I'd come here weekly if I lived nearby - insanely fresh, delicious, healthy rotisserie chicken, Brussels sprouts, and creamy white-cheddar mac and cheese. Unreal!!! Can you open in Katonah?? I love rotisserie chicken, so I went in with high expectations--and it did not disappoint! As soon as you walk in, you can see the ovens turning, cooking the chicken hot and fresh. I ordered the family meal for $54, which included a whole chicken, four sauces, and four sides. I chose the crispy Brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, potatoes, and the rice--though the rice wasn't my favorite since it was a bit too minty for my taste. Other than that, the meal was fantastic. The chicken was juicy, the skin perfectly crispy, and every bite was flavorful. I also tried some of their other offerings, including salads, a wrap, and wings--everything was seriously incredible. The recipes are mostly solid in pure brilliant simplicity Obviously like the original Boston chicken founder in the 80s there is some chef caterer with exceptional culinary talent behind this refreshed concept. The lemon dill dressing with the tomato cucumber salad is divine.Should be sold separately! I was little put off by the price of a half a chicken and two sides initially but understand fixed costs and doing business in this new era And because execution was consistent with most of the entire order reasonably justified. My only criticism from giving the full 5 stars was the potatoes they were soggy and lacking the pop of flavor expected I've seen the drippings thing where crispness and flavor have a wow factor ( san franciso farmers market outdoor rotisserie (Ferry Building )comes to mind where the dish excels) The sweet potatoes shined in comparison with letting the produce speak for itself. I'm jealous we have nothing like this in Las Vegas or San Diego where I own homes but folks in New England have this all to themselves. Ordered out twice. I tried their Medi and Pacifica Salad. Both were super fresh and tasty. I preferred the Pacifica Salad because it came with freshly shredded chicken and I also forgot to not ask for olives in my Medi salad. Service was fast. First time I went into the store and ordered take-out. It took about 5 minutes. Next time I pre-ordered on DoorDash and food was ready by the time I arrived. I haven't ordered their hot foods, but I'm sure the wait would be a little longer. Restaurant looks super clean from the moment you enter. There's nice lighting and a bunch of tables to choose from. Even a bench to wait for take out. I do wish they have more parking but I don't mind walking over the bridge and parking at the neighboring plaza lot. read more

Passing through Cos Cob on a Sunday evening my daughter drew my attention to this place that she had heard good things about this new restaurant. That was enough for me to turn around and check the place out. The place is known for its Rotisserie Chicken as that is their main offering but have a few different items on the menu. We went ahead and order the half chicken with a side of fries and potatoes. The fries were the ones we started with, and they are one of the best I have had in a very long time. Fresh, just the perfect tenderness and were not greasy at all. It reminded me of my own home when we were kids all sitting together after playing some sports and my mom would serve us such fries. My daughter loved the Roti Potatoes and we both appreciated the herbs that were used. Again not oily at all and very flavorful. Lastly we tried the chicken itself, and it was really fresh. Tender, juicy, wasn't overdone with spices and was very well done. This is a great addition to the Cos Cob restaurant scene, and has the potential to catch on. Really want to call out the owner in trying something different with Rotisserie Chicken and bringing it to the public. read more

I've been disappointed the last few times I've had the chicken. Sadly, I believe the restaurant has changed their chicken recipe or formula recently so that it no longer seems to be actually rotisserie instead it appears to just be oven baked. Or maybe they're using a poorer bird. It's very apparent because it's now dry, tough and doesn't pack the same flavor punch. This place blew me away. Traveling in the area on business and didn't want to go to a random diner or grab a burger from somewhere was really in the mood for some rotisserie chicken. I couldn't believe how incredibly fresh everything tasted and how clean the ingredients were. Not only was the food. Excellent but the staff was incredibly helpful and when I let them know that it was my first time with them and made a few recommendations based on some things that I liked. After I was done eating here, I remember telling my wife we need one of these places in our own town. Hope they open up some more locations because it was absolutely fantastic. I was surprised at how delicious the food is here!! Our family of 7 went for dinner and ordered 2 of the family meals. We picked all the sides. The portions were just enough for all of us: 2 adults, 4 teens, and a 6yr old. Total was around $120 and well worth it! We ordered at the counter and ate at the restaurant. It was really cold because the AC was blasting! The chicken was flavorful, juicy, and tender. The sides were all delicious!! The crispy Brussels tasted slightly burnt/overcooked but we still ate them up. The kale salad had a delicious dressing and a cooling effect which hit the spot. Cucumber salad was refreshing and the dill flavor was fresh. Roti potatoes...I mean potatoes and chicken are just a match made in heaven. Rotisserie cauliflower was a little salty if you ate more of the outer portion and didn't get the inner unseasoned part...but a squeeze of lemon with a dip into sauce balanced it out. Our favorite sauce was the garlic dijonnaise. The salsa verde sauce was watery and not spicy which is what I was expecting. Chili vinegar sauce was not very spicy and it's watery. We got all the sauces and had a hard time figuring out which was which. The garlic was the easiest to decipher by smell! The service was phenomenal. The assistant manager came to check on us several times and always had a big smile. The place was clean, organized and smelled delicious as soon as you walked in. I convince my work colleagues to order lunch from there a week later and they were SO happy with the food and sauces. They loved the recommendation and I enjoyed the Pacifica salad. I love rotisserie chicken, but Wildacre's chicken blows any I've had out of the park! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the delicious smell of their food, and it was impressive to see the whole oven on display behind the counter. My boyfriend and I ordered the half chicken to share, which was a perfect amount for us. The garlic dijonnaise was amazing, and we really liked the creamy tahini too! The roti potatoes were so flavorful from the chicken drippings, and don't even get me started on the Brussels!! I read on the menu they use date syrup on them, and I think it makes all the difference, because these were quite possibly the best brussels I've ever had! We ordered their Pacifica salad as well. All of the ingredients were so fresh, and I loved the lemon dressing it came with! Their space is exceptionally clean, and the view of the pond behind is so pretty.
