I had a 1 o'clock appointment and was told to get there 15 minutes early. I showed up around 12:30 and the doors to the facility were locked and all the lights were off. No one was answering the phone and when someone finally came to the door I was told I had to wait due to technical difficulties/phone lines being down. Once there the check in process was next to nothing, I did the paperwork online so all they needed was my name. The facility itself was fairly small, but the rooms were nice. My room had a locking door, float tank and a shower with shampoo/conditioner/soap. They give you a bathmat, a towel, two face cloths as well as ear plugs, a makeup wipe and a few other things you might need. They give you 15 minutes before to shower and 15 minutes after your allotted float time. They claim the rooms are soundproof but I did hear little bangs and noises of the business center. I wish they provided personal combs, but they do have community hair brushes and blow dryers to use. Overall it was a great experience, and the woman working there was very nice. They give you a few choices of music/white noise/sounds to get you in the zone and bring you back. This was a great experience and I would LOVE to repeat it. It feels that is should not be a one time event, I think that further benefits can be received if you at least go 3 times: first time to acclimate, second time to feel comfortable, third time to compare. So, I can't wait for the gift to come my way. On my visit, I checked in, was taken to the room, everything was explained, and then it was me and the floatation device. I undressed, jumped in and meditated for an hour or so. It was very interesting to stay floating for so long. Everything is dark, it is a very different type of experience. For what it is, this place is nice. This is the 3rd float spa I've tried out, and it's a nice facility located close to the big Target in downtown Orlando. I booked the float pool to see the difference between the float pod. It's big enough to bring another person with you, and the room even has a double shower so you can both prep and then wash the salt off afterwards. My only issue is that since it wasn't in an enclosed pod, the parts of my body that were submerged felt fine, but the parts of me exposed to the air were cold. So I didn't get that experience I was looking forward to as far as not being able to tell where my limbs start and end. Received a pop up to this business on my Instagram and it got my attention, after checking their website I was really interested in the overall experience and being someone that can't float to save her life I was very intrigued. I called and made and appointment for my husband and I. The day of our appointment we arrived and were greeted by the receptionist who handed us each and IPad to quickly fill out paperwork. From there she gave us a quick tour and explained how it all worked, how much time we had to get ready before the pod was filled and left each of us in our individual rooms to start our experience. The room has motion activated lights so they turn off once you are in the pod if you. While the pod is filled you shower, then get your earplugs in and get ready to float. Getting in the pod was fun, as soon as I laid down I was floating, I remembered they had the little "pillow" that helps with your head if needed, because I was nervous I used it but after a few minutes did without it. The machine talks to you for a little and plays some music until it stops and the lights inside of the pod turn off. When my time was up and the pod started to wake me up letting me know it was about to start draining and the lights started coming up I couldn't believe how rested I felt, when I got up from the pod my back felt like it had been floating in thin air. I showered and met my husband in the tea lounge were we spoke of what an amazing experience it was. We got lucky and got to use a groupon for our first time but will absolutely return! Sooooo, this was different ... and cool. I heard a friend at work talking about these pods and I immediately needed to check it out. Well, that happened today! I had no idea what I was getting myself into (other than a pod, a har har) and I think I loved it. Since it was my first experience, I just purchased a one 60-minute float. Coming out of the pod today, I thought I could have even gone for a 90-minute float. Hmmmmmm. I didn't want to come out just yet. However, I'm getting ahead of myself here. I need to tell you about the entire experience. I made an appointment on the phone and they were able to get me in the "day of" ... saying that, I have a feeling this place is going to get more and more popular, so don't expect that as the buzz keeps growing. I got lucky. Anywho, I showed up and was immediately greeted by a really sweet lady at the front counter. She gave me some information to fill out and took a couple of other people to their pods. In a couple of blinks, she was back and explained that she needed to clean the pod I would be going in and it would take a few minutes. Noooo problem. I was early! Also, I was super impressed that everything was being explained so well. Just a few minutes later, I went into the pod room. The lady (whose name I didn't get and I'm kicking myself because she was awesome) explained everything to me about the shower, the pod, the panel on the wall and answered any other questions I had. The room was super clean and it felt good just being in there. She told me the water would fill in the pod and the lights would come on inside. During this time, which is about 8 minutes, you take a shower. (Ummmm...she had left the room by now in case you were wondering.) So, the pod filled with water (its body temperature, not hot), I took a shower to make sure I was nice and clean for the nice and clean pod and it was time to get in! When I got in the pod, I shut the door all the way down. The green lights were on inside, (they stay on for a few minutes) and there is music playing underwater. There is also a lady's voice, in the pod, "The Lady In the Pod" who gives you instructions but I wasn't listening (no surprise there.) Even though the lights were on, I panicked for like a half second and opened the pod a couple of inches. The lights were still on in the room (they will turn off when there is no motion) and I told myself I was being a baby and to shut the pod and shut my mouth ... so I did. A few minutes later, the music will stop and the lights in the pod will dim to darkness. This was very peaceful. Time stops once you relax and your mind will bounce around, stop or do whatever it needs to do. I think I might have fallen asleep a couple of times but hearing yourself snore underwater will wake you right up ... so, be prepared for that. Be prepared to hear silence and your heartbeat. Be prepared to feel like you aren't in water anymore and you are just hanging out. Its really cool. So, 60 minutes went by and the music and lights in the pods begin to fade in to let you know time is up. (Wow! I had no concept that I was in there for an hour.) This time, I could hear "The Lady In the Pod" .. her soothing voice said "thank you and I hope you enjoyed the pod" or something like that. I got out of the pod, got back in the shower, this time using hair conditioner, and stepped out of the room after getting dressed. The sweet lady from before met me outside by the restroom, greeting me with a warm cup of tea. I sipped the tea and chatted with another lady who had just gotten out of her pod a couple of minutes before. It was her first time too and she loved it as well. Overall experience? I felt really calm and clear headed afterwards. I liked being in the pod and even wished I was in there longer. (They do have 90 minute floats.) I think I need to go back. Heck, I even drove home in 5:00p traffic and I couldn't be bothered being annoyed. Yup. Its like that. Enjoy! read more

I was surprised when they said we could come in in 30 minutes! The man at the front desk was very kind and informative. We had a conversation about dungeons and dragons (both my husband and I listed it as a hobby on the form), and we felt like we were talking to a friend. He explained the process thoroughly and made us feel comfortable. The facility was very clean and welcoming. I felt more relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. They have an option to float together, so we did that as neither of us had ever experienced it. The float itself was incredible. It's really something I think everyone should try at least once! You'll be hooked! After the float, we were offered tea or water and the employee sat down with us and talked about our experience. He was so genuine and personable. We felt like we could've sat and talked for hours! Plus, the tea was great! Never floated before so decided to try it on a whim. Had an evening Appt and was greeted by a nice young lady who escorted me to the open float room. She explained the whole process to me and answered all my questions and any sanitary concerns I had. She left the room and I showered in cool water until the pool was filled. I entered the pool and began my floating experience. Very relaxing and as the lights dimmed and the room went completely dark - the relaxation kicked up another notch. The first time I ever floated, at first it get very different and uncomfortable because of how new this concept was to me. I couldn't figure out how to get comfortable or how to feel about being in an enclosed area for such a long period of time. However, after a couple minutes my body adjusted. I got used to the water temperature and I changed my position and placed my arms above my head and felt no tension around my neck. I'm 6'0 and never once felt claustrophobic and had more than enough room to move. I began to feel a sense of weightless as if I were floating in space. Now that I've floated a couple times, I can say that this is an experience for everyone. As a professional circus acrobat, my body endures a lot that causes my muscles to ache and feel sore. After floating, not only does the soreness go down, my body feels extremely relaxed. Mentally, this also helped me with my anxiety and ADHD. It's hard for me to sit still and to focus so sometimes I don't always make the full hour, but time feels warped and the visuals and sometimes sounds you hear and see are a great distraction and allows you to think from different perspectives so I always end up staying in there longer or even shorter than I thought. I have also tried the couples float with my partner which is by far my favorite. We're both pretty tall (my partner being 6'3) and found it more relaxing to foot with one another holding hands and even got different visuals from this room not being completely enclosed, great for those who are claustrophobic. I also recommend going either early in the morning or late at night. This allowed me to completely fall asleep within minutes to the point where I woke up because the water had completely drained and I was left in an empty pool because I was completely knocked out in the best way. Though with that experience I don't remember anything, my body felt the amazing benefits from floating in the salt and magnesium. From a cleanliness point of view, the employees keep the pods spotless and the pods themselves drain the water and salt after every use. I always floated naked and those questioning whether that's sanitary or not should know that it's completely safe and cleaner than any bathtub or pool that I have ever been in. Wesley was very informative and helped me feel comfortable and relaxed especially during my first time floating. Even after pressing the panic button (just from wanting to get out I wasn't panicked just done with my float) Wesley came to check on me and ensured me that everything was okay and offered me tea. The employees check up on you and want to hear about your float which makes this experience more personal. I recommend floating to anyone who deals with mental health or physical soreness but also to everyone. My Girlfriend purchased a Groupon for Indigo Float and to experience this as a couple for my Birthday. Recently I had been under a lot a stress, and this was supposed to relieve some of that anxiety, oh my god was I wrong. When we arrived, they separated us, saying our first float should be alone to experience it correctly. So let's toss the couple experience out the window. Later, they told us the "couples pod" was broken, so I'm not sure half of that was correct. Secondly, we were told to bring bathing suits on the phone, but when we got there we were told we had to be completely naked, which left me feeling uncomfortable. Thirdly, when the attendant "turned over" or cleaned the rooms from the previous customers who were just leaving when we got there, I saw no cleaning supplies used, OR him wearing any gloves to clean. Also this took him a total time of 5 minutes to clean at least 2 of the rooms. Remember, you are naked in a room where you are essentially in a bathtub, and you must shower before and after the "float". Knowing naked human beings were in there taking showers, and floating where I would be, I felt that a higher level of sanitization should have been used. Btw there were 3 people ahead of us all had complaints as well. It was 2 girls and 1 guy. One girl said the lights kept coming on, then off while she was trying to rinse and float. The guy in the group said the water was cold (he was right). And the other female customer complained about the noises she heard. Finally, after being in my room alone for less than 5 minutes, already at a high level of stress at this point, and feeling awkward and uncomfortable and naked in this strange environment, the whale sounds started. Yes, moaning groaning WHALES. And NO it was not soothing or relaxing at all. BTW, I wasn't even in the pod when it started. Once I laid in the pod, I felt cold, anxious, and annoyed, and my germaphobia, which I didn't know I had, kicked in, I got up, got dressed and left. I wanted to tell my girlfriend but was told I couldn't interrupt her experience, which wasn't much different than mine. She told me she laid there, in dead silence for almost 50 minutes, while starring at the ceiling and playing in the water (which she also felt was a bit cold). At several points in her experience the lights came on and she got up and started to dry off until the lights went off again. She said "I felt like I could've stayed at home in an epson salt bath and done the same thing". My girlfriend purchased this as a couples experience for us for my birthday. I felt really bad as this was a huge disappointment. It seemed great from the reviews, and looked like a bonding experience. But it was the complete opposite. In fairness they gave us a voucher for another float, but I'll never go back, so I'm not sure how that made me feel. A full refund for my Birthday would've been better. read more

Have to admit - I was hoping for a better experience! I had gifted a couples float to my boyfriend and we arrived 15min early, as required, with our paperwork already filled out, as requested. We were quickly "checked in" and told to use the restroom prior to floating. It was a little odd as my bf stated he was good and didn't need to use and the lady basically told him he had to. I understand the purpose of it, but it just felt...weird and pushy. We sit in the small waiting area and are told the couple before us was just finishing up and we'd be ready soon. Side note -- we both came to try floating for the first time to relax. I expect that's why most want to try floating. There were 2 people working, one was newer and the other was "training" her. The one who was doing the training was MISERABLE to be in the presence of. Like, actually miserable. She spoke unnecessarily loudly, spoke negatively of other customers about things I shouldn't and didn't want to hear and was overall just creating a very tense, uncomfortable situation. I texted my bf twice saying i wanted to just leave, but he wanted us to enjoy the relaxing float we had booked together. We waited over 45minutes past our reservation time - an hour after we arrived - before we even started the process. I was actually stressed at this point, we had other timed plans that day and the long delay was barely mentioned or apologized for. The lady who had been loud and obnoxious the whole time actually just complained to us that the couple before us took to long. I understand they "clean" between each use, but repeatedly mentioning the people using the pod before us really grossed me out. We went through a "tour" with other guests, and FINALLY, an hour after our reservation time, we were left to fill our pod and float. Since we were in the couples pod, which isn't an actual pod, it's an open pool, it took longer to fill. It is VERY hot in this particular room, they stated this is because the pod is open and the temperature needs to be kept warmer so the pod water is body temperature. We both were way too uncomfortable with it. Overall, we didn't enjoy the experience. At all. We both agreed we'd like to try an individual pod float at some point, but would not go back here for that. read more

First time floating, visiting from out of town, friendly staff, overall great experience

This was my first experience with this type of service. I was looking for a remedy for anxiety and stress. I did a total of 3 sessions and was feeling optimistic. My groupon expired and Renee offered me the $99 a month with cancellation at any time. Being new to this it was important to not be locked in a contract which she assured me I would not. After a couple visits I realized the level of effort to treat my hair as a result of the epsom salt potency, I was not using the sessions I was accumulating so I called and requested to cancel my membership. I was told I had to complete a form requesting cancellation and submit it at least 10 business days before the auto draft date. Since my request was inside that window I allowed the $99 auto draft and submitted the cancellation form and emailed them letting them know I wanted to cancel my membership and auto draft for the upcoming month. I never received a response. Over a week passed so I called to check the status of the cancellation and was told that I signed up for a multiple month contract and they would not cancel. I informed the rep that Renee did not disclose anything about a term contract. She specifically told me I could cancel at anytime. I asked for a callback from Renee to resolve the issue. She called me and I reminded her of our conversation and that she upsold me on a month to month cancel at anytime. She said she would call me back in 30 minutes. She never called me back which was a red flag. I contacted my bank and had them block any of their attempts to draft money from my account. I'm glad I did because they have attempted to draft my account for $99 every single day since then. Unfortunately for me I have paid for sessions I will never use. I'm disappointed in how this situation was handled and feel this could have been resolved but they had no interest in doing that. $99 was more important to them than a customer's experience. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Any response they post here in response to my review should fall on deaf ears. If a customers experience matters you would have kept your word and called me back. Very disappointed. read more
