I was super skeptical when I pulled up to a really ugly brick building right next to the airport, but they have done an excellent job completely transforming the basement space into something totally luxurious and relaxing. The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone! read more

I had an excellent experience during my most recent visit at Float. The staff are incredibly professional, polite, and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating when scheduling conflicts arose. Though the space looks small they actually have tons of room for the various services they offer. The waiting area was very spacious, clean,and well lit. The treatment room had an abundance of space and was clean and well lit. the float room includes a large float pod, shower stall, towels, ear plugs, clothing hooks, chair, and benches. The pod was easy to operate and adaptive tools such as noodles are offered to increase comfort. It took me some time to relax my mind so I would recommend if you take awhile to relax maybe do a longer time like 2 hrs or hour an a half. Water was nice and warm, pod was cozy with lights and meditation music. I used the neck float which was helpful but you dont need to use those. showers available in tbe room before and after float. Epsom salt does make a mess once your dry so make sure you shower well. Will give it another shot! read more

Treated my wife to a Float recently for Mother's Day. She enjoyed it but said it didn't live up to expectations. I guess it's one of those things you have to do a few times to really reap the benefits. They also have halo therapy and infrared sauna. I'm def interested in trying out the infrared sauce / Halo therapy combo room that does both at the same time. I'll update review when I do. read more

I'm the type that is happy floating in a tube around the pool so I had to check out float therapy. For that I am happy I did. It was relaxing and my time in the pod flew by. It helped me realize my back was out of alignment since the density of the water puts you into a zero gravity environment on your joints and muscles. I slept like a baby the nights to follow, which was a plus and my skin/hair felt great afterward. I wish we could have taken an aura photo before and after to see the change. This is a definite must try for anyone looking for peace and tranquility. This spa offers so many different modalities. Float is a one hour or one and a half hour of total peace. The rooms are private and they have two. Booking is simple on the Mind Body app and by phone. It is impeccably clean and I am OCD about these things. The tank is ten inches of water and 800 pounds of salt, so when you lay back you just float. You lose yourself and everyone's experience is different. It's amazing how when the body becomes one with the water your muscles completely relax and when I am finished I have no aches or pains which lasts a week for me if not longer. It has healed minor issues with arthritis for me that I have not found anywhere else. For me a weekly and bi weekly floater this has become my favorite practice. It's amazing when you shit off the world for an hour what introspection you find. If you are afraid of feeling claustrophobic this does not happen. You can leave the tank open, lights on, music on if you chose. I close the lid and have no problem and I am a bit claustrophobic in other situations yet never in the tank. When you think about it it's bigger than a shower stall and we use those daily. Aura photography is offered here which I have tried and is so cool. My reading was exact I did a pre and post float and the change in my relaxation chakra was amazing. You get an emailed print out which is many pages to read at home and it helped me to realize areas I had to change for a healthier lifestyle This is by appointment and Colleen is amazing you can feel her love and energy when you enter the room with her. The gym they have is beautiful. Eileen the personal trainer there is phenomenal. She offers one on one personal training if you feel you need that extra push to get you back into working out. They have classes boot camp, yoga, and something for everyone. Massage there I hear is amazing as well. That will be my next try that is by appointment only as well and they do offer couples massages . After whatever you chose at this spa, you can relax on the beautiful meditation room with a friend or alone and have a tea and chat about your experience. I have gone alone and met the most wonderful people in this beautiful room and had great conversations with them. From the minute you walk in you feel a peaceful vibe as Letitia greets you and orients you to the entire space and to the Float rooms so you know exactly what to do once you are there. I want to start off by saying this place is LIFE CHANGING. I am someone who has anxiety and has a very difficult time 'shutting off' my brain. I also suffer from migraines and back/neck pain. I came here for a Couples Massage (with Robin and Katie) and a Float on Friday 12/1. This was my second time Floating here and it was the most amazing experience. The first time, I was analyzing everything and couldn't get to a place where I could really relax and clear my mind. This time I decided to book a 60 min. massage BEFORE the Float session to calm my mind. This prepared me for a better experience in the Float Pod. I fell asleep FIVE times! It was so peaceful and I left feeling so much lighter. Lighter in a since, that I lost some of the stress and weight on my chest that I walked in with. Here are a few tips that I would have liked someone to share with me. ***Realize that each Float will be different. Don't give up if the first Float isn't amazing. (I almost thought, maybe Floating isn't for me - I'm SO happy I came back!!) ***Play around with the Floating accessories to find your perfect position. I really enjoyed using the larger blue Float accessory behind my upper back and head for neck support as well as a noodle across the top of my hips, placing one hand on each side. ***Have fun with the Aura Photography to capture how this SPA truly changes your body and soul. (We did a before and after session and it was really unique to see something capture how I was feeling inside - it was almost evidence that something really did change while I was there.) The last thing I expected in my busy life was to get hurt and end up with a concussion. Dr ordered no screen time, quiet dark room to reset my brain with no timeline on recovery. My head had been pounding, ears ringing, dizziness, i had a hard time finding words.. all of that. I then found float therapy was used by Navy seals for concussion management and improved learning. This morning I was so fortunate to find Float so close to home. I called immediately and booked 90 min session. 90 mins later, no headache, no pain. I'm lucid. I don't know how long the effects will last. What i do know is that I am so grateful for the pain disappearing even if for a little while. I meditate regularly so I used the space for a meditation. A few things to remember for next time - bring a hairbrush, hair gel, lotion and other items. You have to shower twice. If you are looking for a spa experience. This is a very clean professionally run facility and the staff very much the same. However, I came to "float". I began floating in NYC in 1980 and have continued to float when opportunity presented itself. While the spa quality, including the set for the use of the float tank were exceptional. However in spite of the state of the art of the tank , both the tank and the room leaked light. Like I mentioned the staff was very friendly, but seemed to lack the basic understanding as intended and did not offer a refund or voice any interest in remedying the flaw. These "float" tanks are often referred to as "isolation tanks". If you have opportunity to find such a tank you will experience a profound difference. I'd recommend you stay home pour yourself a glass, fill the tub, light a few candles and lay a warm washcloth over your eyes maybe some soft music, save your money for a tank and room that don't leak light . You might be interested in the writings on this subject by John Lilly who was instrumental in the development of float tanks aka isolation tanks. read more
