    55+ pancakes
    Cindy A.

We are in Florida on vacation. I usually love Perkins. We were disappointed. We have a baby with us. We were told the wait was 15-20 minutes. We waited over an hour to be seated. They skipped our name. Needless to say, the baby was getting fussy. Then it took forever to get waited on. I ordered the pancakes and they tasted like they cooked it on grease that had something else cooked in with it. Another person in my party said her eggs were not good. Our waitress rarely checked on us. We came in for breakfast and were still here during lunch. My husband had country fried steak and said it was "ok". They did remove the charge for the pancakes.

This was my first time at Perkins, they were shutdown sometime ago because of health code violations. Today we are in a hurry so I ordered online and we ate at home. Honestly? You can't beat this deal, burguer + fries + pie for 9,99. The only downside we had, was I scheduled the pickup and they didn't start the order at the time should be ready. OK, understand, problem happens. Also ordered soup for my daughter, chicken noddles for 5,99 Burguer was good, for the price it's a must.

Perkins never disappoints! Every time we have dined at Perkins, does not matter which location, we leave as happy campers! Service is top notch!! Food arrives fast! We were on our way to Wild Florida and stopped here for brunch. We ordered the following; Pot Roast Waffle w/ side of Pancake Sausage Biscuit platter Coffee All the items were delicious. Portions are generous and priced appropriately. Total was $52. Not bad for a hearty meal. I definitely recommend Perkins!

Staff is friendly but food is not tasty, served old lettuce & cold food. Meals are not tasty at all. Coffee, tea and water are good though.

After a day at Universal we were all hungry. Since it was after 10 pm our choices were quite limited. Things in Florida close up pretty early. Being a California kid I was raised with Denny's and Sambo's being the late night options (that's not so much the case anymore). I had an employee years ago who said Perkins was their South Dakota equivalent of the aforementioned establishments. There was a Perkins in the area and it was open so we gave it a try. Oh my gosh. It was really good. Another place where they make pretty much everything on site. The food was excellent. The service was fantastic. And they offer lots of pies. One of the options was Chocolate French Silk (it tasted just like Bakers Square!). The dining are was clean and well appointed. We were happy to say the least. I won't hesitate to go to Perkins when I see them in the future.

This Perkins has seen better days. The service is snail slow and seems like the managers here don't really care. All the chairs were worn and they looked dirty. What a waste of a good hour and a half of my life. Never again Perkins.

The food was delicious Eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. My dad got the burger, fries and slice of cake for $10 which is a great deal. Their menu is very big and they have alcoholic beverages as well. Great breakfast lunch and dinner options. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very outdated. They need to get rid of the carpet and do some remodeling but the food and service was great. I can't wait to come back here and try more options.

We came here for brunch after unloading baggage at the resort we're staying at. We sat down quickly and our waitress came and took our order . We had coffee and sodas with a couple of eggs Benedict that came with hash browns and a fruit cup. Wife had a 1/2 sandwich BLT with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. We both enjoyed the food and also the restaurant wasn't crowed at all and was clean . Overall a great experience and would eat here again.

First time at any Perkins in several years and I'd have to say I don't know why we haven't come here sooner. First time at this location and I must say from the hostess to the server, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Our server, Nadja F. was wonderful! Food was great and plentiful for the price!

There's plenty of eating and parking. We were seated quite quickly although we were there really early before 7:00 a.m. our waitress was really nice she had a big section and still made a lot of time to wait on us. They have a menu that you can order for $4.99 but it's like four options of pancakes if you add anything it's extra. We ended up getting breakfast for two with two coffees and an orange juice in the bill was around 60 bucks which is pretty expensive for breakfast but it was decent. The biscuit was fluffy but could have been cooked a little longer. The bacon was great and my Skillet was good it had sausage ham bunch of meats and it was built on crispy tater tots. The country fried chicken was really good needed a little bit of salt but the flower was really thin and crunchy and had some flavor. They had beautiful pies which I haven't tried yet but I plan to before I leave. The ambiances like any typical diner breakfast place. Came out quickly and was hot. I would go back it's easy on and easy off the highway which is saying something in an area that has four lanes going every which way.

    Donation receipt

The guy was nice and understaffed and possibly some water leak going on with turbo fans blowing on you directly while seated to eat so the smell wasn't pleasant but, they added a donation to our bill without asking and we overlooked it and just seen it. That was not honest and they probably knew we were tourists so they took advantage of us on adding this donation to our bill.

It was after 10am and there was a wait list to be seated...gives me an indication that the food must be good. Perkins was a large casual restaurant offering a variety of foods for breakfast, lunch , and dinner such as seafood, appetizers, omelets, comfort foods, burgers, soups & salads, bakery items (cakes, pies, muffins, cookies, etc.), hot & cold beverages, and so much more. When I was finally seated, a pleasant female server took my drink order - a glass of lemonberry splash ice tea which was refreshing. I also ordered the Brioche French toast platter that was served with my choice of eggs ( over hard) and slices of bacon. Everything was made perfectly and was very filling. I can see why a lot of people come here...the staff here makes you feel like you're at home, the food is well prepared and cooked with the required flavors, and the prices are fair. Open till midnight daily.

I was on my way to volunteer at Give Kids the World Village today and decided to stop in for an early lunch before my shift. I am so glad I did because they have a roundup promotion that gives all donations to the Village. They also have a physical donation container in the restaurant. That made me like them already. To top that off, they were also serving both breakfast and lunch, with plenty of options for both. I chose the Buffalo chicken melt, and it was delicious. The fries were also great with a salt and cracked pepper seasoning on them. Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be back.

The home fries were a bit oily, but adding ketchup helped, and I still enjoyed them. The mimosa came in a regular cup with no ice and a small bottle of Barefoot Bubbly, which I actually appreciated because I could pour as much or as little as I wanted. The stuffed French toast was really good too. As for the service before being seated, I was a little discouraged, and at one point we almost walked out. I had really been craving Keke's before the end of our trip though, so I convinced my husband to stay. We weren't acknowledged when we first walked in, and the three employees at the front were all busy doing different things. The host stand seemed to turn into a cashier station, a drink pickup area, and a walkway all at once, so there wasn't much organization or a clear order for guests coming in. I think having a better system during peak hours would make a big difference. Once we were seated, though, the service was good. The atmosphere was chill, busy, and very family-oriented. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but we'll probably try a different Keke's location the next time we're in town.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. There's also service is great and the area is filled with things to do afterwards. Thank me later.

I got the sampler sliders and my boyfriend got the sampler platter. The slider buns were perfect and even toasted a bit which added major bonus points for me. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Brisket was peppery and perfect. Ribs were also veryyyy tenderrrrrr. You can tell the food is made with love. All I could do was smile as I ate my lunch, knowing I have an amazing bbq spot so close to me. 3. The corn nuggets were SO GOOD and SO comforting. Crispy, sweet, and perfect. There are plenty of places to take cute Instagram pictures. However, that does not help the overall score of the rest of the experience. When we first arrived, we were instructed to review the menu at a seat-yourself station and then return to the front to place our order. There were some interesting and tasty-looking options to pick from. Unfortunately, I was a bit perplexed by the pricing on the menu versus what came up on the cash register. I ordered the Mixed Berries Crepes with Nutella ($11), and I was going to order a Strawberry Boba for $5, but instead my total was nearing $25 dollars?? The pricing did not match the menu. The cash register didn't seem very friendly. When I noticed my crepe read "Banana/Strawberry" instead of Mixed Berry. I clarified I was getting the correct order. She told me, "Yes, yes." (Spoil alert: I did not get the mixed berries but instead a Strawberry and Banana Crepe...) I paid, and then took the little marker flag with a number they give you so the waitresses can find the correct table to deliver the orders to. My coworker and I waited in the back for our orders. Although we ordered back-to-back, the orders were fulfilled at different intervals. When my order finally arrived, the waitress was looking for the right table to deliver it to. I raised my hand and said it was my order. She looked at me with scrutiny as if I were lying to her. ( What was the point of the flag marker with the number then, if you're uncertain of the order???) My crepe was pretty, but overall, it was okay in flavor and taste. It wasn't very hot, though, and was lukewarm. I would give the crepe a 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything I'd come running back for. The staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed confused and disorganized. I would not come back here again.
