I had to park well past Jimmy John's and then hoof down to grab the pizza. Informed the counter I couldn't find a place to park and she said she wasn't surprised. I ordered a large Margarita pizza and a small Capricciosa pizza and they both were to die for! Both pizzas were very tasty and delicious! Let me first start off with the service: My coworkers and I came here for the first time during our lunch break and were greeted by the staff behind the counter. We were handed paper menus before ordering since it was all our first times there. The young lady at the register tapped her fingers as if she were in a rush and continuously asked, "are you ready? what do you want?" I couldn't have felt more unwelcomed and as if we were inconveniencing her. I built my own personal pie, but it just didn't taste right. The cheese was lukewarm/room temperature and not melted all the way. My toppings were dumped right on top & also not cooked all the way. So much so that the tomatoes were still cold, as if right out of the fridge. Which to me was all a bit surprising since it took a whole half hour to get our orders. I give this place two stars and not on because of the atmosphere. Flippers is a large establishment with tons of options for indoor dining. The restaurant also appeared to be clean. read more

We just ate here after a long day at Volcano Bay and it was the perfect end to out day! Mikayla was our waitress and not only was she great and friendly, but she was incredibly attentive and even checked with the chef when our breadsticks were taking a long time to come out. She's the kind of person you feel like will do great in whatever she pursues! The food was also excellent, like usual. We love the breadsticks here. They are so soft and big! You just can't go wrong getting anything that has bread in it from Flippers. The dough they use is the best. My kids wanted to try the breadstick bites and we ended up getting them as well. They look exactly like the breadsticks, but are cut smaller. Same preparation with the butter and cheese. Seems like a great amount too, for less $$. Both come with marinara. We had a half cheese and half Hawaiian pizza and, again, just delicious! We almost finished the whole thing, with basically just two adults eating it. Only had one slice to take home, and we got the biggest size possible. Everything is so good here and always seems to hit the spot perfectly. Oh and I can't forget to mention, that with the large pizza, breadsticks, bread bites and a soda, the total was $43! That's not bad when most pizza places charge $30+ just for a pizza! Flippers Pizzeria has multiple locations throughout the Orlando, Florida area (and now expanding throughout central Florida) and this particular location is on West Sand Lake Drive, so it is definitely a convenient spot to head towards if you are in that area and craving pizza. Flippers Pizzeria offers a lot of different pizzas, so I am confident that one of their pizzas will tempt and tantalize you and ultimately be a fine and satisfying meal. The ambiance here is laid back and inviting. The service is friendly and professional. The pizza is definitely good, especially when you factor in that it is coming from a chain (a small chain, but still a chain restaurant). You really can't go wrong with whichever pizza you choose. I used to love it here. The new girl at the desk has such a horrible attitude and everything is a chore for her. She clearly does not like working there. The manager is gone and it has gone down so fast. The pizza is burnt on the bottom and not cooked on the top. For my first (and definitely not last) takeout order for this flippers location, it was me and my family, so we decided to get two personal pizzas to split, as well as an order of garlic bread bites. For the first pizza, we decided on the margarita pizza.... Words can't describe the flavor of this pizza, but I'll definitely try. Everything about the pizza, from the sauce to the cheese and then the bread, all blended perfectly. The cheese was the perfect amount, spaced amazing so that each bite had the best amount of cheese on it. The crust was baked to perfection, with the most amazing amount of crunch when you hit into it. The sauce was wonderful as well. The second pizza we got was the four cheese pizza, which consisted of Asiago, mozzarella, provolone and Romano. It was amazing but if you don't like cheese, you will absolutely be turned away from this pizza. Very strong cheese flavor, but that's exactly the point. I personally loved it. The bread bites were absolutely out of this world as well, the garlic butter being the absolute hero of this appetizer. My only thing about this was the marinara dipping sauce was served cold, I personally would've liked it served warm to keep the overall snack a nice temperature. The food was very small for the high price. The sandwich is really just a pizza flipped over. There is not enough meat or cheese on it either. The Sandwhich was extremely oily. I didn't like the fact the food did come with a side. For $16 was a complete rip off. Publix and Subway has better subs. Called the store to place a takeout order. The staff were so friendly on the phone. When it was time to pick up my order, I went in and paid. The cashier was wearing a mask and there was hand sanitizer I could use. I noticed the rest of the restaurant was phase 1 ready with some tables marked off and stickers on the floor so those in line stood 6 feet apart. I chose the California Classic with a drizzle of ranch (old Midwest habits die hard). The ingredients were really fresh and I liked the basil pesto sauce as the base. The wife went to pick up the pies. She had to wait for the pies. I ordered online and I think she waited about 40 plus minutes after she arrived. For Florida, Flippers is pretty great pizza, and don't get me started on their breadsticks... wow. They are a Central Florida chain that has been around for quite a while for a reason, and that reason is consistently good pizza. They have all your normal toppings and I love the "my pie" size, perfect for lunch or dinner for one and they also have good lunch specials that include one topping and a drink. This location is decent, but very small. They do have one very large table for groups which is great, but their seat selection can be limited when it's busy. Service here is *incredibly* hit or miss - unfortunately they suffer from the same turn over most other restaurants in this general area do, and you rarely see a server stick around longer than a few months. I was happy that the delivery was very fast, only took about 40 min from ordering, which is pretty good for a pizza place on a Saturday night. We got the traditional style triple pepperoni, SO good! I liked the ranch too, I'm kinda picky with ranch dressings, so that's a plus! The buttery garlic dipping sauce was a little too rich for my taste, but not bad. We ordered the chicken wings as well, which I would not recommend. They were more like chicken nuggets and were burnt. Good descent pizza. Had a Groupon for this pizzeria and had been wanting to try it for a while. A little difficult getting in to the parking area if you are are not where you are going. Off a main road it seemed in a drop off corner of a parking lot. The restaurant itself was very clean on both occasions we have gone. With that being said, I found the dining area to be quite small, especially with several of the tables spaced off. Also staff was at a minimum. We dined here once on a Saturday right after opening and then on a Sunday right after noon time. Staff took a while to sit us on both occasions. Several tables were open and several needed to be cleaned. I liked being able to like into the cooking area and see the pizza being made. The meals were well cooked and fresh on both visits and had enough to take home for seconds. Vegetable pizza is a must from here. read more
