Bender's had specials to go along for the night. They told us to expect a 45-60 minute wait. My husband also ordered wings with the dry rub. Our food came out in way less than 45 minutes. We enjoyed chatting with the owners when they closed their service for the evening. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy their food again! read more

I hope others had a better experiences based on the reviews. We were really rooting for this place since Alexandria is the black hole for independent restaurants. We tried it on Mother's Day and arrived around 5:30 and placed orders by 5:45. Our simple fried aperizer came out at 6:45 (I know, nobody waits a hour before getting up to leave, but again, I REALLY wanted to like the place). Mom's salad was good enough grilled chicken wedge with bacon. The waffle was burnt on the chicken and waffle so my daughter didn't touch it, and the smash burgers were something you could just make at home on the flat top. You couldn't really just order a deluxe style smashburger with the garden and cheese. It was their style with a mustard slaw which I liked but suggest adding that burger a menu option by itself. We actually ordered with just classic deluxe LTO and my son asked for no cheese and of course it came with cheese and the exact same way all the others were made lol. We took a few bites and decided maybe today wasn't their best day and left the burgers on the table....$125.OO incluing a 15% tip for a non-existent waitress and the fam left pissed and hungry. 2 stars only because I HATE knocking an independent :( read more

Bender's Pub Grub is a spot inside the Alexandria Brewery. Got there on a Tuesday, so it was burger night. $6.95 for a single patty smash burger, with options for various prices. I had a loaded burger. $6.95, plus $2 for an extra patty (normally required for smash burgers), 50 cents for cheese, and so on (had bacon, avocado, and "the garden"). Around $12 for a burger and tots is not a bad deal (normally $15.95 on menu without everything). We also had a pretzel and beer cheese. How was the burger? Over salted. When I went back up to get a to go box, a guy was asking for no salt on his burger, so I am guessing the locals know better. I would also say the patties are big enough you can forgo the $2 charge on the extra patty. See picture. I also grabbed some wings. Mine were buffalo and South Carolina BBQ and my friends got Alabama White BBQ and Spicy Honey Mustard. Wings are nicely smoked and if I lived in the area, the Alabama White BBQ definitely took the prize. Picture has my wings and you can see the Alabama white in the picture looking down the bar towards the door. Pretzel? Good, but I am not a fan of the thicker Kentucky beer cheese. I won't knock the place, as this is a personal preference, but do note the beer cheese is more like a spread than a dip. I am torn if this is 3 - my experience - or 4, what it could be with a less salted patty. I am opting for benefit of the doubt and letting you know less salt is an option. I preferred the wings over the burger, so Wednesday Night would be a great option for someone who lives in Northern Kentucky. read more

I think that I had some of the best wings in my life ever yesterday. Just an overall life changing smoked wing. We arrived just around 6:15 but despite that service was very fast. The food got to us in maybe 15 minutes. The chicken and waffles were delicious. The chicken was hot and juicy and the waffle had a very good vanilla flavor in it. The tater tots weren't anything super special but still a good tater tot. Now to the wings, we got the wings with Alabama white bbq sauce. They were crispy, smoky, juicy and just perfect. My wife and I were pleasantly AMAZED by Bender's. We stopped by ABC mainly to just grab a beer, and while we were there, decided to "get something to eat". To our surprise, both our orders of Shrimp n' Grits and Chicken & Waffles were perhaps the BEST versions of those dishes we'd ever had (and we're both Chow Down Cincy "foodies"). IMHO, the name "Pub Grub" doesn't do Bender's justice. We'll definitely go back, but the next time will be for the beer AND the food! read more

I will have it again and again. I'm hoping seasonal tomatoes with come into play soon! I only knocked down a 1/2 due to the seating room but it may have just been a weird time. The addition of Bender's Pub Grub was just the added touch ABC Brewery needed. Bender's smoked Chicken Wings are the best in the city. The award-winning Smash Burger is worth the trip to Alexandria, KY. The sourthern flare of the Shrimp and Grits and Chicken Club sandwich will leave you craving more. Don't get me started about the amazing Pea Salad. We highly recommend visiting Bender's Grub for dinner or lunch. Bender's beats the other local restaurant, Barelycorn's, 100%. This place is a game changer for Alexandria. It is located inside of Alexandria Brewing Company and has elevated the experience 10 fold. They offer two weekly specials, $5 for 6 wings on Wednesday and a Burger Night on Thursday. I love the Kentucky Beer Cheese and the Fried Bologna Sandwich. Lora and her staff go above and beyond! We recently decided to have our food catered for a graduation party. They customized our menu, had plenty of food, helped loading the car and made sure we had everything we needed. I couldn't tell you how many people commented on how great the food was!
