45 solid minutes of uninterrupted solitude. The world could have been ending and we wouldn't have known. Priceless! First look- a strip mall. Stepping into Saltitude, a tranquil shop. Think crystals, sage, yoga mats, etc... I had no idea the wooden door in the lobby lead you into the salt cave! It feels like you are in a cave. But it's quaint and serene with a small little opening showcasing a 'sky.' There were blankets folded as you enter and are there if you choose (I totally chose a blanket!) There were 4 lounge chairs and a recliner! We were offered yoga mats, which my daughter accepted and started laying but ended on the recliner. Also it was explained that there is salt getting blown into the room. You can't taste it but it is getting to your skin. My cozy spot was in a lounge chair with a foot stool and a blanket. The time in the cave starts with a 5 minute meditation over a speaker in the room. it's the right volume and soothing. Then you have silence. We could have talked but my daughter and I both opted to have our own experience in silence and enjoying the room. I can't lie- I totally dozed off! But as your time comes to a close, that soothing voice returns and alerts you to return to the regular world. I felt so rejuvenated. Was it the nap? Was it just relaxing? Is it the salt? I don't know but I felt good and we both loved it! Also, super hospitable! They offer coffee, tea and snacks. Whatever you want and/or need, it's offered. We will be back!

I love this place, if you're thinking about trying it out, I say go for it. I took myself on a solo date here and it was exactly what I needed to unwind and relax. By the end of my session, I felt just as good as when I get a massage. Those who worked there were extremely kind and willing to answer any questions. There is also a room in the back which has tea, coffee, and books galore. I recommended it all my family and friends.

I took my friend here for a relaxing time after surgery. We called ahead to schedule a time which is recommended. On arrival we checked in and waited just a few minutes as others were scheduled at the same time. The other did not show up so we had the room to ourselves. The website states to bring white socks as that is the only footwear allowed. The salt rocks are a little tough on your feet but once you get to your chair the relaxation begins. The room holds about 10 anti gravity chairs for you to settle in and enjoy the calming music. The floors ceiling and walls are covered in Himalayan salt giving the room a sepia glow. The session lasts 45 minutes and you can relax enough to almost dose off. Very enjoyable experience.

If I weren't a bit biased from being spoiled by Canadian and West Coast Korean spas, I'd probably give it 5+ stars. I love that there's a cold plunge, plenty of relaxation rooms, an unlimited stay, and massage chairs. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the facilities feel clean and well maintained. A few minor improvements would really take this place to the next level: - The steam rooms and hot saunas could be hotter. - The cost is steep. I fully understand that my expectations are colored by $30 West Coast spas, but a slightly lower price point would make frequent visits easier to justify. - The locker room/wet area was very loud. I appreciate that conversation is allowed, but the volume made it hard to fully relax. I'm not sure there's an easy fix without acoustic upgrades. - The Korean food was disappointing, especially for the price. - This is very personal preference, but I do enjoy the traditional no-bathing-suits culture. Most women were wearing bathing suits, which made me feel a bit self-conscious being the only one without. Totally on me, but worth mentioning if you're expecting a more traditional spa experience. Overall, I'm happy to have a spa like this in the area and hope it continues to improve. If you've never tried a spa like this before, I highly encourage giving it a shot!!

I have such a "love-hate" relationship with Spalight. When they first opened, this place was an…read moreabsolute dream--meticulously clean, welcoming, and my go-to spot to totally reset. Unfortunately, the facility has hit a bit of a decline lately. What used to be impeccably dry, clean floors are now prone to dust and hairballs, and it's gotten so wet in the wet sauna areas that they've just started putting out "caution" signs instead of actually keeping it dry. I've seen quite a few people slip. Even the "unlimited" towel perk has been downgraded to a strict two-towel limit, and the food portions and quality have shrunk exponentially compared to the cost they charge it at. That being said, there is one major saving grace: the Korean auntie who does the body scrubs. She is an absolute legend and deserves a massive raise for everything she puts up with! She's the main reason the experience still feels somewhat authentic and worth driving to. The rooms are also on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours, it's definitely more "crowded" than "calm." Honestly, the only reason I still make the trip is that it's the only K-spa within a reasonable driving distance from Boston. If there were more local options, I'd probably skip the decline here and head straight to NJ or NYC for a higher-quality experience. It's still a decent option if you're desperate for a scrub and a soak without the four-hour drive, but I really miss the high standards they had at the beginning.

Parking in on street, I don't believe you have to pay though. Staff is super nice and welcoming, gave us the run down, provided us with a sandals and a robe. The robe are pretty size inclusive, I only had a little gap, and I'm a 3x. You get a locker and they even have a bathing suit dryer when you're done (pictured) That said, it's a smaller space than the Newport location inside, where the actual pools/saunas are. However, you can still get in and out of the pools with ease because of the railings. There is maybe enough space for two in the plunge pool. Staff came through with some cool eucalyptus towelettes and there is free flavored or non flavored water to drink. The cons for me would be the parking, and the over booking, people were struggling to find places for their robes and cups. Otherwise, this is a great experience for your body and peace of mind, would recommend.

My husband and I checked in and was greeted by a friendly staff member who told us our locker number. Then, another staff member told us what we would find in our locker and about the water journey. The locker room was very clean and spacious. I put on my robe on top of my bathing suit and sandals and headed to the water journey space with my reusable water cup. The water journey space includes: 98° Bodhi Glow Mineral Pool, 104° Bodhi Restore Mineral Pool, eucalyptus steam room, cold plunge, full spectrum infrared sauna, traditional finnish dry sauna, and a relaxation area. The Water Journey is 2 hours and 30 minutes and we spent pretty much the full time in the space. There were probably 14 people total in the space at the same time, but it didn't feel crowded. Also, everyone honored the whisper policy and no one was obnoxiously loud. At one point, the staff came around with cold towels. As our time was almost up, we headed to each of our locker rooms and took a shower. The shower had body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also a bathing suit spinner that dries the water out of the swim suit. The water journey was definitely worth $85.00. I had such a relaxing time and can't wait till next time. Reservations do fill up, so I definitely recommend making your reservation sooner than later.

The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!
