We got the beer battered onion rings and pretzel bites. Both were very good but pretzels on bottom were little greasy from little pool of grease on paper. Both good!! Beers were ice cold, froze my teeth, kudos!! Kids ordered a milk shake, do you know they have a specialty milkshakes every month. Amazing!! Ordered two burgers, The Hangover and The Stella Moo, one with tator tots and other with fries. Burgers were amazing!! Both of us didn't put it down, it was soo good and juicy. I believe little grease was running down my arm, left it there till I was done. Fries had some BBQ seasoning on them and were delicious, didn't need dipping sauce. After that we both were full but those Elephant Ear Fries for dessert looked amazing!! Didn't have room, maybe next time. Definitely will be back, hopefully it won't be too full cause parking lot was way too small and small dining area. Only downfall, can't eat here on busy day, not enough parking or enough tables to turnover fast enough. That's my only concern, won't be able to eat here as much as I want or when I want. Horrible service last night. We entered after the dinner rush expecting to grab a burger and beer. One other table was there and was served before us. More than halfway through their meal, the waitress told them they were served the wrong meal. It was clearly our meal that was served to them. After 40 minutes went by I asked if everything was OK? I suppose I should've kept my mouth shut. 15 more minutes, our food was brought out. My companions burger was hot off the grill. ( the remake) I can only speculate that my burger sat on the grill while catching up. When ordered med. rare , it was served as a cold, black, hockey puck. I had to send the cold fries back before I noticed the bur burger. By this time, the waitress was really becoming annoyed with me. I almost forgot to mention the salad! Is it typical to be served fine shredded lettuce in a salad? Maybe pulled the container that is used for burritos or tacos? Regardless, seems like our presence was more of an inconvenience. Food was good. Service was fast. My only complaint was the slightly rancid griddle taste in my grilled cheese. But I was hungry so I didn't complain. Hubby had a fish basket which I should have had. Tender, flaky and served with homemade potato chips. Fries were meh. Tater tots looked good at the next table. Lots of sports on tv and music was on point. My father and I came up for the Notre Dame-Navy game (hooyah, GO NAVY!!!) and he and I were looking for something different and found out about this place. All I have to say is YUM! We each had a Flat Tire 22 oz beer, shared the jalapeño poppers, had the amazing Uncle Mac (Mac and cheese on a burger? YES PLEASE!!!!) and then finished it out with loaded tots! Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Big shout out to Joanie, she gave us great service. Great personality, and was always there checking on us! Bucks burger and brew in St Joseph has a peanut butter and jelly burger that is way better, and googs in Holland Mi has a Fred burger that is peanut butter and onion. We received great service in the bar sitting at a hightop. We started out with some chips and dip. 5 star bar and grill in Elkhart. The service was excellent, atmosphere was great, and the food was awesome! We tried this place because we had been to the Lakeside Grill (previous owners) a few times and always had a good experience. We bought a pontoon boat 9 years ago at Wakeside Marine (across the street). The back of this place is right on Simonton Lake, with docks out to the lake that boats can come by and dock at. Always up for something new, we decided to try this place out b/c of the good reviews on the food. So we drove the hour to Elkhart and are so glad we did! I got the hangover burger which had bacon and a fried egg. Delisshh! Burgers are small but awesome! Mac and cheese is awesome. Waitress was friendly and on top of us and a few other tables she also had. Food-great, service-great....beer selection great. Nobody under 21 allowed in the bar area so we had to sit outside where it was a little hot, but nothing to complain about here...great food on the water. Try it out!! read more

My cheeseburger was dry and didn't have much flavor. Service got slower... had to flag down a server for drink refills, then for the check, then a third time got up to ask another server for boxes. Love this place! We've been twice while staying at our lakehouse in MI; its worth the short drive. We had the special, fish tacos, and last time we had the hangover and the Bonnie (burgers). They have delicious topping options and handmade burgers, oh and the cheese and bacon dip-to die for. Then, there's sitting along a small lake for a view. They also have outside dining, which in these times is a plus, although I would choose it anyway in order to sit along the lake. read more

Come here for a great burger or patty melt. It was one of the best simple burgers I have ever had. Pub burger plus garlic mushrooms and swiss. Fries were crispy. Husband loved the patty melt. Service was great. Drinks refilled before we needed them, could have taken them to go as well. View even in winter nice with lots of sunshine in heated porch.
