I don't know how I first found out about this place, but when I first heard of it my mind automatically went to a ghost kitchen specifically designed to cater to GrubHub or DoorDash. When I did some more research and found that it was not a ghost kitchen, and had it's own storefront, right next to Whole Foods in Greenwich I had to try it. I went yesterday and I didn't even see it from the front but if you round the corner there is an entrance in the back with a ton of more parking, much more than what you would get in the street. Just be warned if you park in the back there are stairs leading up to the restaurant so if you're in a wheelchair or have leg issues you might want to try your luck grabbing a space in front. Once up there I found the place to be very clean and the employee was very friendly. I ordered the "Hot Bird" sandwich along with a side of brussel sprouts to go. The sandwich itself was $11 and brussels were $8 so after everything it was around $20. Could it be a little on the higher side for some? Yea, possibly, but overall the sandwich is much higher quality and a lot bigger than what you would get at say Shake Shack which costs about the same for their chicken sandwiches. The brussel sprouts were very tasty and the sandwich was great, however they put a little too much red cabbage slaw on it than I was expecting, but now I know for next time to have them go lite on it. Overall this place is definitely a surprise and it's a spot I will definitely be back to. Oh and sorry for the bad quality on the photo, I tried not to be too obvious when taking pics in businesses like that.

I have been here twice and love it! It's all about the chicken. They air fry it so no guilt! What could be better than that! I really like the variety of burgers they have. The salads are good too. I like the freshness and ingredients. Healthy and satisfying. The coffee is not my favorite. The service is great. The owner is hands on and friendly. It's gets busy during lunch yet they are all still smiling! The inside has some bar type seating around the perimeter and it's nice to people watch at the window. There are a couple of tables inside and out. We ate outside in the summer and it was really nice.

While driving on Putnam Ave, passed this new little cafe and since I was hungry, decided to pull over and try this place out. This cafe has both outside and inside seating. Walking in I noticed there was a strong smell of food being cooked, more like smoke from cooking oil. The place has a display of bakery items upfront. There is a board with menu items which consists of wraps, sandwiches and snacks. I decided to try their BBQ bird and the Buffalo Bird sandwiches, which actually came in burger buns. If I was to pick from the two, the barbecue one was awesome for the side I also picked a chocolate chip cookie which was really good. The prices are kind of steep but for that area they are appropriate. This is a good addition to the Greenwich vibe Which lack such cafes

I really hate to give a bad review but i feel compelled to, as someone who makes most of my restaurant choices based on Yelp reviews. I walked into the store to order takeout yesterday. When I got home, I forced myself to take three bites of this sandwich and threw the rest in the trash. The chicken was DRENCHED in sauce and the sauce wasn't even good. Neither was the piece of chicken itself. I also ordered waffle fries - ate a few of them the second I got into my car and they were soggy and not hot. Was hoping to snack on them on my way home because I was starving. Seemed like they'd been sitting around for a while. $18+ dollars down the drain. Sorry, Freebird! I won't be revisiting :(

This location is very clean, modern and fresh decor/style all in one. They have friendly staff especially the older guy who went out of his way to make my visit a rememberable one. He was super busy and offered to put my final touch on my smoothie with homemade whipped cream. I have to say he made it complete and I was very pleased as it tasted awesome. I hope Gregory's will come to the Hartford area one day in the near future.

I had the deluxe breakfast sandwich. The sausage was terrible: tasteless, egg was that foamy egg beater stuff, and the cheese was basically velveeta, and they microwaved it so the croissant was a soggy mess. It had no flavor at all (look at my photo) and looked like a used diaper. My wife had the avocado toast which used plastic bag guac and also had no flavor. And to top it off: no plates at all, we were expected to eat from an aluminum foil wrap and a cardboard box. We also had a cappuccino and a lavender cold brew. The former was milky beyond belief, couldn't taste the espresso, and served too hot; the latter was incredibly sweet. We threw them both out. Again, skip this place. It's horrible. Clearly they're cutting costs by serving low quality repeatable food in easy cheap packaging. They don't respect their customers.

The space itself is absolutely stunning and so photogenic. They nailed the rustic, southern French country-style vibe--reclaimed wood, fresh flowers on every single table, and tons of natural light. It truly feels like a warm, cozy "home away from home," which I know is exactly what the founders (a husband-and-wife duo) were aiming for to honor their mothers' kitchens. The food here is consistently great, whether you're sitting down or grabbing take-out. My absolute go-to is the Katie Chicken sandwich. It's herb-roasted chicken, basil aioli, roasted red peppers, arugula, and roasted tomato. You can get it on ciabatta or a baguette, but do yourself a favor and opt for the baguette. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Honestly, any pastry you grab here is going to be amazing. I also love that they offer a few vegan options--the vegan raspberry bar is so good I end up eating one almost every single day. Pair whatever you get with an espresso drink; they serve them in these quintessential blue and white china cups that make you feel like you're sitting in a bistro in the French countryside. A quick tip on parking: There's metered parking on Greenwich Ave (9am-5pm, Mon-Sat) or a public lot right behind the CVS across the street. Definitely download the ParkMobile app and stay on top of your time, because parking enforcement is highly active around here!

I had an oat milk latte, piña colada overnight oats and a cookie. Everything was delicious. I've come here for breakfast and lunch too. Since it was around lunch time, I thought I would browse the Avenue to see if I could grab a bite. It was a short search since Le Pain Quotidien was right down the block - and since I'm a fan of the brand I thought it would be the ideal place to go. Le Pain is a fast-casual chain that serves soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. The best way to describe the workflow is to compare it to Panera, though Le Pain has better aesthetics, offers better food, and has table service if you choose to dine in (okay so maybe it's not appropriate to compare it to Panera). Decor is nice - it's semi-upscale without being stuffy, totally accessible to the casual shopper on the Greenwich Ave. Anyway, I was dining in so I had a seat and started browsing the menu. I didn't want anything too heavy, and the mozzarella melt looked perfect. This was kind of like a big crostini topped with cherry tomatoes, arugula, chicken, and mozzarella. The dish was great, all the ingredients were fresh and complemented each other well. It was also the perfect lunch size - I felt satisfied but not stuffed. Service was good, everyone was really friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at this Le Pain - the food is good, the employees are friendly, and this is an ideal place to stop in for a quick meal. I would definitely return for another meal (and some baked goods) if I'm ever in the area again.
