As someone who's actively not only planning a wedding but a move my head is always all over the place- and I needed to RELAX. A family friend invited me to Zen out with her and my Mom at the Salt Cave and I was so excited! First of all I knew I needed to relax and I knew the private session for us would be what we all needed to heal so much we're all dealing with. Once I entered Casey greeted us kindly. Such a warm bright smile. I love walking in here the aura is so Zen and the vibes are just perfect. They have stuff all around you can buy- stones, salt items, shirts, jewelry. There was just so much to look at. To the Cave! Casey made sure we got into our zero gravity chairs easily as they can be tricky. But once settled in the cave with our blanket (they provide) and all set in the chairs seated back and relaxed it was time for Zen. My mom and our family friend were immediately relaxed it did take me some time as I have a lot going on in my mind. But the cave does a short guided meditation and then the rest was just relaxing sounds. I can't explain the calmness this cave brings. It like forces you to relax. Your mind and body are like being forced to let go of all the pain and hurt. It's so hard to explain you just have to try it for yourself. The salt cave you must wear white or light colored socks. They have cubbies for your shoes in the back. The rocks do hurt your feet but once you're in your seat you're perfectly fine. The sessions are also private. So whether it's 1 person for I think 8 max it's private for you and your group which I love.I also found out they do massages in there as well per request, and yoga! I'm for sure going to do a massage in there! I love it and I'll be back a few more times before I move. read more

Been extremely stressed out (my dad unexpectedly passed and parents live in SC, couldn't fly down immediately.) My friend saw my distress and surprised me with an experience here. It took a while to really get into the guided imagery/zero gravity chair and become zen but I eventually got there! Walked out of there feeling so much lighter and more relaxed. Hung out in the rest/beverage and snack lounge for a while. Loved the games, books, oracle cards and tarot decks. Will absolutely be back again. I needed some peace in my life and Saltitude absolutely provided this. So greatful to my friend for this gift! read more

Saltitude Himalayan Salt Cave who could have ever thought that this peaceful cave could exist in what looks like a store front from the outside. On walking in we were welcomed with a cheerful smile. I went with my daughter and my coworker who gifted me this experience. There is so much to get lost looking at but not at all overwhelming. It's peaceful and nicely laid out. The salt cave experience transforms you to a quiet oasis. You walk in grab a blanket to your liking. Have a seat in one of the lounge chairs( remember to protect the salt you need to bring white sock or you can purchase) the lights get dimmed. Meditation music plays and for 1 hour you are in a relaxing state of mind. They have a little back room where you can grab coffee or tea and a snack once you are done. There are books and many other items for purchase. I was even given a little bit of salt that get let into the cave ( you really don't notice that much maybe a little salt on your lips well for me anyways). I honestly feel like is is so important to have a place like this as part of self care, mind body calming. Once a month at least. Make sure to make an appointment they have plenty of parking in the plaza and offer gift certificates. read more

This place is amazing and tucked away in an unassuming strip mall. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. They also have a small metaphysical shop which is nice to browse before or after the appointment. read more

45 solid minutes of uninterrupted solitude. The world could have been ending and we wouldn't have known. Priceless! First look- a strip mall. Stepping into Saltitude, a tranquil shop. Think crystals, sage, yoga mats, etc... I had no idea the wooden door in the lobby lead you into the salt cave! It feels like you are in a cave. But it's quaint and serene with a small little opening showcasing a 'sky.' There were blankets folded as you enter and are there if you choose (I totally chose a blanket!) There were 4 lounge chairs and a recliner! We were offered yoga mats, which my daughter accepted and started laying but ended on the recliner. Also it was explained that there is salt getting blown into the room. You can't taste it but it is getting to your skin. My cozy spot was in a lounge chair with a foot stool and a blanket. The time in the cave starts with a 5 minute meditation over a speaker in the room. it's the right volume and soothing. Then you have silence. We could have talked but my daughter and I both opted to have our own experience in silence and enjoying the room. I can't lie- I totally dozed off! But as your time comes to a close, that soothing voice returns and alerts you to return to the regular world. I felt so rejuvenated. Was it the nap? Was it just relaxing? Is it the salt? I don't know but I felt good and we both loved it! Also, super hospitable! They offer coffee, tea and snacks. Whatever you want and/or need, it's offered. We will be back! read more

I took my friend here for a relaxing time after surgery. We called ahead to schedule a time which is recommended. On arrival we checked in and waited just a few minutes as others were scheduled at the same time. The other did not show up so we had the room to ourselves. The website states to bring white socks as that is the only footwear allowed. The salt rocks are a little tough on your feet but once you get to your chair the relaxation begins. The room holds about 10 anti gravity chairs for you to settle in and enjoy the calming music. The floors ceiling and walls are covered in Himalayan salt giving the room a sepia glow. The session lasts 45 minutes and you can relax enough to almost dose off. Very enjoyable experience. read more

Went in never expecting the cozy surroundings. Have COPD , on oxygen theropy. Left it in the car as no electronics are to go in . Left there without oxygen on a very hot muggy day walked 4 cars down. Didn't retrieve it till I got home. Didn't need it till 6:00 that night I realized I hadn't use it! Calling now to make appointment for my daughter in law and I for meditation and relaxation. I had such a relaxing time in the salt cave. Immediately when you walk in you get such a feeling of calm and relaxation. You can already feel the good vibes when being greeted by the desk. Upon entering the salt cave I was completely amazed in the amount of effort created into making it. It is absolutely amazing. The floor is covered in crushed Himalayan salt, walls made up of Himalayan salt bricks with beautiful lighting and a fireplace and the ceiling made of salt drips with sparkling purple lights at the tips of some. The cave has zero gravity chairs and a comfortable lazy boy with an option of using blankets. I recommend using the blankets as I felt most comfortable. Meditation music comes over the speakers and you fall into a world of relaxation. If you are ready to clear your mind and feel at peace this is the place for you!!! read more

I recently visited Saltitude and I thought it was great. I went with 3 other women so we were put into the salt cave with 2 other women, which was fine. They do reference that you may have to share the room with others if you're a party less than 6 on their website so we were prepared for that. I hadn't realized there would be a partial guided meditation but I really enjoyed it. The guided meditation is in the beginning and then again at the end of the 45 minutes with silence in between. You sit on comfortable zero gravity chairs and they give you blankets to cover yourself to stay warm while you're relaxing. I did feel it could have been a bit warmer in there but at no point was I uncomfortably cold. Also the staff at the front desk were kind and informative. I would go back for sure! read more

The staff was friendly and welcoming and explained everything that was involved. The salt cave was beautiful and so relaxing. I came here with a group of friends for some relaxation. I used to live right near here and I don't remember it so I think it's pretty new. I thought the staff was accommodating and lovey to talk with. Inside the cave was awesome I love the blankets and chairs and the guided meditation. The ceiling was really cool too. After it was over staff told us there were snacks and drinks in the back which I thought was a lovely touch! The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because I'm a Raffa Yoga goer and they have a salt grotto as part of their urban sweat package and if you go there for their happy hour pricing during the week it's $30 for the salt grotto as well as the other four sauna rooms for like 4 hours where as at Saltitude you get 45 minutes for $35. Which makes sense it's a small place but I'd probably come here limitedly in comparison. Was a great hour though! read more

I recently went to Saltitude Himalayan Salt Cave. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in the door but once I did, I completely forgot I was in a strip mall in Lincoln, RI! The place is very inviting and my first (but not last) salt cave experience was wonderful. Besides all the health benefits that come along with spending time in a salt cave, I was actually able to relax and shut the real world out of my mind for 45 minutes! It is very obvious the thought and passion that goes into this healing oasis. Not only have they created a beautiful, healing and magical salt cave but their practitioners who present workshops and healing sessions are also incredible at what they do. They offer a great variety of workshops with practitioners who are very knowledgeable and helpful with the information they present. I also enjoy how family oriented they are. My 3 year old Grandson and I had such a wonderful session together. PJ was so accommodating with things to keep him busy in the salt cave since I was concerned he may get bored due to his age.
