Fantastic pizza! This spot was near our Orlando resort and easy for us to drive to for pick up. We got a large cheese and pepperoni pizza, plus free breadsticks due to our total dollar spent. They gave us a large container of marinara for the breadsticks (much appreciated). The pizza had a great balance of toppings and a rich sauce. The crust is filling, especially with breadsticks - just a lot of bread. Great service! So nice to find this local spot for takeout after a long day in FL. read more

There isn't anywhere inside to sit and enjoy your pizza. This is strictly a take it to go or delivery place. There are a couple of tables outside of the store but it was way too hot to do that. The location was clean and the staff was friendly. They also offer a military discount! They have a good menu and it's decently priced. We had some pretty basic pizzas - BBQ Chicken and Margherita. We also got the Toscana bread sticks. With the military discount it was about $60. The pizza was good but nothing to write home about or want to return during the remainder of our stay (another 4 days). read more

I have been wanting to try Flippers Pizzeria for quite some time and was so glad that I finally got a chance to try it! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! The menu has quite a few different options. There's a variety of pizza to choose from or you can customize/build your pizza the way you like it. There is also handhelds, salads, wings, cheese bread, bread sticks, broccoli, and dessert. There are even gluten free options as well. The pizzas come in 3 different sizes 11 inches, 13 inches, and 16 inches which are great portions and the prices are fair. Since it was my first time, I had lots of questions. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I was able to modify my pizza just the way I wanted it. I ordered the 11 inch traditional Cali classic with arugula instead of spinach and without peppers. So my pizza had fresh basil pesto base, arugula, red onions, aged mozzarella, and grape tomatoes. It was so delicious and flavorful. I wanted to try a few things to I also ordered the toscana cheese bread and bbq wings. The toscana cheese bread was prepared with melted garlic butter, aged mozzarella, romano, shaved asiago, fresh basil & oregano, side of pizza sauce. So delicious and filling on its own. I probably could have gotten that by itself and would have been full. The bbq wings were oven baked which was nice. They were good but next I may try the hot honey wings because the bbq from the wings and the tomato sauce and pesto sauce from the cheese bread and pizza kind of opposed each other and didn't mix well and on their own were great. I will definitely be back! Everything tasted like it was fresh and made with quality ingredients. Everything was so delicious. The ordering process was quick and easy and since I got my food to go, the restaurant included plates, napkins, and utensils. Even though I did not dine in, I notice the restaurant was nice and clean and new. Location was easy to get to and there was ample parking. With the exception of a few people coming in to pick up their order, the place was not busy....quiet ambiance. After overlooking the take out menu, I ordered an individual size bbq chicken pizza. After the 15 minute wait, I received my box of hot pizza and it smelled delightful. Unfortunately the pizza as a whole didn't wow my taste buds. Don't even waste your time looking at the menu. I was in town with my family and needed something quick and easy. We decided to try Flippers since it had better reviews on Google compared to other places. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We ordered sandwiches, a calzone, and pizzas--and honestly, we wish we had gone somewhere else. Sandwiches - Absolutely horrible! They were served on flatbread/pita bread, which was not mentioned anywhere. When you order a sandwich, you expect it on actual bread. Calzone - Just okay. The top was slightly burnt, which took away from the flavor. Pizza - Very disappointing. The crust was bland and completely lacked flavor. The four-cheese pizza was terrible, and while the Hawaiian pizza was decent, the crust still ruined it. To top it off, this place was overpriced for the quality. Wish we had gone somewhere else. Definitely not worth it. Only giving it 2 stars because it was edible and the man on the phonewas nice, otherwise it'd get 1 Star. read more

Poor delivery service from this restaurant. The pizza there is decent; we've eaten there twice. Last night we had baseball loving family visiting and we gathered to watch the final WCB game btw US & Venezuela. Perfect pizza event. We ordered a large pie for delivery through one of the home delivery services. We ordered and paid for the pizza on the Flippers website. We even paid for "Priority Delivery", choosing that option on the Flippers website. That was a frustrating joke. We ordered the pizza at around 8:15. At around 9:10 the delivery driver, a rare conscientious person, called us to say that he was at the restaurant, had been there for 10 - 15 minutes, and was still waiting for our pizza. We live roughly 20 minutes' distance from the pizza shop. We did not get the pizza until 9:45. Next time we've got a pizza craving, we will choose another pizza place for delivery. read more

Ordered a gluten free pizza for delivery and unfortunately after I ate some of it I immediately called the pizzeria because I felt something wasn't right. When I got there, the woman told me it would be a little bit before my pizza was ready - even though I got there after about 30 minutes when they told me it would be 20 to 25. After waiting an additional 5 to 10 minutes I asked another woman if my pizza was ready. At that point, she went and pulled it off the shelf where had been sitting since before I had arrived! The girl who had taken my credit card and told me to wait didn't seem to give a rip. On top of that, when we got the pizza home and the gluten-free pizza crust was as hard as a rock! Normally, we like to experience local restaurants - but in this case, I would absolutely not recommend flippers - I would say go to one of the chains where you know what you get. read more

Was vacationing in the Kissimmee area around Thanksgiving time. Our girls (8 & 10) were hungry and Pizza is always a crowd pleaser. We got takeout from Flippers which included a pepperoni pizza and some of the pepperoni rolls. The pizza was a hit as were the pepperoni rolls. In fact the pepperoni rolls were nice and buttery and some of the best that I have ever had. My wife had the Chicken caesar salad and I had a variation of one of their mixed green salads. I only ordered DoorDash from this location -- didn't go in. We ordered two items -- roasted broccoli with parm and a cheese pizza. I can only comment on the pizza, as the restaurant seemingly didn't hand the broccoli to our non English speaking DoorDash person, and this person could not read the receipt to understand there were two items in the order, so we didn't receive it. Regarding the pizza, I'm a NYC and New Haven Pizza snob, and this pizza was not any of that. Crust too thick, cheese too oily, sauce too tangy. Probably ok for people that don't compare it to anything. It was edible and we were hungry, but it's sure NOT up to the hype on the pizzeria's website which glowingly compared it to real Neapolitan pizza. Nope.
